Luca Valentine pronounced dead.
Tori Jacobs was walking down the streets of Moon Valley as the sun began to set and create another beautiful night in the small mountain town. The redhead took another lick of her chocolate ice cream as she thought about the latest news of their late mayor. She was such an inspiration and mentor to so many people it was hard to believe she was really gone forever. A tragedy. What got Tori even more was the way she died. Nobody was saying how she died. There was no body to be found. All that was said in the news was that she passed away. That cast plenty of suspicious on Tori’s mind and being the curious girl she was with a dream of one day becoming a detective the mystery was too great a thing to pass up.
Her thoughts however would be interrupted as she bumped into a man down the street. The man looked to be old, his skin slowly rotting away as he let out a groan to the girl who had bumped into him. Tori opened her mouth to apologize when she heard something hit the ground. It was the man’s arm. It had fallen from his body and now began to move towards Tori as she dropped her ice cream and began to back away.
“A-A-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”
Tori screamed at the top of her lungs and spun around making a run for it as the male dragged his feet following slowly behind the much faster redhead. Over the horizon where the sun began to set more men came for Moon Valley. Each dragging their feet, arms pointed forward and groaning as they sniffed the air. Anyone who knew anything about the supernatural would recognize them right away.
An army of undead came for the small mountain town.

"HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!"
Body parts went flying in different directions, some skidding across the ground while others went crashing through unfortunate windows. Many screams and shouts were heard when more citizens realized that there were more undead swarming in. Did they hunger for flesh? Or worse, what if they came here for the shiny things?!
Sasha wouldn't let that happen. Come hell or high water no one takes the precious shiny things that were meant for her!
The scene itself was gruesome and even more so when she came flying out with arms in the likeness of swords. Heads rolled down the street but that didn't seem to lessen the slow-moving army.
"And I look..." Sasha struck a pose but it was difficult to take it seriously since coagulating blood covered her, "...fab-u-lous!! Who you gonna call?!" The shapeshifter hoisted her arms into the air, "ZOMBIE-SLAYERS!"

The feet that dragged across the ground ran into a sudden eruption as the very foundation of the ground beneath them shook destroying the undead beast that roamed the streets. What was left of the menace fell back into his zombie brethren as they all fell to the ground from the blast before them. The one responsible for that very blast watched from above on one of the nearby rooftops, clad in pink with white bandages over her eyes as long brown hair blew in the gentle breeze as the sun said goodbye to the quiet, would-be peaceful little mountain town. The foul smell of undead was inhaled into the nostrils of The Blind Assassin as she hissed.
"Zombies."
The lowest of the low. There was nothing worse than being a mindless creature that longed for human flesh until someone was kind enough to put them out of their misery. The Blind Assassin jumped down from the rooftop and landed on her feet firmly against the pavement. She heard the panic screams and loud footsteps of the redhead native of the town as Fukari was quick to grab and cover her with her own body as the zombie chasing her would run into another pre-set trap in the form of a claymore mine as The Blind Assassin shielded Tori from the blast and the sight of body parts being blown apart. The undead wasn't known for being well put together. In the aftermath of the blast The Blind Assassin released her grip on the frightened girl and looked at her.
"Watch where you step."

Tori released an even louder scream when she was grabbed by a woman she didn’t recognize. Those screams were silenced by the explosion that went off back from the direction she came. When the stranger released her Tori took in every detail of the woman; the brown hair, the bandages covering her eyes, the emotionless facial features and the pink clothes. After the woman spoke Tori took a step back and then opened her mouth to speak.
“Are you crazy!? Was that you? Was you the one who set that explosive there? Don’t you realize that I could have stepped on it!? When did you even find the time to set that there in the first place and what are you doing messing with dangerous explosives when you have bandages over your eyes!?”
Tori questions came to a screeching halt as she saw a body part past them by. Her emerald green eyes then went over to see a short blond with arms that looked like swords and covered in blood not very far at all from their position and the slow moving zombies that still came this way up on the horizon. Tori didn’t know which was more disturbing the zombies or the girl. Not knowing what else to do Tori gave into her urges, turned her head and threw up on the ground near Fukari’s feet.

"Who you gonna call? Who you gonna caaaaaaaaaaall?! Sashaaaaaaaa!"
Shortly after the blonde's confident outburst, more bodies were torn to shreds by her arms and all in the name of her precious shinies. It wouldn't be so disturbing had it not been for her maniacal cackle and determined visage. Problem is soon as she began her onslaught, more zombies took the place of those who have fallen. What if she were to get bitten and become one? Or worse, what if she was killed and eaten! Even worse: she loses interest in shinies!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
Sasha broke into a sprint and raced away from the hungry creatures, flailing her arms and went past the two women who she didn't even notice. Self preservation! Death before dishonor! No one will take her interest in shiny objects! Ever!
Frightened at this prospect, she zipped up a flag pole, hugged it tightly and stared down at the ones that followed her.

Fukari had no interest in answering the girl's questions as there was still things to be done tonight. Those zombies weren't going to kill themselves, as amusing as that would be to The Blind Assassin. She took a step back as the little girl began to vomit no doubt after seeing the mess left behind by the undead. Many people didn't know it but the visual that came to your mind when you could only hear and smell the vomit was worse than the actual visual itself. Turning her back on the girl she merely said, "I repeat, watch where you step."
The Blind Assassin sprunt towards the undead and drew her katana beginning to cut down the zombies that had followed the cowering blond and paying no heed to the amounts of blood that surrounded her path of destruction. The smell of blood was something she has grown used to a long, long time ago. By the looks of things Fukari would have to play the role of the "one woman army" as nobody else seemed competent enough to fight. The Blind Assassin honestly preferred it that way. It's why she worked alone. You couldn't rely on anyone but yourself.

Tori wiped her mouth off with her sleeve. All those days spent reading the “Zombie’s Survivor Guide” but never before had she thought that one day she would need to take it seriously. The redhead was trying to quickly remember what made a good stronghold against zombies. The hospital would be the worst place to go, one person’s home could only hold so many people, she thought about Luca’s mansion for a moment until it finally hit her.
“The school!”
The school had the strongest walls and would work as a stronghold to keep the citizens safe. The only trouble was getting the people there and avoiding those traps set by the woman in pink. Tori had a feeling she wasn’t going to be willing to share their placements either so she was on her own in that regards. How was she going to reach Moon Valley High when she didn’t even trust the very ground she walked on? Then she had an idea. Tori ran into a nearby store and grabbed a broomstick. Yes. A broomstick.
“I’ll give this back I promise!”
Watching her step Tori ran out and to the side of the pink woman and started whacking the zombies she missed on the head with the broomstick, making her way to the flagpole the scared blond was on and looked up towards her.
“Hey! Hey I need your help this way!”
Tori shouted and then ran across the street away from the remaining zombies which would be too busy with Fukari to follow Sasha should she follow Tori.

"You'll never take my shinies alive!" Sasha screamed. The terrified child remained on the pole, hugged it tightly and whimpered whenever it moved from the zombie's efforts to get her. Sasha was too high up in the air for any of them to climb and it may take too much time to get her down from there. Still, she was scared out of her wits until someone shouted at her from below.
Sasha pried one of her pink eyes open and dared herself to look down at the red head swinging a broom at the zombies. Most of the hungry critters were after Fukari, that chick with bandages over her face, so it should be safe to come down now. The group that was determined to pursue her had decided to go after Fukari.
"Okeee! I'm coming!"
Sasha slid down, hopped off it and ran to join Tori.
"So what's the plan? We gonna clean up this town literally? Or whack 'em until they go splat?!" Sasha raised her fists, hopped in place and threw weak punches at the air.

Ira stood silently watching from one of the rooftops, a drink held in one hand; nothing more than water. She strolled along the rooftop, hopping to another whenever she reached to edge of one. If nothing else, it looked like she was just pacing a long route along the rooftops, pacing like a large cat with powerful yet graceful steps.
An explosion? That was a new way to handle reanimated bodies; it was something she had seen before but had decided not to waste the effort to learn how to do with the Force; it just wasn't her style.
And then there was that annoying girl atop a flag pole? What the hell? Really? Yelling so confidently before cowering? She growled in annoyance. No. That was not how it was done. Ira continued along the rooftops, following after Sasha and Tori. Something about a school? Oh well. She simply followed to hopefully watch the once over confident Sasha possibly be ripped apart by the reanimated bodies. Probably would provide a few laughs at the very least.

The scared blond had came down from the flagpole and was now in front of the redhead. Tori was glad as she originally feared it would take more to convince the girl to come down. It looked like the lady clad in pink was proving herself as a useful distraction as the current group of nearby zombies went for her. But Tori could still see even more zombies slowly making their way to their positions up ahead. Time was of the essence and Tori hoped that this blond could help with the situation.
“Your arms. Earlier I saw them look sword-like. How did you do that and would you be able to change into anything that could say, withstand powerful explosions?”

Well, this looked like a very serious situation --as if the deal with the zombies wasn't bad enough--so Sasha decided to calm down enough to pay attention. Where there's bombs, there's lots of injuries and possibly more zombies if people die from the aftermath. Sasha wiggled her arms to get some of the sticky substance off them and replied to Tori's question.
"I'm a shape shifter! I can transform into just about anything except machinery. It's too complex. But, I can turn into something else that's basic and protect anyone from an explosion. Just depends on the type."
This blood wasn't coming off anytime soon. Sasha wasn't happy about losing another pretty dress but there were other matters to attend to other than fashion.
"What kind of bomb are you using?"

One by one they all fell. Their bodies falling apart and the overwhelming smell of death lingered through the air as her demon half was getting excitement from it all meanwhile her human side was becoming disgusted. Her nose kept track of Tori and Sasha while also picking up the scent of a new arrival but paying no mind to them as she found the zombies hoard more of a threat. Until Fukari superior hearing picked up on what Tori wanted to do with her traps however. The Blind Assassin sent a shuriken flying pass Tori's ear to serve as a warning to the girl before she shouted out, "Don't mess with the traps!"

“They aren’t mine but judging by the blast I heard earlier I think it’s some kind of landmine. Is there anything you can change into that could withstand setting them off so I can lure the people here to the school without worry about stepping on them?”
Tori felt the wind blow by her ear as the shuriken went past. The redhead turned her attention back to Fukari and held onto her ear, it wasn’t damaged but had that shuriken been just a few inches closer Tori’s ear could have been gone. How in the world did that woman even hear them from all the way over there? It’s not like they were talking very loudly.
“You see? That’s the kind of thing I’m talking about. You’re out of your mind! If you really want to help us you’ll tell me where you set the landmines so I can get the people to safety without the worry of setting them off on the way!”

"Already on it!"
Sasha spun around and her hair shot over Fukari's zombie-fest, taking on the form of a yellow bridge, and it split apart in numerous directions to where survivors might be. The material was stable, firm and people could easily run over this in groups--too much weight may spell disaster for the small changling.
"Go ahead and run over! I'll keep it up no matter what!"
The determined shapeshifter saluted Tori, clenched her fists and stared around with a serious look that could easily be taken as comical. It was as focused as she was going to get in this.

Shapeshifter and an unusual one at that. The Blind Assassin could hear the bridge forming overhead as she resheath her blade. Good it looked like the Shapeshifter thought of a solution for both parties problems. Before Fukari would move her attention back to the smell of rotting reanimated corpses she looked back at Tori.
"Who said I'm in this for you?"
Fukari became nothing but a pink blur as she burst forward and lunged into the zombie hoards. The sound of explosion after explosion of slashes rang through the air for all to hear as her pink clothes were dyed red with blood and body parts could be seen flying in the distance near the east exit of the town.
