Rebel Scum

[Ira]

As soon as Kira took hold of the lightsaber, the blade seemed to circuit out.

"Sorry, it doesn't like too many people," Ira commented, silently thankful that she had taken the time to actually put a bit of herself into the pearl of the saber to prepare it so long ago - even having cleansed it of Mobius' touch, tuning it so it would obey her and her alone. As she stepped forward there was a flick of her wrist and a loud hiss followed; a single bullet burnt to nothing by the black blade, ultimately allowing her to keep her saber in her hand though one bullet found its way to her shoulder. Again, it did not pierce the skin, nor did it shatter the barrier around her body. The bullet fell to the ground.

And finally, she dashed forward towards Kira, moving to close the distance ready to simply finish this with her favored saber form; Makashi. When she moved in close enough, she took another step forward though it turned into an elongated lunge, with the thrust of her blade forward. As odd as one might find the stance, it was one of the most comfortable and preferred ones of the Sith.

Kira had to admit it was a tad disappointing as the lightsaber gave way, but he had a suspicion that she would be more proficient wielding it then he would, but the plan had never been to use it in the first place. No, it had been however to keep her number of weapons down. Kira was in a tight spot now. As she started forward he stared at the lightsaber in his head for a moment. He silently recalled how Revan had put that one lightsaber together. This was going to cause him to be much closer then he cared for.

As she charged forward he was ready for her as the stab came he hit the ground rolling firing, not one, but two shots at her lightsaber. He had no intention on knocking it from her hands. Quite the contrary, he aimed to cause it to fall apart from its own weak points. The last shot in his click he fired from almost point blank range as Ira looking for a clean cut through again. Hopefully something that would keep her from fighting. No matter how good bullet proof armor get close enough and it’d probably fail, but then again of course she wasn’t wearing any armor so who knew the limits of what hers could do. After the last shot carried him away from her, but one thing was for sure no matter the outcome. He needed a new clip. He took the time to let his old one fall quickly reloading it and having it out all by the time he landed back.

The blade emitter shroud dented ever so slightly as one of the bullets hit the white metal of her hilt, though no damage was done to interrupt the blade's path. Her saber hilts had withstood blaster fire due to materials she had used to make it; alusteel from ships - how could these pieces of metal hope to compare? The second hit the back of the hilt, upon impact she loosened her wrist and let the hilt tilt in her hand, allowing the end of the blade to tip down towards the ground. Her grip returned though in a matter of seconds.

At the time of his his shot being fired, there was another sharp tug on the Force, and the presence of the Dark Side was again announced as white electricity once again danced down her right arm before arching through the air towards Kira once again. The impact of the bullet knocked the wind from her momentarily and she felt the crack forming in the barrier. No matter, this boy would learn to fear the power she controlled as she still kept her focus enough to still send the Force Lightning towards her target.

He took note of the dent he had done in the lightsaber, which any luck if he break that peace off or cause it to dent more it might make the saber useable. He silently cursed his luck as she saw the lightening again. This time there were no buildings for cover. Plan B. he thought pulling out a grenade dropping it on the ground shooting it at the last second. The reason soon became obvious as the earth showered out of the ground cluttering the air blocking the lightening as Kira’s shoot through four shots. Two aimed at the lightsaber and two aimed at Ira from memory of where she was quickly moving away from the spot trying to head for cover.

As soon as she saw the grenade hit the ground, Ira dropped her hand, ceasing to create the electricity. His cover would become her cover, as soon as the grenade burst, Ira was already on the move. Bullets flew threw the air, though their intended targets were not struck - they simply kept going. What or who they hit mattered not to her. Unlike he though, she was able to clearly see him - through the Force.

From the settling dust, caught in the wind which she easily manipulated gently with the Force, Ira emerged, a couple of to the side of where she once stood and now practically atop of Kira. She pulled on the Force, the wind shifting dramatically as she did so and she reached once more to focus it around his throat while bringing her saber upwards on a diagonal from her left across to the right.

Kira had never stopped moving, but when the smoke disappeared he barely had time to move back, but not fast enough as it swiped across his chest drwaing a little more blood moving up threatenting to continue on, until it met the hilt of her own lightsaber and stopped. Kira didn't question it as he wasted no in taking aim unloading as many shots as possible splitting them between her sword tiring to disrupt the flow of energy from it and at her personal trying to get some shots through. He didn't need to kill her, he didn't think he could. He just needed to stop her from pursuing him. It was then that he suddenly felt his breath catch. Not long left it seemed. Two shots left before a reload. Things were beginning to look even worse as he quickly tried to add a bit more space between them.

As he brought his gun up to aim, Ira pulled back on her saber; that weapon was pesky. However, as he divided the shots up, each one which hit the blade of her saber, simply melted. Two hit her, the barrier around her body cracking and falling apart. To those who could see the Force, it would seem as if glass has broken around her.

She broke her stun on his vocal folds. She was done toying around. Instead, the spinal cord became the focus of the Stun now, it starting near the top before expanding down the entire spinal cord. If it took, it would be all she needed here and she would release the grip which she had on him through the Force; after all, it would leave him paralyzed if it took.

As Kira resumed putting space between them he slowly felt his own energy fading. He knew he didn't have long. One last gamble. He weakly fired off the last two shots seeing glass fall off of her? He stumbled, but he wasn't afraid he was at peace. He tried to remember everything Kissira had taught him slowly reaching out to try to feel the force as his vision started to blur. And then on instinct it pushed out aiming to push Ira away and with any luck surprise her enough to release the grip she had on his throat and her force stun if not he wouldn't last too much longer.

Ira dropped her saber downwards, catching one bullet with the blade of her saber in hand once again, melting the bullet. The second bullet buried its way into her arm though and a loud pained growl could be heard coming from her. However, as she tensed with the bullet tearing through muscles of her arm the Dark Side's power from Ira became a bit stronger. Her grip on his throat loosened with his own push, however at the moment she was too caught in the moment to be surprised at the Force being used to break her hold. And the surge from her only empowered her attempt to drive all feeling and electrical signals from the spine still.

Her grip on her saber remained still. The bullet had torn clean through her bicep, nicking the bone though not harming any ligaments or tendons; despite the pain - which she savored honestly - she could still use her arm.

Kira was able to breathe again, but it was all for not as he felt that slow sinking feeling. He started to try his best to stop it, but the best he could manage was to slow it down. She had much more experience in this then he did. He managed to change the clips again using a Force stun on her this time. Not focused like hers, but rather it was a general effort this time. He fired off a few more bullets trying to get her to withdraw, but with each bullet that it it only seemed to fuel her own power. Her own desire to continue the fight. To inflict more pain.

He actually thought he could stop her?The energy which he reached out with to attempt to stun her was quickly gathered in the same manner which the explosion from the grenade had been and easily turned back towards him. As he fired at her though, Ira turned slightly, protecting herself as best she could from any vital organs from being hit by his shots, instead allowing them to hit her arm. It was this pain and suffering which she sought - which ANY decent Sith sought, let it be their own or not. These were the factors which made the Dark Side so empowering. And in this case, the air practically crackled with Dark Side energies. Still, she fought to take control and remove all feeling from his spine to leave him paralyzed.

Kira watched as she turned the Force Stun back on him, but there was no time to react as literally it hadn't even gone a few feet, and so it landed back on him causing him to lose control as his body suddenly went numb. Not good enough. He close his eyes and waited. He knew that destire in her and knew what she wanted. So it all came down to this it looked like. At the very least he had given the rest of the Resistance some kind of advance warning. Looks like he wouldn't be helping Kissira with her ship after all.

Ira stepped forward, the tip of the black blade drawing close to Kira. However, she turned it off before putting the blade through his head like part of her wanted to do. The hunter in her wanted it to end. But the hunger calling for pain and suffering was so much stronger than the will of the hunter. She clipped her lightsaber onto her hip as well as the second one, before bending down and using her right arm to attempt to collect his body. With help from the Force, she managed to pick him up and sling him over her shoulder. As she walked away, Ira called her the black hilt back to her hand. Simply disappearing down another alleyway, Kira being carried along the way.

[Saasha]

Kissira materialized from the darkness outside of the city, a cold malice in her eyes. She uttered no words, only a single thought as the grasses at her feet begin to burn from the inside out. The feeling of dread and anguish fill the area and seep into the city as she approached. Her lips part to release only a snarl and a singular word, her eyes glowing with a pure and unbridled hatred. "Ira..."

But quickly she curbed it, completely masking her presence and made her way towards the single pulse of Force. Pulling the snipers from their posts as they shot at her. She didn't have time to squabble.

Kira could only watch as she walked closer to him. No, it couldn't end like this. He didn't want it like this. There were still too many people he needed to protect. Too many people that depended on him. His mind quickly thought back. He had hoped he'd never have to do this, but he quickly thought praying that this would work. If ever he needed a time for it to work it was now. Raal, if you're there I could really use some help right now. he thought to himself and hopefully Raal. However it was that he had said he'd be able to come and help them.
