Morning came. Lori stood in the empty throne room of the castle looking down through the window where the new soldiers of Hallowton were training. Her eyes wandered out further to the docks that was being reconstructed. They would be gone soon. Ayen, Yuna, Saturn. A part of her hoped that they'd stay. Stay and fight by her side against Isafaro but she couldn't ask that.
She couldn't ask anybody that.

A man walked to Lori, he was one of her steward, "My lady. Sir Integra Hellsing of the Hellsing Order has arrived."
5:00 AM
Integra had grown accustomed to getting up so early. Ever since she was without a butler it became ever so important that she wake as early as allowed in order to get her morning routine out of the way. This took up to an hour of preparation that few ever saw.
6:00 AM
Integra sat at her desk and set her mug of tea down. It was Black tea, a lot of milk, two teaspoons of sugar stirred to perfection. She opened her cigar case and pulled out a Hendi Winzerman small cigar. She cut the tip off it and lit it. Like every morning she took to reading the daily tabloids to pass time.
8:40 AM
All of Hellsing was up. Seras began the daily morning work outs and training of the Wild Geese. Heinkel entered her office informing her that the car had been pulled up and waited for her command to move out.
9:00 AM
Integra closed her newspaper and put the butt of the cigar in the ash tray. She stood up and took her cup down to the kitchen. She exited the mansion and Heinkel opened the car door for her. Integra entered along with two Iscariot regenerators.
9:30 AM
The car arrived to the castle.
10:00 AM
Integra entered the castle with the two regenerators on either side of her. She waved her left hand to the side and the left regenerator returned to the car where he would stand guard for it. She continued on with the other.
"Ma'am. How can I help you?" It was the steward.
"Inform the Queen that Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing of the Hellsing Organization would like to have an audience with her over the terms of our employment and the safety of the nation of Hallowton."

My lady. Sir Integra Hellsing of the Hellsing Order has arrived. Lori turned her head to face the steward. "Hellsing?"
The steward nodded and repeated what Sir Integra told him. "Bring her in."
The steward bowed and then went back to the entrance of the throne room. Opening the doors and allowing Integra to enter the throne room where Lori stood waiting.

10:05 AM
The steward returned. He lead her to the throne room. As she entered her regenerator guard stood by the door to stand in as a guard. She took notice to the Queen instantly as a very youthful girl, much a contrast to the Queen she served before this.
She took a knee like she would do for the Queen of England and bowed her head, "My Queen," was all she said awaiting the order to raise to her feet and speak her business. It was a tall order she had to deal with, if the Queen rejected her she would have to relocate an entire order elsewhere. If she accepted them, then she would finish rebuilding the mansion and begin working at once.

Lori wasn't sure how to feel as Integra entered the room. General Vulture had unleashed hell on her people and not only did a knight in shinning armor appear in the form of Arix but now an entire organization wanted to discuss employment and Hallowton safety. It all seemed too good to be true. "Rise." Lori waited for Integra to stand up before continuing. "Speak."

Of course Integra took back to her feet. She was very calm in her next actions where she casually crossed her arms, "My name is Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing. I represent the Royal Order of Protestant Knights, also known as the Hellsing Organization. Which currently is operating out of an abandoned mansion in the wards."
"We're looking for employment under the Queen of Hallowton to protect it and server it as a hand of retribution to any who threaten its lands. If you were to accept, we would begin working at once to rid the city of any foul impure creatures that are unwanted, and begin patrolling with my own soldiers to secure the city at once," Integra had a very strict and businesslike tone to her voice through the entire speech. She simply stood there and waited.

My name is Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing. I represent the Royal Order of Protestant Knights, also known as the Hellsing Organization. Which currently is operating out of an abandoned mansion in the wards. Protestant. That word stuck out the most to Lori. Similar to the Aircano's refugees that came here and created conflict among the not so entirely human people that was staying in the city alongside them. Lori wouldn't have that happen again. Not when so many of her allies could be affected
We're looking for employment under the Queen of Hallowton to protect it and server it as a hand of retribution to any who threaten its lands. If you were to accept, we would begin working at once to rid the city of any foul impure creatures that are unwanted, and begin patrolling with my own soldiers to secure the city at once. "Under one condition," replied Lori as calmly as she could make herself. "You are not to harm any of the non-humans already in my care. Understood?"

The whole time this so far brief meeting had been underway, and since a few minutes before it began, Lori had had a powerful bodyguard beside her - Sparda. He stood at the Queen's right hand, below and to the right of the elevated throne, and suppressed a knowing smile as a familiar name entered the room: Hellsing.
He remained silent and immobile, hands clasped behind his back, as Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing entered the throne room, genuflected before Lori and spoke her piece. He was immensely pleased to hear the Queen quickly offer one simple condition in return which would be easy to abide by; given how the Hellsing Organisation employed its fair share of inhuman assets, it would be inexcusably hypocritical of Integra to antagonise any others who were not outright enemies.
Glancing at Lori and quietly nodding his approval, the Dark Knight smiled and waited.

Of course there was stipulations. She knew there would be. However she was ready to counter the circumstances with hard evidence that she had leading to a clean slate of trust between her and the queen. "Of course my Queen," she simply said with a small smile on her face. However, the smile itself didn't take away from her business like tone or the hard stern look in her eye.
"The Hellsing Organization hosts a Vampire and an Immortal, not to mention several catholic regenerators. There is no reason for us to assault any of your own unless they become a threat to you or your nation. My Queen, you have me at your hand."

There is no reason for us to assault any of your own unless they become a threat to you or your nation. My Queen, you have me at your hand. "I see," came Lori's rather simple reply. Not that she could think of anything Queenish to say. She felt and looked awkward enough wearing her black Queen robes with her mother's crown atop her head. She turned to face the window, the sun outside shinning against her crown which Integra could see was made of pure silver. "We are currently at war with out neighboring nation Isafaro. To make matters worse a demon army rises from the south and has just taken one of the cities there now moving through the desert." Lori motioned Sparda and directed him towards the map on the wall for him to give to Integra. "If they succeed in taking the desert kingdom on that map then their next destination will most likely be Kari, nation just getting back on their feet. Located in Kari is a tower called the Downward Spiral which acts as a gateway to other words. If they take Kari then they secure the tower for themselves. That can't happen." Lori turned away from the window, starting to get more comfortable in her skin as she focused relaying information to Integra. "Kari possesses technology that can be used in the fight against Isafaro which is why it's important to establish a relationship with them. Do you have anyone in your organization that can be spared to assist them?"

Issued an order already? Lori seemed to be settling into her responsibilities, and wore the robe and crown exceptionally well to boot. Nodding quietly, Sparda crossed the room to the far wall, where a large scroll bearing a map of Jherra was framed.
Unclipping the corner brackets to free the page from the frame, the demon rolled it up carefully, then turned and crossed back towards Integra, handing the map over with a cordial smile and nod of greeting. Upon her taking it, he would step back out of the way, continuing to watch over proceedings and wait upon Her Majesty.

She nodded at Sparda taking the map and listening to Lori. Examining the map she quickly understood how desperate the movement would be if a demon army was to make their way toward Kari. They weren't that far away maybe two or three days out at the most. Integra simply smiled and looked up at Lori.
"A demon army is no match for Joann of Arc. If they dare use unholy powers and are impure of heart then hundreds upon hundreds will die with each swipe of her divine blade. If you are looking for a champion she would be it. However, you must be willing to sacrifice defense here in order to send her there. Hellsing can operate without her, but she is still a very large role in killing devil class monsters."
Integra was very happy with those she commanded, as it could be seen in the way she praised her own pawn.

Lori listened to Integra and second guessed her decision, though it didn't show on her face. But she decided to stick to her guns and trust her first gut feeling that sending Joann to help the Resistance in Kari was the best thing to do right now to assist the war effort. Arix needed more time to train the recruits should heaven forbid the demon army make it this far. "I understand. You're to send her on her way at once."

"Very well my Queen. We have taken up living space in an abandoned mansion on the outskirts of town to the east. If you need to find us look for the Insignia flying on a flag in our courtyard, you are also always welcome there for safety," Integra said with a curt nod.

Everything was going as smoothly as could be hoped, and Sparda was quite pleased at how well Lori was handling herself. She was certainly her mother's daughter, it seemed, and making it clearer by the day.
"If I may, Sir Integra," he interjected when an opportunity presented itself. "If you believe it necessary, I would like to come to this mansion in the morning and brief your people on the situation. Current affairs in Jherra have been... hectic, to put it lightly."
