Physical Appearance:
Special Abilities:
- Built for Combat: Zero was, even from the original drafts and plans used to create him, designed for only one purpose: to fight. Specifically, to fight and destroy one single person. To that end, he is literally a masterpiece of engineering, created using technology and know-how that far surpassed anything else that would be built for hundreds of years, with his creation rivalling even the genius and robotics expertise of Megaman X, the robot ceated by Thomas Light.
- Superhuman Strength: Zero's physical strength was superior to nigh any foe he faced. Evne Sigma, who was considered the most powerful Reploid to be created based upon X's design, could not match Zero in a direct contest of physical strength. Zero's physical power enabled him to sweep aside massive chunks of rubble and debris effortlessly, toss aside all manner of vehicles as if they were virtually weightless, punch through nearly any obstacle with minimal effort, and overpower virtually any foe he fought. His great strength also gave him great leaping abilities, allowing him to clear skyscrapers with a single leap and cover well over a mile with a running leap.
- Superhuman Speed: Zero's speed was such that, when actively exerting himself in battle, the equivalent of a light jog for him would carry him along at speeds nearing a hundred miles per hour. When pushing himself, Zero could achieve sprinting speeds faster than human eyes could track. He is also capable of utilizing a "dash" function and putting on a short burst of speed so intense he actually trails after-images and streaks of energy in his wake. At its most potent, this dash can cover distances of up to twenty meters, and moves with such celerity as to all but teleport.
- Superhuman Reflexes: Zero's reflexes are as amazing to behold as his strength and speed. He can respond to physical attacks from foes as fast as himself, and even faster, respond with split-second timing to avoid all manner of rubble and debris from explosions, and act fast enough to cut plasma bolts and other projectiles from the air with his Z-Saber.
- Superhuman Agility: Zero possessed a great deal of agility and control of his body. He could execute flips and swift rolls and the like whilst airborne with no difficulty, and could perform such feats as running up or along walls for several seconds at a time even from a standing start. He could cling to a surface and slowly slide down it, and from this vantage point he could kick off of the wall, repeating this as many times as necessary or until he ran out of wall. He also displayed remarkable feats of balance and general coordination, capable of maintaining his equilibrium even when suspended upside-down or otherwise off-center, and could perch on any surface that could support his weight, no matter its size or the seeming improbability of doing so.
- Superhuman Durability: Zero's construction was exceedingly durable and powerful. It was built to stand up to all manner of punishment, both in and out of battle, and so far very few things have been able to cause a great deal of damage to him. Most common types of damage, including great temperatures and typical blunt impacts such as from melee combat do next to nothing. Only very powerful physical blows, such as from foes even more superhumanly strong than he is himself, are capable of doing much more than staggering or knocking him about. Most all calibers of firearms serve to do nothing but irritate him as t hey bounce off of his armored body. Even powerful explosions, energy blasts and the like only cause superficial damage at best. He is not invulnerable, a far cry from it, but inflicting any lasting damage is certainly a feat.
- Superhuman Endurance: In addition to his great durability and resistance to damage, Zero is also remarkably hard to actually put down. In most cases, lopping off a limb or two would likely be a death sentence. For Zero...it's barely even a hindrance. He can keep right on fighting in most cases even with entire limbs missing and holes blasted in his body. So long as his head and energy core remain mostly intact, Zero can survive virtually anything. Combine this with an advanced damage assessment and self-repair system, and it's not so far-fetched to say that Zero is all but indestructible.
- Superhuman Stamina: Zero is a war machine -- literally. He is tireless in battle, possessing a literally inexhaustible level of physical stamina. So long as he is not so dismantled or destroyed as to be unable to fight, and his core remains undamaged, he can fight indefinitely.
- Superhuman Senses: Zero's senses are many times more refined and acute than those of a human. When combined with the number of extra sensors and relays he has internalized, it is very difficult to evade him if he is earnestly searching for something.
- Limitless Potential: Very much like his "rival", Megaman X, Zero was built with a potential for limitless power. In theory, this would allow him to rise to any challenge and eventually defeat any foe, no matter the strength set before him, and it has manifested many times in his past, allowing him to return even from the brink of death and even complete destruction on more than one occasion, stronger than ever before.
- Constant Power Growth: To compound his limitless potential, Zero's strength is constantly increasing and growing. Every victory; every defeat; every day of battle; every strike landed or deflected; every technique learned. It all adds to his already great strength, pushing his power ever onward and ever higher. Even his many defeats and "deaths" have made him stronger, as he has returned from each even more powerful than before by leaps and bounds.
- Combat Ability: Zero was the single most skilled fighter among the Maverick Hunters, and possibly among the entirety of his own dimension's Earth. He used no distinctive style save his own, but his application was unquestionably effective. Depending who you would ask, some might say Zero was "a monster on the battlefield", that "the grace of his attacks was like no other", perhaps "his attacks were savage and terrible", or even "I'm just glad I'm not his enemy". Many have praised and feared his skill with the weapon that has become his trademark, the Z-Saber, but the most frightening aspect of his skill with his signature blade is that he was originally designed as a hand to hand combat specialist. The few who have seen his skill in the martial arts and with hand to hand fighting refuse to speak of it, only saying that it was unlike anything they've ever seen. Of other curious note is that Zero seems to display a remarkable level of skill with any weapon he picks up, often showcasing a master's level of skill and precision with it within mere seconds of taking it up to wield.
- Learning System: Perhaps the single most dangerous aspect of Zero's entire combat repretoire. Much like his rival and friend, Megaman X's Variable Weapon System, Zero possess his own Learning System. When in combat, any technique or attack Zero witnesses is instantly broken down, analyzed, and stored within his memory. After merely witnessing an attack once, Zero can devise a means to avoid, counter, or entirely nullify it in some cases within mere seconds, and within a handful more seconds, he will be capable of replicating the technique himself with near perfect accuracy. To make matters more frightening, it is put in prespective when he witnesses an attack only once and perfectly counters it every time it is used afterward and immediately turns the attack on its original user within the space of a minute.
- Combat Arts: Over his many years of combat, Zero has assimilated a great number of abilities and attacks into his combat repretoire from his opponents, and makes frequent use of them in addition to his regular combat skills.
- Fish Fang: A quick swipe of Zero's saber releases two missiles shaped like fish. While a silly design, they have advanced homing capabilities and pack a great punch upon impact.
- Tri-Thunder: Zero punches the ground, summoning up several balls of lightning which erupt from the ground.
- Fire Wave: A stream of flames launched from Zero's buster.
- Lightning: Several lightning strikes which rain down in Zero's immediate area.

- Shippuu: Zero dashes forward as if he is about to use Shipuuga, but stops completely, releasing a shadoy after-image to strike his target with the power of wind.
- Danchien: Zero drops on his foe with his blade a massive pillar of fire which explodes upon impact.
- Sougenmu: Zero creates an illusory double which lasts for a handful of minutes and perfectly mimics his movements and attacks, effectively doubling his attacks and danger for the time it lasts.
- Yammar Option: Zero summons three robotic dragonflies to hover around him. They provide moderate protection from projectile attacks, and fire projectiles in time with Zero's attacks.
- Sentsuizan: While performing an air dash, Zero performs a spinning slash that strikes with such devastating power it shakes the very earth.
- Shoenzan: Zero performs an upward slash, trailing flames and releasing a wall of flame up and forward.

- Ensuizan: Zero performs a spinning slash fueled by the power of water.
- Rakukojin: Zero performs a falling thrust with his blade a massive slab of metal. Upon impact, it explodes and releases a pair of bouncing anchor-shaped bombs.
- Guard Shell: Zero creates an energy shield before him. It reflects weaker projectiles and nullifies stronger ones, and at least lessens the impact and damage of very powerful attacks.
- Rekkoha: Zero punches the ground, causing powerful beams of light to rain down from the sky in his general area.
- Raijinshou: Zero performs a spinning uppercut slash which creates an electric tornado around him.
- Suiretsusen: Zero thrusts the D-Glaive forward, releasing a powerful spear of water.
- Bakuenjin: Zero punches the ground, causing an extremely powerful explosion of fire.
- Zankourin: Zero slashes along the ground, releasing a powerful "buzzsaw" of light energy.
- Hieijin: Zero slashes his saber, releasing a homing missile of dark energy.
- Souenbu: Zero slashes with the V-Hangar, releasing a boomerang with the power of wind.
- Hadangeki: Zero slashes with the Z-Saber, releasing a powerful wave of energy forward.
- Gokumonken: Zero assumes a defensive stance, creating an oscillating green aura around him. Projectile attacks will be reflected or nullified, and any physical attack landed on him will be blocked or parried and instantly countered.
- Youdantotsu: Zero performs a quick thrust forward imbued with the power of wood. The piercing nature of the attack shatters most defensive barriers.
- Tenshouha: Zero punches the ground, summoning a massive pillar of light energy to explode around him.
- Rasetsusen: Zero performs a powerful rolling slash similar to a buzzsaw imbued with the power of darkness.
- Juuhazan: Zero performs a powerful overhead slash imbued with the power of gravity designed to utterly demolish any guarding techniques of defensive barriers.
- Rekkyodan: Zero's saber is powered up with the might of the earth, turning golden instead of green, and becomes capable of reflecting projectiles.
- Raikousen: Zero performs a swift dash forward, phasing from sight and reappearing several meters forward with a powerful slash. A powerful bolt of lightning will trail through the area he traversed while invisible.
- Hyouryuushou: Zero launches into a spinning uppercut slash imbued with the power of ice while his saber turns briefly blue.
- Enkoujin: With his saber turning red, Zero performs a falling stab while training powerful flames.
- Renyoudan: Zero thrusts several times faster than the eye can track with the D-Glaive. The attack carries powerful piercing properties, capable of breaking most defensive barriers.
- Zekkyoudan: An oscillating aura of faint, pulsing blue lines surrounds Zero while wielding the B-Fan, capable of repelling projectiles away from him.
- Dairettsui: A massive overhand smash with the T-Breaker, utterly shattering any defensive techniques and shaking the very earth.

- Denharei: A spinning, crescent wave of energy fired from Zero's saber, with homing properties.
- Ittou Ryoudan: Genmurei: Zero performs a slow, powerful overhand slash, releasing a massive wave of energy from his sword, capable of cutting nigh anything clean in two with a single blow.
- Genmurei Kai: A weaker version of the above, modified for more frequent usage.
- Fish Fang: A quick swipe of Zero's saber releases two missiles shaped like fish. While a silly design, they have advanced homing capabilities and pack a great punch upon impact.
- Zero Virus: The Zero Virus was the original form of the Maverick Virus. It was supposedly deleted from Zero's system and passed onto Sigma, creating the Maverick Virus as it is known, and later the Sigma Virus. The virus would go on to mutate drastically, eventually becoming the colony Virus when Sigma forced the space colony Eurasia to crash into the Earth. Exposed to this new Colony Virus in addition to the Sigma Virus, Zero absorbed and seemingly assimilated them into his being, but in so doing the original Zero Virus was "reawakened" within his sytem, and made even stronger and more dangerous by the addition of the new, mutated viruses.
The Zero Virus constantly seeps from Zero's body, though in such small quantities as to be inconsequential. In times of great stress, such as intense battle, however, the amount exuded is increased, to levels enough to be noticable and risk potential infection. As Awakened Zero, however, the virus is such a thick cloud around him that it becomes a serious danger in prolonged exposure. Exposure begins to cause problems in machines near instantly, with systems beginning to bring up errors and then fail entirely, and within mere minutes a complete systems failure or complete destruction could occur. In the case of autonomous or self-aware machines, they may go haywire and turn hostile if they wre not already, or become wild and destructive, laying waste to anything and everything around them.
The virus is even powerful enough to affect humans and other organic life in prolonged exposure, causing similar effects to many well-known diseases. Initial synptoms include headaches, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, and extreme mood swings and irritability. Further exposure can lead to humans ando ther life forms developing worse and worse symptoms, being completely bedridden within a weak, and enough exposure can even lead to death by any number of causes, ranging from cardiac arrest, to a literal explosion of any number of blood vessels, or even the brain or heart suddenly ceasing to function. - "Awakened Zero": Whenever Zero undergoes a massive amount of mental trauma, such as when he was nearly destroyed by the sudden explosive out break of the Colony Virus, he will regress into his initial Maverick programming as he was when he was created by Dr. Wily. While in this state, he not only enters a dangerous berserker rage, his power is increased several times over. His very presence was enough to warp and twist reality itself and tear apart the planet with his mere footsteps, and the swings of his Z-Saber when he fought X ripped apart the ground and threatened to tear Earth in two. The power will eventually fade as Zero's sanity returns, but prolonged battle and chaos can prolong the "transformation".
- Zero Nightmare: The Zero Nightmare originally referred to the imperfect copy of Zero that was made following his apparent destruction after his "awakening" and confrontation with X. It was powerful, but not as powerful as even the normal Zero. It now refers to a number of copy entities Zero can summon at will. Each Nightmare is roughly one third of the actual Zero's strength, with their power increasing appropriately should Zero ever "awaken".
- Black Zero: Black Zero is exactly what it sounds like. Zero's armor assumes a black coloration, the only outward sign of the transformation. While so transformed, Zero's offensive capabilities and speed are dramatically increased, by nearly 200%. As a downside to this increase in power, Zero's self-repair systems are rendered offline, meaning it will be much easier to inflict more serious lasting damage, if you can manage to hit him.
- Absolute Zero: Zero's form shifts vastly, becoming much more heavily armored while he proceeds to grow wings. His eyes turn a deep shade of red, and pronounced claws grow from his fingertips. His physical strength and durability increase several times over in this form, as does his general mobility due to his capability for flight. He possesses the capability for short-range teleportation at will, and retains access to his Combat Arts that do not explicitly require a weapon.
Weapons:
- Z-Saber: The weapon Zero is most known for, by far. Usually stored over his shoulder in a sheathe compartment when deactivated. When activated, it produces a blade of destructive plasma-based energy, roughly three feet long, with a pronounced green glow. The blade has proven sufficient to effortlessly shear through nearly anything with a single stroke. Its power source is unknown, but it is self-perpetuating or else of indefinite supply, as it has never once run out of power or malfunctioned in any way.
- D-Glaive: A weapon with two distinct "modes" available to it. In one, it is a short staff of roughly four feet in length, with a foot-long blade of blue energy on either end, shaped similar to the curved end of a scimitar. Its other mode is a much longer staff, of nearly double the length, with a foot and a half long blade of energy on one end. In the former state, it is wielded similarly to a staff, and in the latter, similar to a naginata. In both states it is somewhat less powerful than the Z-Saber due to shorter blades, but usually it is much faster and its greater reach often serves to make up for its lessened power.
- V-Hangar: A pair of short energy daggers. Their blades are less than a foot long, but they are so small and mobile they can be used to rain out a virtually endless, lightning-quick series of blows and strikes, overwhelming all but the most staunch of defenses in mere seconds. While much weaker than the Z-Saber, the sheer speed and number of attacks they deal out more than makes up for that, with their only downfall being their short reach.
- B-Fan: An interesting weapon, composed of a pair of energy "fans". With a reach of just over a foot, they are wielded in a much similar to the V-Hangar, though in a more fluid, defensive style than the offensive one favored by the small daggers. When held at rest, they project a field of energy around Zero which deflects all manner of weaker projectiles
- T-Breaker: A very powerful weapon indeed, it is a massive sledgehammer, nearly as tall as Zero is himself. While much slower than all of his other weapons, it is easily the single most powerful. On either striking head of the hammer is a "sheathe" around the surface that radiates with the same destructive energy as in the blades of all his other weapons, increasing its destructive power yet further. It is capable of literally splitting and shaking the ground when swung, and most foes are reduced to scrap or flattened into dust with but a single blow.
- K-Knuckle: A pair of knuckleduster-type weapons, topped with bands that radiate the same destructive energy as his other weapons. The most diverse weapons he possesses, and one of the most dangerous and unpredictable. Often used in conjunction with another weapon such as the Z-Saber for added threat and power. They allow for terrifyingly swift and powerful martial arts techniques and allow him to make full use of his combat abilities.
- Sigma Blade: The Sigma Blade is the last weapon wielded by Zero's former nemesis, Sigma. It is a massive blade, nearly as long as the D-Glaive's second form. It packs nearly as much power as the T-Breaker, and despite its great size, is virtually weightless, allowing it to be wielded with the same lightning-quickness of the Z-Saber. With all of these potent attributes packed into one weapon, it is an exceedingly powerful, deadly weapon, and one Zero only pulls out when the situation calls for it
