The night was still a young one as the female headed through the streets. What an odd place this was. It seemed rather old fashioned for her tastes but she wasn't going to complain. Tugging her hood up, the female stuck her hands in her pockets. It was rather cold tonight as well, which seemed odd. Oh well hopefully she wouldn't be here long. The only reason she had ended up in this town was because she had gotten word that a friend of hers was here. It had been years since she had seen the girl and if she was here they would have a lot to catch up on. The chain bracelet around her wrist chimed a little as she shifted. "At least the weather is nice."
The wind shifted her hair a bit teasing the two low ponytails she had and she pulled her hoodie tighter around her. A small cafe caught her eye and she shifted her path so she could go warm up. Once inside she left a sigh of relief come from her as she quickly warmed up. The sharp smell of coffee filled her nose as she headed over to the counter. Ordering a small cup of tea, she leaned against the counter and looked over the small cafe. The place was a little busier than she had hoped for but people were probably trying to stay warm. Her clothing choice made her stand out among the locals. The lavender dress she had on went to about mid thigh on her and the black and purple jacket she wore over it was almost as long. With stockings to match, she definitely didn't look like she belonged. Grabbing her cup of tea, the female headed over to the nearest empty seat. At least it wasn't raining.

Neko grimaced as she lifted the collar of her coat against the cold. "Blasted weather" she muttered, feeling a bit helpless. The large blade she lifted over her shoulder gave an amused chuckle. "Your never happy with the weather" said the wispy ominous voice. "Well the weathers never nice!" she huffed back. "Where are we anyways?" she looked about the alley, then glanced at the small device on her arm. "I've got no map of this place, and I've never seen anything like it in Tokyo... it looks completely untouched by demons..." she mused. The sword did not answer, for it had no answer. "I blame you for this" huffed Neko as she hefted the sword higher on her shoulder, lifting the large blade with ease. "I merely told you I felt an unusual energy from the tower. I did not say it was the kind we were searching for" chuckled the blade. "Oh... oh whatever!" she grumbled in reply, peering out of the alleyway.
"Hey look a cafe!" she pointed out the rather comfortable looking place. "How do you even know this place takes the same currency?" Neko grimaced. "Well only one way to find out! Now keep it down, no need to freak out the locals right?" The sword gave no reply, so with another dramatic sigh and slipped into the rather busy cafe. With a grimace (she hated crowds) Neko made her way around the edge and took the first empty seat she could, glancing out of the corner of her eye at the woman sitting across from her. "Hey um... this sounds like a weird question but uh..." Neko hesitated as the gave the lavender dressed girl a quick once over. "What kind of currency does this place take? We- I mean er... I'm... not from around here..." The sword gave a quiet chuckle and, eye twitching slightly, Neko placed on the ground and gave it a sharp kick.

As the female lifted her cup to her lips, another girl walked into the cafe. She had a rather large sword on her back and from what the female could tell it had it's own consciousness. If the chuckle it made was any kind of clue. For a moment the female just stared at the girl. Why was she in such a place? Most of all the girl seemed rather uncomfortable. "To be honest I'm not sure of the currency they use here. I think they take anything that is some kind of currency. This place is known for having many outsiders come through such as you and I." The female stated softly as she took another sip from her tea. Closing her eyes for a second, she then opened them and focused the purple orbs on the young girl. "Order as you please. I'll take care of the charge."
Despite it being a cold night, the female was in a rather good mood. She was feeling somewhat nice and would help the young girl out. The cup in her hand started to cool and she frowned. Their tea may be good but it didn't stay hot for long. Small purple flames danced under the cup for a brief second, and the cup was suddenly steaming again. "So you aren't from around here? Where are you from exactly? People come from all over the place here. There are people from different realms, different planets, different countries, and even different species." The demoness smiled at the young girl as she cradled her cup of tea. This was nice, having a conversation with another person. For so long she had cut herself off from the world and not socialized with anyone, but now she out and making up for lost time. It was time for her to forget her past and move on.

Neko gave the girl a thumbs up. "Thanks I owe ya one." Neko wasn't one to pass up a free offer, ordering something simple and cheap. As she sipped the drink she turned her gaze to the girl. Her eyes widened as she choked.on her drink. When she could speak she sputtered. "W- what do you mean other realms?! The sword coughed and made a little 'oops' sound. "Oops?! What do ya mean 'oops'?!" Neko exclaimed wildly. "Where in the name of Home III did you take us you overgrown imp!!"
"Like I said oh great master Demon Buster, the energy signature was not one I recognized. So uh... Really we could be anywhere.." Neko groaned softly usher head made friends with the table.. Three times. The words "I. Hate. You." could be heard matching each steady thump.

The female gave a soft laugh as the girl and her sword seemed to have a small argument. It wasn't everyday that a person saw a talking sword. Sure she had seen people who hand bonded with their weapons. She was bonded with her own sword. Both of them actually but she didn't have to carry them around with her. As the female watched the two bicker she couldn't help but smile. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind." The female commented about the drink. " That's a pretty nice sword you have there. Seems like it can have a conversation. That's not a common thing. And as far as the realms are concerned. There are many different kinds of people here, especially species. You are human am I correct? There are everything from demons to mermaids here from what I can tell." Sipping from her cup, she frowned when she realized that it was almost gone.
A worker happened to be passing by and she asked them to get her a refill. At first they said no but a sharp pull of their arm finally got her a yes. Smiling lightly, she turned her gaze back on the young girl. "So your sword got you lost? That sucks. I'm afraid I can't exactly help you get out of here though. Wherever here might be. I am not sure where I'm at either." The demoness laughed as she gratefully accepted her new cup of tea. Ah warm and fresh. She really didn't know where she was at either, but she didn't mind. It was king of nice aside from the war going on. Half of this town had been destroyed along with countless others. Who knows what can happen to this place.

Neko gave a heavy sigh, much to Questas' amusement. "Well, Questas here," Neko nodded to the blade. "He was a demon but got sealed in this blade by my mentor. Then when I was of age, my mentor passed him on to me." explained the woman, smirking slightly to herself. Questas huffed slightly. "To be fair I was already fairly weakened, after unleashing the catastrophe of demons on your land!" complained the old blade, to which it earned another swift kick. "Yeah its your fault Tokyo got destroyed and almost all of mankind with it..." Neko shrugged slightly. "Doesn't matter to me though, heck I was born long after that so really I'm used to it." she shook her head and turned her attention back to the girl. "Yeah, I'm human. I work as a Demon Buster in Tokyo," she explained. "Well, at least I can look at this as a new- wait a sec.." she stared at the girl oddly. "Mermaids? Seriously? Man talk about diverse." She took a big gulp of her drink and sighed.

Carefully the female watched the young girl. A demon buster? That much be similar to a demon hunter. She wasn't quite sure what Tokyo was but from the sound of it Tokyo seemed to be a place. Picking up her cup of tea, she took another slow sip of it. "A demon that got sealed in a sword? Well now I can't believe that a demon would even let themselves be trapped away." The demonness laughed as she set her cup down and leaned back. For looking similar to a sixteen year old, she definitely didn't talk and act like one. "Well to be honest this place is full of things but don't be surprised. The only thing you need to look out for is the powerful ones. Gods and such are the worst. If you don't want to die or be severely injured, I'd recommend avoiding them." The words were just a small note of advice. She wasn't sure what the girls abilities were but from the looks of it this girl might have some difficulties against the strong ones.

Neko paused, her cup inches from her lips. Slowly she set her cup down with a deliberate gentleness, her eyes holding a far off look. "I don't believe in the gods," she stated calmly, stirring the empty cup thoughtfully. "If there was ever any gods, I have seen no proof of their existance." With a small shake of her head Neko covered her expression with a fake smile. "Anyways..." She stood and stretched. "I don't think I'm going to get many answers here.. no offense. I'm going to take a look around the town... Thankyou again for the drink." She gave a slight wave to the girl, hoisting the blade over her shoulder and looking about before starting towards the door.
