Kira sighed. It had been more difficult to track her down then he had figured it would be. Of course it probably didn't help that he was pushing himself lately, but he was good at hiding it. From her and everyone else. Still the time he had lost looking. He sighed. He wasn't upset about it, but he wasn't sure how quickly he was supposed to catch on. A day had passed. Would that be good enough or was he supposed to find her sooner then that? He couldn't help, but feel however he had missed time the night before. However to be true to himself he had needed the sleep and it had done him wonders. He was drawing close to her now. He could feel it through the Force. He rounded a corner and waited as he saw her. The real question is would she be displeased he had taken so long, pleased by it, or neither. ”Sorry it took so long.” he said. He wondered what it would be today. More Force learning and maybe a bit of learning to use a sword? He wouldn't know until it happened he supposed. ______________________________________________________ Key: Person to post next Song: Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Key: Thoughts; Dialouge

There she sat, her long silvery robes flowing over the bench she sat cross legged on. Her eyes were shut and her hair had been pulled back into a simple ponytail that rested over her shoulder. The toes of her black leather boots could be seen peeking out from under the robe as it lay partially in her lap. Her slender hands rested upon her knees, hanging limply. Finally in her lap lay her saber, it's worn silver casing reflecting the light every so slightly. She was in the middle of something. On the ground below her rested a broad sword, simple in design but obviously battle worthy in every sense.
As Kira approached, she would give no movement, not even a twitch or shift in her position. "Pick up the sword." Were her only words. They were spoken softly but with evident firmness. It was a command, not a request. She was indeed pleased that he had made it to her when he did. She had expected him to take much much longer than he had. A least another day or two. But that was a good sign. A sign that told her that he had much promise.

Kira blinked at her words. Not even a greeting? Was she really that annoyed with him? He supposed she might have a right to be. He walked over to the sword briefly eyeing the lightsaber in her lap. ”Where-” he started to ask before cutting himself off. He breifly shook his head to clear the thoughts. No he trusted her, he knew that well. It's why he had followed her when he had first reached out to the Force. He offered her a small smile. ”Sorry.” he said meaning for the doubt. He slowly picked up the sword. He had seen enough of it to get a basic hold on it down, but beyond that he wasn't sure what happened. He looked at her a bit curious waiting. Wasn't she at all concerned he might accidently hurt her with this? There was a bit of worry in his eyes as well, as the question went unsaid. Again he trusted her and her judgement. If she thought she'd be okay, then he'd trust her, but worry was worry regardless. He knew he'd probably be on the receiving end of most of the training her considering her methods, but what if an attack accidently slipped through. The sword did look sharp enough to do some damage. ______________________________________________________ Key: Person to post next Song: Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Key: Thoughts; Dialouge

Still she did not move as he bent to pick up the sword, nor as he apologized, nor as he inspected it. For certain this would be hard for him, but that was the key. Living memories were helpful, but she wanted to see his skill and resourcefulness for herself. It was time. "Are you ready then?" She asked in a rather amicable tone. An interesting contrast to her current posture and outward appearance.

Kira blinked as she asked if he was ready. Was she ready was a better question. She seemed so relaxed. He wasn't going to lie however to her question so he decided to answer it as he should, honestly. ”Not really, but you have to start at some point, right?” he asked her. He had a feeling though that this was going to be more then a loss for him. Wait. She didn't plan on using the lightsaber did she? Even using her sword be dangerous, unless..... ”You can adjust the output on your lightsaber, can't you?” he asked. He could do something similar with his Gundam's weapons systems so why couldn't hers?

Finally, a slight curl appeared at the corners of her mouth, "You needed worry, deary. If I do hit you, you will only feel a slight sting. Let us begin. And your first lesson, is learning how to side step an attack. Simply feel out with the force and let it feel for an incoming attack and the attack's point of focus. Then you merely need to remove yourself from that spot. And I suggest you do it quickly." The words were no sooner out of her mouth, than her form began to turn opaque then vanished, her force aura along with it.
If Kira immediately obeyed, he would feel a form descending upon him from his left side as Kissira dove down upon him from her slightly higher perch. She was pleased to find that her copy technique hadn't wavered, she hadn't used it in so long. Now to see what he did.

Kira just listened to her explantion. He didn't question it. Again her trusted her. Let it feel for an incoming attack, and the point of focus? He frowned his mind trying to figure out what that had meant. And then he blinked a bit surprised as started to vanish, but already his senses were alert and he heard her coming from behind and rolled out of the way before reaching for his gun, but he stopped frowning. No. This wasn't how he was supposed to be doing it, but instinct was a powerful thing. He slowly moved to remove his gun to show he had no intentions on using it here. Before placing it on the ground having to focus to push it away from the fight. The next thing he did was close his eyes reaching out with the Force. He could tell where she was and how close, but not anything of where her attack was coming from still based on the sound, he however went one step further as his mind cleared. He tired to focus out the sound. He woul still be able to hear her voice if she spoke, but that was all. He reached out with the Force. He assumed this was the way it was supposed to be regardless of his other abilities. Maybe he might get out of this without getting too hurt, but he highly doubted that.

"Very good, it is important to rely on your own senses at times. But as you saw from the copy, that is not always the case. Next lesson- rather next thing to keep in mind. Always be aware of your surroundings and what you cannot see with your eyes." She was amused that her statement was coincidentally matching up with the closing of his eyes and reaching out with his aura. She was also pleased that he had stopped his habit of using his gun for at least this match. Personally, although she did find value in the tools what with them being long range and such, personally she was not fond of them. To her, they were cheating, especially since she had been raised on the sword. But then again, since when had she ever needed one personally?
"Now then, let's continue." She charged at him, the low hum of her saber really the only sound in the area. For anyone that had seen her saber before, they would notice something odd about it. The black lightning that raced up and down it's core usually was only faintly visible and the red crimson was a bit darker than usual- both clear signs that Kissira had lowered the power on it. Now if the plasma blade were to find home on flesh, it wold leave a burn and would sting greatly, but nothing more than that. Nor would it cut through his blade, that she had made sure of. A difficult task even for her. Her saber was waaaay powered down...
As she made her approach, she spoke again, "Next, blocking. Do you best to meet my attacks by stopping them or deflecting them." With that, she came in with a simple sideways slash towards his midsection before flipping it back over her head to strike on the other side, a classic saber move. It was fast to be sure, but she had curbed her speed just a bit. Once he began to get the hand of it, she would pick up the pace.

Kira slightly frowned. She was moving right along and it seemed he had some catching up to do still. He had managed to block out the sound of her saber so he only heard her voice draw closer. Moving again, he reached out trying to foucs on what she had said. As she moved to attack he felt it. It wasn’t quite words, but just a feeling of danger. Of something that needed to be avoided, but where? He tried to focus on it more, and caught it mere milimeters before it hit. Too slow, much too slow. No time to deflect or dodge. That didn’t mean he wasn’t going to try however. He started to dodge to the side trying to roll under it, but it still caught a good portion of what it was looking for causing him to supress any sound. Pain as a motivator. Good one. That done he restablished his stance after putting some distance between them. He had failed that time, but he wasn’t sure if that was good or bad for a first attempt. His eyes still closed he simply waited. Next time maybe he’d be able to pick up on it sooner then that.

From her silver robes, she pulled a black silk cloth band and approached Kira, dis-igniting her saber, "Feel the Force flow through you, let it guide you. It will not control your actions, but if you listen to it, you will feel where your blade needs to go. It will take time to perfect the awareness, but it is well worth it in the end. Focus on it, not concealing your vision." As she spoke she tied the soft cloth around his eyes and ignited her saber again, backing up a few paces.
"I want you to understand what you are in for, Kira. I am not one for light sessions. I was trained to kill and kill alone. And although you are much the same... I do not have reservations about it." In that one moment, the mild facade that she had been sporting the past few days was gone and Kira was going to get a glimpse of who his teacher was. She was not going to try and bash his skull in for certain. That much much farther down the road once she felt he could handle it. If she was staying in this world for that long it was.
For the time being, she would train him as if he were her own student, and that was one reason why she didn't take on students. Most of them would have bitched or given up. So when someone usually asked her for she tutelage, she would turn them down knowing full well that the training would not be what they were expecting. She may have been the mother a two Grand Jedi Knights, but she was not and never would be a Jedi.
And so, she let Kira have a brief moment to prepare himself and realize that her past actions would have no bearing on this encounter. "I shall await your signal." Her aura turned completely emotionless- not flat- just emotionless. It swirled and danced around her and if Kira would see it, he would find that it assumed the shape it had done for decades. Smooth, fluid movements that would resemble black rivers and pockets of constantly shifting smoke. But then, Not but one person had intimately seen and felt her aura. Even now, the small piece of that treasured woman warmed her breast as the thought floated in her mind. Such good memories... But back to the task at hand.

He heard her as she approached, but he couldn't feel any sense of danger coming from the Force, so he didn't move from where he was. He was a bit surprised when she put the cloth around his eyes. He supposed that was so he wasn't tempted to try to use them. A small smile appeared on Kira's face at her words. ”I know.” he said instead. He wasn't going to complain and say it wasn't fair she hadn't told him or anything of the like. He had assumed she wouldn't be as easy going as some might expect just from what she had been through and based on she had said about her own aura. ”Neither Jedi nor Sith, but the potential to be both.” he reminded her. He hadn't forgotten those words. Even when he had asked the other day he knew his training wasn't going to be smooth all the way through. It rarely was. He took a few moment to gather himself. To foucs in on the Force more trying not to try too hard least he lose his grip like she had said. ”Ready.” came his reply when she said she was waiting on him. He settled in to wait. Maybe this time he'd be able to react a little faster. ______________________________________________________ Key: Person to post next Song: Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Key: Thoughts; Dialouge

Kissira's feet flew across the stony ground as she advanced. She moved at a pace that he could follow but would still have to stay on his toes to do so. Her saber lightly crackling in her right hand as she swung for the side of Kira's head. Her other hand was held palm open at her chest, fingers lightly curled. Not waiting to see if he blocked it- it would only graze him anyhow if he didn't- she spun in the opposite direction of her first swing and lowered her self to the ground to take a swipe at his mid-shin.

And just like that it had started again. He focused not having to keep his eyes closed which had only taken a little effort in the first place. He felt that sense of danger again, but where was the troubling part. He felt it a tad earlier this time, not time to block, but barely giving him enough time to duck feeling the heat of it pass him by, but almost immeditely after he felt it again. Without thinking he moved his sword down, but not catching it nearly fast enough as it was right against his shin, he still wasn't used to fighting with a sword so his block seemed off, causing him to jump back. Still not good enough. There was too much delay. She might think he was doing well, but for him it was too slow. Too little.

Of course she had gone to find one of her hold apprentices. How could she not? A chilling wind filled the the street ways, pushing out and spanning over the two, rolling in like a thick and dense fog. Her aura announced her presence, but still, she remained hidden from view. A grand entrance was called for, after all.

Kissira's face went neutral as that familiar aura washed over the area. After so many years, she was going to see her master face to face again. Well, not including their little spat a few days before. Kissira stopped and let her saber fall by her side still ignited, her voice echoing in Kira's head, "Remove the blindfold and place your senses back in place, we are done training for now." The silver-haired woman silently wondered if Ira knew it was she or just had her suspicions. Much had changed since she last saw the Dark Lady. And now she would find out just which Ira this was.
"Still as stylish as ever, my Lady. I see not much has changed." Her tone held a bit of a joking hint to it though her features were as stoic as ever. This was going to be interesting, indeed.
