Location: New Orleans, LouisianaIt was a peaceful night in New Orleans; the stars were out and covered the dark canvas of sky, the moon was shinning down on the streets below, the good people of New Orleans were on their way home and a big ass red dragon was on the attack. Wait a minute... A big ass red dragon is on the attack!

While everyone else fled from the dragon attacking the city, a single child fought her way through the scared crowd with her staff in her right hand and her sword in her left hand. Eyes of violet looked up to the great beast that flew above the city and breathed fire from his mouth. Police came onto the scene but the dragon was too far up to fire upon. They would call reinforcement and Miracle knew if this was anything like Isafaro the army would be on scene but the High Priestess couldn't afford to wait. Standing in the middle of the streets with both her weapons raised, she made herself known to the monster above.
"Oh Lord, give me strength. As you raised your sword up against Leviathan, allow me to raise my sword up against the dragon of the skies and clip his wings so I may strike him down. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen."

This is all started in order to show a child that there was nothing to fear. That was a lie. Laura drove up onto the scene just as panic started to over take the people of the city and the dragon's flames began burning things down. With a co-worker at her side equipped with a tranquilizer gun powerful enough to take down a full grown elephant they could only hope that it would work on this thing. Getting out of the car, Laura looked on in horror as she could see Miracle up ahead trying to get the dragon to attack her. "Keep your eye on the dragon. If it comes down shoot it!"Laura called to her co-worker as she fought her way through the crowd to get to Miracle. "Miracle! Miracle!" |

The dragon knew not of gods or priests and it harbored no discrimination for any of its victims. The great winged beast came down upon the child like it did so many others before it and opened its mouth, also showing no fear for either her or this 'god' she called out to in prayer, releasing a powerful blast of fire towards the child after it flew low enough to get into range.

When the dragon flew down and breathed fire towards the High Priestess, Miracle produced a barrier of holy energy from her staff protecting herself from the fire and giving her the opening she needed to jump up on the dragon's head and thrust her sword into its flesh.

"Miracle!"She was too late and now the child was on top of a living, breathing dragon that could spit out fire. Seeing how low it was to the ground she turned back around to her co-worker and shouted out, "Now!" As he shot the tranquilizer's dart into the dragon's side.

The sword pierced flesh and the dragon let out a terrible noise that could only be described as a scream as it shook it head roughly to throw Miracle off of it and take off back into the sky, but not before taking the dart to the side. A roar of anger left the dragon as it breathed out another wave of fire towards the man that shot it before taking off into the sky. If Miracle hasn't fallen by then she would soon be hanging on for dear life.

Miracle was able to hang on after the dragon try to knock her off but she would lose her holy staff, watching it fall to the crowded streets below as the dragon flew up into the air and resumed its flight. Taking advantage of still being on top of its head, the High Priestess raised up her sword again and drove it into the already opened wound of the beast.

Laura caught Miracle's staff after it fell from the dragon and her eyes grew wide in fear as she saw the dragon attack her co-worker. "Look out!"But it was too late, Laura watched helplessly as her co-worker and friend was burnt to a crisp and dropping the tranquilizer gun. Running over to him, she shed a tear for the man and then took the tranquilizer gun and aimed it up at the dragon waiting for a clear shot to take it down and save Miracle. |

The dragon lowered its head and then jolted it upward with enough strength to send Miracle falling down its back and onto the waving tail now attempting to cause the High Priestess to fall to her death as they soared high above the ground and away from the currently armed Laura. Lighting an in-coming helicopter on fire with its breath before continuing the flight through the city of New Orleans.

Miracle fell down the back of the creature and wrapped her free arm around its tail, keeping her sword held in her other hand and bringing it up to stab just above the tail using it to both inflict damage upon the beast and climb up its back at the same time. Violet eyes watched the helicopter explode and fall down to the streets below as another innocent life would be lost on this night. No more. The High Priestess had to get this thing out of the air and now. Climbing up to the back of its wings she did exactly what she prayed about earlier.
Clipped its wings.

Just her luck, the dragon was remaining in the air with Miracle and moving away from her position. Laura went to chase after it but would suddenly find herself blocked by several police officers telling her to fall back. "No, you don't understand the dragon has my-!"She almost said child without it meant as a blatant lie. Laura was surprised at herself but before she could rebound and keep protesting the police were already pushing her back removing the weapons from her hand. |

The dragon's wings were massive in size and Miracle would need more time to cut them than the dragon would be willing to give her as it flew up and around, now flying through the air upside down as the wind in the air blew against them harder making it more difficult for the High Priestess to hang on as the creature looked towards gravity to do the rest.

The High Priestess quickly grabbed onto the spikes upon the dragon's back for leverage, hanging on as the dragon flew upside down in the air. Still the child of God showed no fear as she braced the harsh winds up above and repeatedly thrust her sword into the back of the dragon.

Laura let out a scream when she saw Miracle hanging on as the dragon flew upside down causing her to push down one of the police officers and taking her weapons back. They could arrest her later for all she cared, right now the only thing on her mind was saving Miracle as she headed into an apartment complex to climb up to the roof for a closer shot at the dragon. Once on the roof she used the scope on the tranquilizer gun to shoot another dart, this time into the dragon's head as it came closer in range. |
