Praise to Jehova [Chapter XVII]

"Jherrazad preparing for the Demon World's assault. We will intercept and show everyone who the real savior of Genesis is. Take out two birds with one stone."

"I don't understand. What are you suggesting we do?"

"I don't know how I can make my intentions any more clearer, little one."

Jeho walked back over to Miracle, now standing only a couple of feet away from her as he looked down upon her small form. Such a small child but easily the strongest High Priestess and most devoted of his agents. It was hard to see her be so confused and mislead by these Outsiders.

"Is there something troubling you, my child?"

[Miracle]

"It's just... I've been without you for so long. I-I don't know what you want anymore."

Miracle leaned up against Jeho when he got closer to her and wrapped her arms around him, hugging her God in the flesh for the first time in her life as tears fell down from her eyes and across her cheeks.

"I just need to know what it is you want. I don't want to mess up and lose your favor again. I don't want to see my home destroyed for a third time."

Jeho did nothing to stop the child as she wrapped her arms around him in a warm embrace. He held her close and hugged her back as she started to cry in his arms.

"Do not weep, my child."

Jeho lifted up a finger over Miracle's cheek and wiped away the tear on his glove as he looked down upon her.

"There will be time for that later."

"Do not weep, my child. There will be time for that later."

Miracle had no idea what he meant by that. Truth is she didn't want to know. Right now, this second, the High Priestess just wanted one brief moment of complete happiness. One moment of her being in the arms of her creator, her god, and finally knowing what true bliss felt like. The Arashi, the demons, none of them would take this moment away from her. She just closed her eyes and relish in it.
