Geronimo Kiddies (Open)

[saneatsu]

He knew he shouldn't have tried a short cut. It's one thing to move a small object but it was another to try a whole space ship. But he decided to take the risk. With the Republic gone wacko she had decided to rally some support but that was three weeks ago.

His attention is snapped back to his current situation, his ship in disarray. The protocol droid beside him begins to whistle and screech in terror as it slides on it's back towards the back of the ship. Emergency sirens are sounding as the ship was caught in the gravity field of a small planet.

As he tries to pull himself towards the controls to reverse the gravity field he swears at the droid.

Next time I ask for detail, GET ME DETAIL, not just the basic charts dammit.

He finally reaches the console and resets the controls, collapsing on the floor as the gravity is righted. He picks himself up and sits back in the main control, directing the ship to a safe distance from the planet.

The droid picks itself up and resumes it spot on the right, working to update their location. It beeps to signal that they are still on track with Wakanda's last known flight path, displaying their current position on the holoscreen.

Damn, why would she head this far out into the outer rim. What was she thinking.

He sets the controls to follow the path that he get from some traders and prays that with a little help from the force he can find her.

Once their course is laid in he heads towards the back of the ship where a spider droid is crawling through the electrical systems. He whistles and holds out his hand. The droid makes it's way back to him where it displays a two dimensional female AI with long hair and a scowl almost always on her face. The image ends just above the torso.

So, can you figure out how to get the damn Hyper-drive engine running again, or do I need to try to space fold us to our destination?

The AI rolls her eyes at him and the droid jumps down from his hand, moving to the console in that part of the ship. It reaches an arm out and begins to interface with the ship's computer, the AI responding a few moments later.

While you could do that, I don't feel like dying today. I can get us limited hyper drive function. It will be bumpy but it will work. But are you sure this is the right path? I know you have that force mumbo-jumbo but how can you be sure...

He cuts her off, not wanting to deal with that possibility at the moment.

She's out there ok? I don't expect you to understand but she wouldn't just disappear, not again, not like last time.

His voice hints at worry and he shakes his head to get it out.

Look just keep doing repairs but I'm using the engines, we need to find her before the Republic notices where I'm headed. Not that they care much as long as we stay out of the way, but if they had anything to do with this they'll be after us.

The AI shrugs and disappears, the droid heading off to do more repairs. At this he turns and heads towards the main section. He plots in the course he found, with some modifications that he tried to get from the force and activates the hyper drive.

Almost immediately there is a loud bang and a massive jolt, like they hit something going fast, faster than they should have been. The emergency lights and sirens begin to sound, alerting him that the ship has hit some... thing and has dropped out of hyperspace.

R1, pull up the navigation computer, get our current location. Cai, why the HELL did we drop out of hyperspace I thought you said we were good?

The spider droid drops down infront of him, missing two limbs and looking a little twitchy. The AI pops up and the droid tries to interface with the computer.

We did, but we hit some kind of bbarrier. The na-navigational computer is reporting that our current location is unknown, current he-heading is unknown, in fact it none of the stars are on the star chartttsss.

Swearing he looks out the side windows and glimpses something. He points the ship in that direction and see's a planet, a planet with a horn. The computer issues another alert as the ship is caught in the planet's gravity. He tries to turn the ship around but is met with yet another explosion.

Warning, main engine failure. However stabilizers and maneuvering thrusters are still online.

He thinks for a moment before directing the rear stabilizers to push them in. As the ship approaches the surface he spots a city with an area on the outskirts that seems like a good of place as any to crash.

Ok, it looks like we're going to have to crash land. Inertial dampeners to max, thrusters to full reverse and open the main hatch. Maybe we can salvage the ship later.

He grabs the spider droid and attaches it to the holder on his torso as he heads towards the back of the ship. He sets the computer to count down to impact and yells for his protocol droid.

R1, come one move it we have to jump.

The droid whistles and beeps, making its way to him. As the computer counts down he prays that the force will let him survive and find Wakanda.

Ship Impact in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6

Without a second thought he jumps, realizing that with the navigational computer shot they were about twice as high as he thought they would be. As he falls he begins to summon the force into his hands, giving everything he has to one last push.

Two seconds before impact he pushes the stored energy out. The force ripples as he sends a massive wave of telekenetic energy towards the ground, slowing him and dampening the impact somewhat.

As he lays on the ground after impact his thoughts drift in and out of consciousness, before he succumbs to the darkness of regenerative sleep one last thought crosses his mind.

Where the hell is R1

[Saasha]

After a few moments, the breeze stirred the grasses. Peaceful and serene as it flowed over Saneatsu's body, it began to curl in wisps and flutterings of invisible touches. Suddenly, a black shadow melted from the ground. A simple disk at first, but as the winds died down, black tendrils began to ooze out of it, rising up and slowly twisted and bending around themselves like serpents. Growing and twisting until finally they reached their full height.

Now, they began to shrink in on themselves, some flowing out of the back of the cylindrical shape like long thin feathers, waving about in the now still breeze. the lower portion split itself into two long columns that seemed to hold the rest of the shape up. The tedrils were forming a figure. They morphed and twisted to finish the arms and face of the figure. Once completed, the darkness faded the last traces of the darkness was blown away and the color underneath could be seen. In it's place, stood a elegantly portioned silver-haired woman.

Her heeled boots made little sound as she slowly made her way over to the fallen Saneatsu, her long crimson undercoat brushing her calves. She wore a black high collared corset over this that had been left fairly open at the top and revealed the silver cross lanyard that looped around her slender throat. Sheathing her legs were a pair of dark red and somewhat loose bottoms. Around her waist, a black leather belt, plain except for the silver skull buckle. On her hands she wore dark leather gloves that came up nearly up to her elbows. On her back, a sheathed broadsword that, even closed and sealed, was elegantly decorated and obviously powerful in its own right. Finally, on her hip, sat a weapon that the fallen man would recognize if he had been awake- a lightsaber.

She stood over the figure for a moment, gazing down at him in slight amusement. Were the surprises never over? Perhaps she would get lucky and Tech would be next. Either way, she sighed and nudged him with one booted foot. "Wake up. Going unconscious at a little fall... Pathetic."

[saneatsu]

When he is nudged he begins to stir. He flops over onto his back and looks at the person standing over him. He stumbles to his feet and brushes the dirt off of him. He takes a moment to check his droid, by poking at it and making sure that it isn't crushed. Looking at her he spots the light saber on her hip and he hopes for a second that he found some far off Jedi outpost.

However when he looks at her face his hopes are dashed and now he has to hope that he isn't in Sith controlled territory. However the momentary look of panic is suppressed as he remembers his training. He checks that his saber is still hidden in his right sleeve and faces the woman.

Oh? So you've seen me jump out of a ship before?

[Saasha]

"No if cannot control your own free fall then you must not be very adept. I repeat- pathetic. Especially for one with your track record." Her tone was not as hard as her words were but it definitely carried a hint of aloof harshness. She crossed her arms under her chest and pressed her weight onto one leg, watching him just as he watched her. It had been a long time since she had last seen him through her own body- eighteen years in fact. For him though, it had only been a few weeks. "Gotta love dimensional travel," she thought to herself.

So he didn't recognize her. This might be fun to let him sweat over for a bit. She had already dropped one hint and so she said nothing further. Idly she wondered if he would remember her mannerisms at all. Probably not, she had changed a great deal and the last time they had spoken, she had been in speaking through her daughter.

[saneatsu]

His eyes dance with interest. This person though familiar seemed to have him at a disadvantage. He raises an eyebrow when she speaks of his track record. Things just got more and more interesting as the last time he showed his full power was when he was a Sith. He pushes his aura out, subtly but it can be felt by those knowing how to sense it.

So she's seen what I'm capable of, if she is a Sith than this could be to my advantage.

He starts forward to shake her hand when an explosion can be heard coming from where his shipped crashed. In the distance an R1 unit can be heard screaming in terror as it flees towards him, having gotten about halfway when the ship officially died.. He shakes his head, giving up on that hope and continues forward, extending his hand out to her.

Well then it seems you have me at a disadvantage miss, though I do believe I didn't catch your name.

[Saasha]

She felt his Force power spread out and placed a small block on her mind, not only that but she also ignored his hand as she paced past him and up to the poor droid, not touching it but rather circling it and assessing the damage to it. "That is because I never gave it." She was having a bit of fun with this. However she did not intend to keep up the charade for long. After she found out which Saneatsu this was, she would have a possible way to find out how her children were doing. A relieving thought- if this Saneatau knew them that was.

Not only that but she had felt one other tremor within the Force- a very familiar one besides Ira and Saneatsu... She would investigate that later possibly. But back to the task at hand. She looked up from the droid and back to him, her silver eyes shimmering lightly in the sunlight.

[saneatsu]

He drops his hand and pulls out his comm. Seeing that there isn't any signal he sighs and resigns himself to the fact that he's trapped here. However he still has a glimmer of hope and decides to see if the strange woman, who he can't quite place, knows anything about Wakanda.

Well then, since you won't tell me your name, can you at least tell me if you've seen a Togruta around?

As he speaks a tattered and worn protocol droid practically crawls up. It beeps in confusion, not finding any of the signals it's used to. The small droid on his chect pops open and makes it's way to the other droid. It begins to search it for damage and does repairs best it can.

[Saasha]

"Not the one you are looking for most likely." She decided to take a bit of a guess, his Force was very much lightside so maybe this was the one she had supposed. "If you are looking for Wakanda, I felt her presence a while ago, and not all that far away either." She left the droid and approached him without hesitance, stopping by a few paces from him. "Your loyalty to her is admirable Saneatsu. I suppose she was on her way somewhere when she got sucked it to this world. And seeing her vanish, you decided to follow?" Kissira's dark lips turned up into a half smile, "My my it is odd thinking of you following the Jedi again."

[saneatsu]

He gives her an odd look when she mentions that she has seen a Togruta that he wouldn't be looking for but then tells him about Wakanda.

Ok two Togruta's, dammit that means....

As she continues his eyes narrow when she mentions being sucked to this planet. As he goes to ask her about that he is stopped as she mentions him coming after Wakanda and following the Jedi. At this he sighs and shrugs. No use in hiding the truth and maybe it will win him an ally, albeit temporarily.

Yes well we both know what happened the last time she vanished. It was also a mission of exploration as we couldn't even find her ships locator. As for being back with the Jedi, lets just say my mission there was done and it was time for me to return to the Jedi.

Do you have a problem with that?

[Saasha]

A low chuckle resounded from the woman's throat, "Would you care if I did?" No, he hadn't changed a bit. Still has blunt and uncaring as ever. Well at least she wouldn't have to guess at his motives and ambitions, those she remembered all too well. That thought in her mind and his identity secured, she leaned to one side, "So tell me, do you plan to search for her immediately? It shouldn't be all that hard to find her since I have already felt her presence. And to be frank, I would like to see how she is doing. Last I saw she was in a bit of turmoil it seemed." Even if he refused her assistance, she planned on reuniting with Wakanda anyhow. So why not see to it that Saneatsu didn't get himself lost in the process? She never was one to not do as she wished.

[saneatsu]

He shrugs, not really feeling like getting into a fight with the first person he comes across, or rather comes across him. He again pushes out with the force, stretching it thin and spreading it out as far as he can. The toll of using so much energy in one day is getting to him and he is starting to look fatigued. Hiding it best he can he continues, not finding Wakanda in the area though.

Seeing as you know me so well, you should know the answer to the first question.

As for the second I have no problem with it. Obviously you know this place well and it would make tracking her down easier.

A spark of realization occurs as he remembers that the last time Wakanda was in turmoil was right before..... He sighs and pulls in his aura as he doesn't need to broadcast himself to everyone in the area, lest he stumble upon her. He motions for her to lead the way and he decides to play with her head a bit.

So you only felt Wakanda? I know she wasn't alone but if you only felt her than that means that Viana...

His voice drops off as he seems to go deep into though but in reality he is waiting, listening for the woman's response. He hopes that she doesn't kill him for this but then again he might end up back at the temple and he could bring reinforcements to help figure out how they got here.

[Saasha]

Kissira began to pace in the direction she had last felt the Jedi master. But when Viana's name came into play, she turned to gaze coolly at Saneatsu out of the corner of one eye. "And Tech stopped being a man whore. Don't try me. Though I suppose that means that you have finally figured out who I am?" She turned back to watch where she was walking. "Good for you deary." At the last moment however, if Saneatsu was watching, he would catch a glimpse of a genuine smile from the woman.

Despite her banter, she was rather pleased to see that the man had not forgotten her. And now that his mind was free from the poison of those fools that call themselves 'Sith', she was partially glad for his company if only for the fact that this was someone she knew. And well.

[saneatsu]

He can't help but chuckle when Tech is mentioned and is glad his bluff paid off. He finally remembered a picture that was shown to him and was told that was what she looked like but he wasn't sure if that was true. Glad to have found a friend, or at least someone who doesn't want to kill him he speed up to get next to her and then maintains pace with her.

So tell me, just where the hell are we? One minute I'm following Wakanda's trail, the next I'm crashing into a planet because my hyper drive exploded.

[Saasha]

Her answer was simple,"We are near the city of Kari, on the continent of Jherra, on the planet Genesis, and not in your dimension anymore, I am afraid." Couldn't get more simple than that really. Now that he was conscious he would be fine. She didn't particularly care about him per say, but she did care about his well being if she could help it. Well now he was fine and headed in the right direction and she had her own business to attend to.

[saneatsu]

He shrugs, there really was noting else he could do. He could demand that she tell him the truth. However he had no reason to believe that she was lying. He mulls the information over for a moment before deciding that because she told him some useful information, and since she seems to know her way around this place, to give her some in return.

He taps on his datapad for a few moments before he continues, his spider droid climbing off of the R1 unit and running off. He had programmed it to begin a sweep of the area but to keep within his comm's beacon distance. He set the beacon to broadcast on all known channels, at least to him, and it should make anyone in the area with a similar style comm go off with his location. The spider droid works in a 360 degree circle with the center on him, hoping to come across the lost healer.

So that explains why the engines blew, I guess they couldn't handle coming through a dimensional rift. But one thing about that bugs me, how the hell did your ship survive then? Valtoliny never did explain that, shouldn't they have blown up on re-entry to our dimension?
