Seras spit blood directly at Mari in a mist before stepping forward. The shadows crashed in around them crushing the enchantment under its raw pressure. It took quite a bit considering she had to draw them from other locations however her own power was intensifying as her left arm shot out in several slashing arcs at Mari while she discarded the rifle. The look in her ruby eyes changed from cute to pure insanity similar to how her masters eyes would get when he was in the heat of battle. However, she still hadn't tapped into her powers just yet. The wound on her neck had already closed up and she was still fighting back slashing with the pure blackness that spewed from her shoulder.

The shadows made several deep cuts across her arm and caused her to drop the knife, drawing the arm back into the barrier of pages and collapsing the top back on before the other slashes came, fending them off as she moved back, the barrier moving with her as she finally wised up to being within the other vampire's range. The barrier doubling as a weapon on top of a defensive maneuver creating additional pieces of papers being launched towards Seras sharp enough to cut through flesh as if they were blades.

There was no precise range that Seras couldn't fight in. Her powers allowed her short and medium ranges even then she had weapons for long range. To be precise, she was extremely well rounded when it came to battle. Once Mari moved back into her barrier she would be faced with the arm continuing to smash down on the barrier while the shadows lashed off it cutting through the paper from all sides. Seras was still waiting for things to get serious, she wasnt even trying to kill this woman yet.

Maricul just couldn't win here. If she got too close she'd be surrounded by shadows. If she moved far away she'd be surrounded by shadows and she had no shadows of her own to summon. If she did they were beyond her reach thanks to the crucifix she wasn't yet willing to part with. Otherwise the vampire would have no control over her actions and she wouldn't stop at Seras. She wouldn't stop anywhere. Suddenly, as the shadows closed in around her and started breaking through her barrier a surge of power exploded from Maricul's body causing the ones up close to explode and the ones behind them to be pushed back as the woman screamed.
“FUCK OFF!”

She smiled all big and as the explosion came from Mari her shadows lost their power disappearing. Seras casually walked to the right keeping a good distance between her and the woman in blue. Her right hand lifted from her side and the shadows from the street seemed to surge to life rippling at her manipulation. Her left arm formed a shadowy arm but continued to be unstable.
"I'm starting enjoy this. I understand why my master went head long into every conflict."

She got rid of the shadows. Somehow she managed to get rid of the shadows but she had no idea how she had done it. Was it her vampiric abilities coming up to the surface or her witchcraft? Whatever it was she needed to find out pretty damn quickly as already more shadows were coming into play and there was still the matter of Seras' unstable left arm.
"I'm starting to enjoy this. I understand why my master went head long into every conflict."
“W-what the hell is wrong with you? Are you insane!?”
As Maricul said this more sparks flew out from behind the crucifix. She had no right to call anyone insane, true or not, with the madness she fought against everyday from within her very being for the past two years. She was tempted though. Her hand wrapped firmly around the cross and allowing it to burn at her skin and form another imprint on the palm of her hand. Maricul was tempted to rip it from her neck and embrace it. Embrace the madness. What was Seras doing to her? What was her blood doing to her?
“Just tell me where he is!”

She struck a nerve it seemed. Good everything was playing to her offense now. She had no reason to fear this woman everything was in her playing field now considering she could continuously call forth the very shadows around them as an endless weapon. The only was Mari could stop that was by setting off a supernova in the middle of the area, even then she could manufacture her own shadows from her arm. She was still hiding something waiting for the right time to unleash it.
"He's not here he disappeared from my life 15 years ago. So if you'd like to die for nothing," she smiled and narrowed her eyes, "Keep coming at me."

"He's not here he disappeared from my life 15 years ago. So if you'd like to die for nothing. Keep coming at me."
“F-fifteen years ago? No. It was only two years ago when he attacked, when he made me what I am. In Isafaro. He has to be here he just has to be!”
Maricul outstretched the hand with the now burnt cross imprint and brought the discarded BAERLKS into it. The paper still wrapped around the barrel rendering it useless for this fight but that didn't stop Mari from pulling back on the trigger, her own energies pouring into the weapon and charging it up as a flash of light erupted from the wrapped up barrel bright enough to blind Seras as the light formed into a large spike rising up from the ground to impale her right on through, through the mouth.

Mari would first see a wall of darkness solidify between them watch the spike rise into the air only for it to be empty. Seras would suddenly shatter the wall in full run toward Mari the shards of the shadow wall following well around her acting as her defense and eventually her offense.

Anyone else would have felt gut-wrenching terror at this point and they'd have every right to feel that with what was heading directly at them. But instead Mari felt aroused, her own excitement growing as everything in her body was screaming at her to run towards the person coming at her instead of away. And she did so, her own powers radiating off of her body unbeknownst to her as she met Seras' charge with a charge of her own. Wanting to feel the full force of Seras' power head on. As soon as the two collided in the center of the street a large explosion erupted that covered the whole area while Maricul's crucifix fell to the ground.

It sounded like a bomb went off when the two met in the center. The wild geese where now on high alert and moving back to the area. Any who were watching the battle would be running in terror by now. However, it was unknown what was happening within the thick dust cloud now. There was a fiery black aura on Seras's end of the spectrum that lashed from the fog as she began to release more of her power.

And an icy black aura collided against it. Darkness surrounded the area as Maricul released her full power against Seras. It threatening to consume the Wild Geese and anyone else who attempted to get any closer to their position. Two black serpents burst out of Maricul's chest and ripped into Seras' threatening to tear her body apart limb from limb as she finally gave into the madness.

Seras had a look of surprise across her face at first but then she began smiling again as she clutched the right one with her right hand and the black shadows of her left arm decapitated the left serpent. With her right hand she crushed it pulling it free then pulled it along with Mari toward her.
"Is this all you got? Allow me to show you true darkness!"
And then she disappeared into the ground, where she fell into it a pitch black darkness etched itself across the streets and over the buildings blocking them out with just darkness. Seras rose up again only her top half as the rest of her seemed to be engulfed by the blackness she controlled. Her left and right arms were covered with blackness up to her elbows and she raised her hands causing the shadows to shoot in large impaling poles from the ground on both sides of Mari threatening to kill her in the very iconic way Alucard would normally do it.

Blood came spewing out of both serpents when Seras beheaded one and crushed the other. Another drawback Maricul possessed was the lack of familiars in her arsenal. She had drank the blood of many but didn't truly realize the power of blood. Only a select few of the people she had feasted on became familiars.
Maricul's legs merged together and turned black as it formed a tail. Becoming more snakelike in appearance by the second as the ice blue aura continued to shine over her body, being the only light from her own darkness as her nose and ears disappeared. Hair merging with her head as she took the first pole through the chest and two more in the stomach. More blood dripping down to the surface but she simply pushed through the impaling spikes and moved through the air as easily as one would move on the ground. As if crawling on her belly. Her face parting and opening wide like a snake's mouth as she closed in to devour Seras.

Seras lifted her hands out in the open air and the shadows themselves formed rather large hands gripping the top and bottom of the mouth of the creature. Seras was smiling brightly as her hands moved outward forcing the shadows to try and rip Mari's entire face in half. After that Seras clapped her hands together making the shadows wrap around Mari and pull her toward the ground. Seras turned her body around flailing her arms before butterflying backwards landing and swiping her hand forward sending a pillar of solid shadow toward Mari's core body. Mid flight the pillar became sharp like another one of the pikes.
