" I'm sure, that's the only subject we agree upon." He became a blur a dash forward before disappearing into a trick up and unleashing an aerial rave towards Sparda's crown.

Sparda's eyes narrowed as his adversary came at him with a swift Aerial Rave. Revelation and Imperium clashed once more, the Dark Knight matching his counterpart blow for blow and sending shrill metallic echoes down into the city. Once in a while, the violet-clad demon's eyes would flicker briefly to the colossal demon who had manifested in the central city, a titan-class at the very least.
"You didn't..."
At the last moment, Sparda found his opening. He stepped into a seemingly awkward parry that caught Imperium's blade and drove it harmlessly upwards, then spun on his heel into a 360 degree rotation and brought Revelation with him, spinning into a fierce horizontal swing aiming to bisect his foe. He needed to end this quickly so he could focus on bringing that titan down.

As the parry came and knocked the sword upward. Sparda distanced himself just enough and turned the momentum of the parry used against him to rotate his arm in a wide circle before knocking away the opposite's attack with a diagonal prop shredder that caught the Revelation and propelled it backwards, edge first towards his opponent's face.

Sparda was quick to sidestep into his evasion, leaning out of the way of his blade, over which he briefly lost control in the wake of his opponent's defensive Prop Shredder. The speed of his movement flung his monocle chain outwards and saw it severed about halfway by Revelation's keen edge, the empty frame tumbling to the ground.
In that same movement, the Dark Knight raised his free left hand, fist clenched tightly. He unloaded with a brutal punch aimed at the right side of his foe's face, his arm a barely decipherable blur and his strike packing the force of a tank shell.

To most it would've been a blur but it still held the piercing presence of a jab. Sparda ended up leaning in with his right shoulder, bending at the waste and slipping his opponent's punch. A strong, deep step forward put him off to the side slightly behind Sparda's shoulder out of the range of an elbow while putting his opponent right in an unblock-able range for a cleaving, reverse hand swing towards his opponent's mid section with Imperium.

He'd committed too much to that punch, and now his opposite number was in an ideal position and throwing his counterattack. Dammit, no time to get away! He turned just enough to see the incoming blade, and snarled with anger. The infamous weapon found its mark, catching his lower back and cleaving his lower torso straight off.
The Dark Knight bit back his howl of pain - just in time to disappear in a plume of black smoke. In that same moment, there came the faintest whoosh of air from behind his foe, and Revelation would be plunged through his chest from the rear, ripping apart his heart, if he wasn't quick enough to dodge.
The real Dark Knight, translocated back into the fight in place of his fallen, disguised familiar, smirked.
"If Clash were here, he'd be saying, 'stop hitting yourself.'"

Sparda didn't say anything, a doppelganger... nothing more, which meant he needed to be on guard. His opponent's counter attack came all too sooner than expected. He shifted his weight and skipped forward a bit as the revelation pierced the tail of his royal purple coat. A strict ripping sound accompanied Sparda's movement as the coat ripped as the razor sharp blade carved through the coat. Sparda twisted his heels shifting his body weight in what a fighter would best describe as a spinning back-fist. But unlike the unarmed version, Sparda tossed Imperium at the last moment into his opposite hand and twisted his body all the way around and came over head with a devastating helm breaker.

He was more focused now, more certain of the caliber of opponent he was facing. With total command of his momentum, the Dark Knight pulled backwards out of his Stinger, holding Revelation over his at a diagonal to meet the vicious Helm Breaker and shunt it sideways, bringing his weapon down to his side.
In that motion, he reversed his grip on the weapon, another plume of violet flames erupting across the blade. With a snarl, the demon pulled his arm forward again and unleashed another violent Drive at his foe's chest, leading into a mid-air Dance Macabre to rend him to pieces.

He slid back and extended his free hand, preforming a royal block which dissipated the driver launch at him before taking a deep step, lunging forward with a million stab which he pointed at an upward angel and used the technique to block each swing of the sword with each precise stab. Once the aerial attack was completed, the black grew dark and became black as Sparda unleashed a harsh overdrive at his mid-air foe.

Dammit, countered again. He might've been able to finish this if that Stinger had hit, but his counterpart had reacted just quickly enough.
The Dark Knight's scowl grew still darker as he kept up his strong swings against his foe's parrying, and when he saw the Overdrive coming, decided just to let it slip. Imperium's blade would meet nothing but thin air as Sparda threw himself clear with an Air Trick, answering with a trio of quick and powerful Drives from his opponent's lower left side as he dashed around, looking for a better position.

This was certainly fun... not since Mundus had he had such a challenging fight. But as the Drivers came towards him, his reaction was quick, a prop shredder with the flat of the blade facing towards his opponent's attack. As the waves of energy came quicker towards him a huge twister driver was unleashed from his blade, absorbing and assimilating Sparda's attacks and using them as a homing beacon as the twister started barreling towards Sparda's Enemy.

Trying to turn his own Drives against him? Poor choice. Just before the mighty twister would reach him, Sparda flicked his free hand and opened another pair of portals, one in front of him and another beneath his opponent. Just as the tornado of energy came through, he willed his own Drives to detonate, the twister funnelling their explosive force into a great blast of energy directed straight up at his enemy from beneath.

It was a poor choice for his opponent as he was suddenly in front of his opposite in a blink of an eye before the portal opened, setting this Sparda up for the trap. The driver came and ripped him apart, the raw energy twister atomizing him. But there was a light chuckle as the real Sparda stood outside of the twister now coming back into sight. " Are having fun yet?" He knew far too well he himself wouldn't be so easily dropped by such a simple move... now he'd just have to wait.

A doppelganger? Of course. He might've known his familiars wouldn't give him that edge of being able to substitute himself. He was quick to trick backwards, away from the searing twister as it exploded.
"I would, perhaps," he sneered in response, "If it weren't for this backdrop..."

He pointed towards the sword and gave a typical, 'not my fault shrug'. It wasn't long before Sparda shot forward into a vicious stringer. But just as it was about to connect he tricked above his foe, releasing a high powered million stab, from his vantage point there was less chance of escape.
