Sebastian's eyes followed the man all the way to the door. At Integra's request, the corners of his mouth twitched into a slight smile. He couldn't exactly not be truthful with her. She was his master, and lying was both against his own morals; as well as against the contract itself. He was supposed to serve her... What kind of servant didn't tell the truth? Well, one who wasn't loyal... The demon moved around to stand on the other side of the desk from her; pondering over how to answer as he pulled a washcloth from the cart, as well as a small container of leather shoe shine. While she had her feet up, he might as well return those those shoes to a presentable state. He didn't answer until the polish had been rubbed into the leather, and started to firmly buff the shoes; taking care to not get any on his gloves.
"I share a similar frame of mind, my lord." He said softly as he worked. "The need for his money, and the weapons he can provide; that I am in agreement with. However... I do not believe he cares about protecting Hollowton denizens, nor do I believe he is against Isafaro for those weapons. As far as I can tell; he cares only about his own benefits, and the power he would gain by joining with Hellsing. You heard his reasoning for desiring a Freak of his own, he wants to make it into a new weapon meant to kill its own kind. He desires the right to state that he has created his own personal weapon which can defeat any adversary; simply for bragging rights. He wants power, money, status, and popularity... And he'll sacrifice anything, whether the loss is his to sacrifice or not, to get what he wants. He shook his head in disappointment as the hands moved to work on Integra's other shoe. "I have studied humans for countless years, I have served well over 2000 different human beings in my time. A good number of them were very much like Constantine Harker... And they fell victim to their own power which was gained through me."
He straightened up as he finished; Integra would be able to see her own reflection as clearly as if the leather had been a mirror should she look at them. He placed the wash cloth on the neatly folded table cloth; planning to clean them both at the same time later. "Once he has his own freak, made more powerful by his wealth and weapons... There is no guarantee that he won't set that freak against your own; to begin using his new power to try taking down Hellsing. Of course, he will not succeed; you have a powerful defense line set up... But the betrayal itself will still be present... For all we know, he might turn your own warriors against you..." He turned away from the cart, making direct eye contact with her; seriousness etched into every inch of his stiff stance. "Where's the guarantee that those weapons and armor he creates for you won't suddenly implode and severely harm or kill your warriors? How do we know those turrets he plans to install won't be set without warning, via radio waves of some sort perhaps, to fire upon friendlies rather than enemies?" He fell silent for a moment, many more unwelcome possibilities flashing through his mind. "You know I distrust Tyrion, but I'm willing to give him a chance. But Constantine Harker...? I'm very sorry, my lord; but I shelter no trace of respect, faith, or trust in his promises..."
The demon wasn't quite sure exactly why he was saying all of this. One might have thought that he actually cared about Integra's well-being. Now that he thought about it himself, he was willing to accept that he did shelter a strange fondness of her. No, it wasn't on the level that humans called 'attraction' or 'lust'; but it was there... It was the same concern that a loyal attack dog would shelter for his master in the face of danger. The fact that this fondness had sprung up in under 48 hours was what disturbed him. Well, more intrigued really. "Finally, if I may say a few more words; master... He mentioned that he had 'eyes everywhere'... That is another thing that leaves me suspicious. He knows far too much about the goings on in Isafaro... He knows of the collapse of the Isafaro Resistance base, and very few would have that knowledge. The only ones who could get their hands on such information would very likely be rather high up in the Isafaro Tyranny." He paused, choosing his next words carefully to explain how he knew that bit of information.
"I suspect he may not be quite as hostile to Isafaro as he displayed. I was present during the attack on that underground base. To make a long story short, as I already have talked far too much than is proper for a servant, it is thanks to my interference that the Resistance leaders escaped and still survive. The entire base collapsed barely seconds after I created an escape route for them. No one left inside could have survived, especially considering that there was an army of mutated undead there. There were no civilians present to witness the collapse, they all fled when Isafaro's aerial bombers came through. Therefore... Only two sides of people could know of the base. Those Isafaro troops who were attacking and survived, and the small number of Resistance survivors." He looked away from her then; gazing out the window, though he really wasn't looking through it at all. "I suppose Harker probably had contacts present in the riot which followed the bombing, but I find it unlikely that the Resistance leaders would reveal they had just lost their headquarters. I also don't believe that Isafaro would be willing to admit that they had failed in their attempt to efface the Resistance."
Sebastian finally fell silent, hoping he hadn't stepped out of line through his sudden talkative state. Much of the information and his personal feelings about the man would seem irrelevant; but he wanted Integra to know exactly why he held no trust whatsoever. It wasn't just a hatred over his lack of manners and common courtesy, though that certainly increased his own spite of the man. He had legitimate reasons for his distrust; a complicated mixture of past experience with such humans as well as what he had pieced together here in this meeting. There was far too much to say, and he'd have them here talking all night and probably through the next day if he tried to explain all his reasons. He'd done his best to pull out the highlights alone.

She picked up her cigar after listening to Sebastians lengthy ideas and position on Harker before she too smile at him as he finished, "There's a history of betrayal within this organization. When I was a little girl my Uncle tried to kill me because I took hold of the order from my dying father. Then fifteen years ago the very butler who stood in your spot now, a man who had been in service of Hellsing for over seventy years betrayed me and would later try and kill me."
Integra took a good long drag from the cigar, "There's two sides to this as well. Your conspiracy being one side and the other side being the plausible truth. Constantine has actually developed most of the weapons used for killing the unnatural in Isafaro. He had a general idea that if he armed the soldiers there with anti-freak weapons that they would keep the populace safe.
"It hasn't been a secret that he's been looking to find a weapon to use for himself since his exile from Isafaro. When he moved his weapons facility to Kari he supplied them as well with some of the same weapons he gave Isafaro," she took a pause and turned her chair so she could flick the ash off the cigar in the ash tray.
"As for his information. It's widely known that he has payed off several officials across these nations. Given that he has technology on his side it's also not too far fetched to believe that he could of hacked the information as well."
She set the cigar down, "On the other hand. He may be just as you say. We'll see. I'll have Seras and Heinkel examine the armor and weapons as they came in. I don't need what happened to Alucard's Jackal happening too all of my soldiers weapons."

ooc: Uh, whoops... I deleted this message by mistake while reusing the template.... XD
Summary: Sebastian reaffirms his dedication to support Integra in whatever choices she makes.
Erics Summary:Yadda yadda yadda, you somewhat disagree with Integra yet also see that she still shares your views. "Master, those are my ideals, that is all." Bows serves tea, does demon butler things.
Reply to Eric's summary:
You saw no error... This message is simply your mind playing tricks on you...
A reply from Eric:
Eric, gtfo of my summary.
Eric:
I accept!
My my... Love violence, much?
Perhaps you'd like these back...
Not Bad.
Is there a problem, Sir?
That's enough, the both of you, go to your rooms.
My Lord? Forgive me, but your order is a bit unclear... If I may point out, I have no room. Every single room in this entire mansion is my room; considering I spend my time running all over the mansion to clean and cook. Is there a specific room you want me to go to?

"I understand that Harker may be the biggest threat to us despite the demon army and Isafaro army. But we will use him for his resources and if it comes down to it," for the first time in a while she smiled, "I'll be sending you to personally put the man out of his misery. I'm sure you'd enjoy it from the look of disgust I can see in your subtle gestures."
Though Sebastian was a demon he still showed enough of a change in himself for Integra to notice. She had spent most of her life with Alucard and fighting against the underworld to know those changes in the unholy beings that walked the earth, it was a nack for her to understand vampires and demons alike, it was what made her one extremely dangerous human being in charge of some of the most dangerous freaks in the business.
"Sebastian, I believe I'll be taking the rest of the day off from my duties. There appears to be nothing happening and no reason for me to continue stressing about the order of things in the future if the future is so far away."

That smile... Somehow, he didn't think a smile suited Integra very well. Perhaps it was simply because he had not seen her smile until just then; and it was completely out of the ordinary... However... Her next words only made him offer his own smile in return; losing a decent amount of the seriousness with which he had spoken. He sank into a deep bow, right hand resting upon his chest as he did so. "I would indeed, my lord." He said softly, appreciatively. "I find betrayal intolerable. Should he step out of line, I will be eagerly awaiting your order." He straightened up again, marveling at how observant she was. Integra was constantly surprising him... It was a nice change to not be able to predict what his master's next move would be.
At her next words, he simply nodded. He could understand why she might want a break. She had been working non-stop since his arrival; and she was only human after all. It was unhealthy to go through so much stress at a time for the fragile creatures. "Is there anything I may do that would make your time off more restful and enjoyable, master?" He asked. He considered making another cup of tea for her, but she had already had plenty of it already. If she planned on just taking a nap, he had already changed her bed linings. Perhaps a more comfortable change of clothes was in order... He normal attire really didn't look all that comfortable. Or maybe she would be interested in getting out of the mansion for a while; walk around the less-destroyed parts of Hollowton and enjoy the rest of the day. Whatever she had in mind, he'd be prepared to offer assistance.

"I'll be fine Sebastian. Take a moment to enjoy yourself for a change. Even as a demon I can't imagine you'd enjoy constant working around the clock without a bit of time to enjoy the little things in life," She put both of her hands behind her head and closed her eyes. Perhaps with the way things were going she'd be able to get some sleep from now on. However, she extremely doubted it.
"After all. It's a slow day today."

He shook his head in bemusement as he clasped his hands behind his back. Integra didn't understand him very well... But of course... He didn't understand her too much either. "On the contrary, my lord... There is nothing I find more enjoyable than serving my contracted master. When a demon is concerned, there are no 'little things in life' to be appreciated. All the enjoyment I need comes from observing the nature of humans. Unlike the few other Faustian Demons in existence; I find no shame or distress in being a servant. Most of the others would only reluctantly reduce themselves to the level of a butler for their future meal. But being that low ranked allows me to spend more time in the mortal world; which is why I enjoy the duties and responsibility that comes with the task."
For the first time, a genuine smile rose to curl his lips. This one didn't consist of sarcasm or sardonic attitude. He honestly hadn't had this much fun in more years than he cared to count. "We are granted eternal life as demons, unless special circumstances come into play. But while that sort of life may sound quite appealing to the natural greed of of human beings, it isn't all that great. We get bored rather quickly, spending our years locked up in hell with no trace of entertainment except the same old routine of eating when we need to. We are quite lazy. So I come to the human world for my entertainment, and to feel as if I'm actually doing something useful; honestly working to earn my food. There is also a thrill of danger in the human world to us; were is the fun without a little risk?"

"Very well then. Make yourself useful in the district and repair one of the largest buildings to house refugees. That'll give you something to do before dinner. It'll also give me time to rest a moment, after all, I can actually enjoy the luxury of being lazy for a moment, it may drive you insane however," Integra took her cigar and put it out in the ashtray to avoid any 'accidents' that might occur had she nodded off with a lit cigar in her hand behind her head.
"I have turned down eternal life on every occasion that it has been presented to me on. Sounds boring. There's no thrill in seeing the future if you are going to see it all. There's no way to make a difference in your life time if it's forever. Instead, you simply exist time period to time period doing the usual routine. After a number of years you run out of things to do since you have no reason to adapt since your body doesn't break down to old age."
She didn't truly know or understand the full potential of eternal life, nor did she wish to.

Sebastian bowed once more, his body held parallel to the floor upon which he stood. "Yes, my lord..." He murmured. It seemed like there would always be a chance for him to be working. Good, more for him to do. He leaned over to take the ash tray and used cigar; placing them on his cart. "I shall bring you another cigar along with dinner, master. While I'm on the subject... Dinner tonight will consist of Japanese Spiny Lobster Saute, roasted turkey, and toffee pudding as a desert. I understand the pudding may not sound attractive; but I assure you... Those who have tasted it found themselves at a loss for words to describe its savory flavour." He started to head toward the door; pushing the cart before him, when Integra spoke again. He turned back to face her, a new respect glittering within the crimson gaze. "You never cease to amaze me, my lord... Very few humans would deny eternal life if it was presented to them as an option. Everything you just said is quite relevant, and plays a role in why I chose to become Faustian." He left the room and closed the door behind him without a sound. "Yes indeed... I will make one hell of a feast out of you, my lord..." He murmured to himself.
