Boos filled the Coliseum as those at attendance called for the woman's head but they were quickly silenced when the God of Light rose to his feet. He stood there quiet for a moment, his eyes meeting that of the demon down below in the Coliseum before his hands came together and he was the first to applaud. The people were confused but followed their god's lead and gave the demon a standing ovation as more of Elysios guards approached the woman and Phalis himself floated down onto the ground by Zira. "That was an impressive turnaround. Not many alive can match my Black Knights blow for blow and then survive after a slaying like that. What is your name?"

A black knight was dead. One of their own was dead and this man was giving this demon a standing ovation? Hekate remained seated in protest. Eyes narrowed and burning holes in the Firebird before finally standing up and leaving the coliseum with two guards to escort her. If Phalis wanted to spend the rest of his day with that woman that was fine. He wouldn't be getting any time or attention from Hekate for a long while after this.

"That was an impressive turnaround. Not many alive can match my Black Knights blow for blow and then survive after a slaying like that. What is your name?"
Zira turned to face the God of Light. Her eyes narrowed and body and mind at the ready for another battle if it was to occur. The guards reluctant to get too close to the Firebird after seeing the display against one of the elite Black Knights in Phalis' court as she parted her lips to respond to the god.
"Zira Firestone and I wish to leave this place without having to take any more lives."

"Of course. My men would be honored to escort you to the palace." Phalis looked to his man who he could already tell was showing signs of intimidation towards the Firebird but nothing compared to what they felt when his gaze met with theirs. It wouldn't do to have his soldiers show fear like this. No matter who they faced. "Aren't you, men?" The guards nodded and quickly hid any signs of fear before standing on either side of Zira to lead her out as the audience continued to boo at the unsatisfactory conclusion of this battle.

"Of course. My men would be honored to escort you to the palace."
The Firebird shook her head and remained where she was refusing to budge. She couldn't read the God of Light's mind but one didn't have to be a telepath with the way Phalis was looking at her. Zira had seen it all before. The eyes so filled of want, desire that it consumes them and plunges them into madness until they can have the thing they lust for. And if they can't have it then no one could.
"I wish to leave this city."

"I'm afraid that is not possible," said Phalis flatly. Unpleased by the woman's refusal to join him in the palace. "You will either join me in the palace or return to the other prisoners in the dungeons. The choice is yours."

"I'm afraid that is not possible. You will either join me in the palace or return to the other prisoners in the dungeons. The choice is yours."
"I choose the third option."
Zira's eyes once again became that of fire as scorching hot flames surrounded her body forcing the guards away as she glared at the God of Light.
"The one where I tell you go to hell!"
The flames erupted, quickly covering the battlefield but not powerful enough to climb up the walls into the stands to kill the people watching. As much as she hated them for enjoying this display she wouldn't kill them. Zira knew the god was unlikely to be killed and didn't give two shits what happened to the guards. Zira took off into the air and began flying away from the coliseum.

At this Phalis could only extend a grin at Zira's words as she attempted to incinerate the rest of her guard. With the snap of a finger he placed a barrier over their Life Force causing the flames not to burn as the guards just stood there enduring like the Black Knights would before lifting up into the air after Zira. "I'm afraid I can't let you do that." The Firebird would feel a strain on her body as Phalis began draining her Life Force as he went after her. Not to a point that could cause death or serious harm, but to bring her to a level of unconscious where she can be sedated.
Zira was too much fun to let leave now.

Zira attempted to fly further out through the air but she felt herself slowly growing weaker as she focused her telekinesis to make her fly. She continued this until she was physically incapable of moving anymore and she fell backward through the air and right into the arms of the God of Light. Too weak to even speak as she looked up at him, a hint of disgust on her face before her eyes closed and she went unconscious.

Phalis caught Zira in her arms and held her bridal style as he floated back down to the ground. Simply smiling in response to her look of disgust before she went unconscious. Phalis admired her as she slept in his arms, turning around and heading back through the exit of the coliseum.
"The show is over. Go home."
He said to the crowd. They didn't dare boo the order of their god as he disappeared through the exit and returned to his palace with the Firebird in hand.
