Kragen managed to make some more advancement in-between bombs but soon found himself back in cover as smoke and debris masked the zombie swarm while at the same time taking more of them out. It seemed the Isafaro strike cared little for their own ground team and they could use that to their advantage. The Ex-Soldier rolled out of cover and unloaded upon the soldiers before rolling back into cover opposite of his previous one as the auto-locks were proving to be a major nuisance.

Kira might have been far away, but he that didn't mean he couldn't do anything about the descrution. Even without turning around he still had options. He had quite a few weapons at his disposial that he could use at long range and he intended to. His Dragoon's split off from his Gundam. He wouldn't let them hurt anymore people. He wouldn't just let them hurt those that had nothing to do with this war! The eight of his Dragoons came detached from it. He wasn't going to let them! Suddenly all eight weapons shot out. Kira's forward momentum halted almost immedietly when he turned back around forming his two beam rifles to make a sniper rifle of sorts. His Dragons started to take out the bombs before they got close to the ground as he took aim with his sniper and fired off two shots aimed at two of the bombers. The speed at which he approched them would make even their pilots jealous. Without the Dragoons blocking his thrusters he closed the gap much more quickly then they would probably like. ______________________________________________________ Key: Person to post next Song: Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Key: Thoughts; Dialouge

Garrus continued to provide cover fire for Kragen, who in turn provided cover fire for Garrus until the two managed to get close enough to actually enter the tunnel that led to the labs but the zombie mass became even more thick than it was near the entrance. The Rebel Turian threw a grenade into the mass, forcing a path on through to the labs for Kragen to cut through. Garrus Vakarian Go! Go! Go!

The bombs exploded prematurely while still in the air and shrapnel rained down from above at the people below as the jets crashed into the nearby building setting fire to them. Meanwhile back at the underground base, just as Kragen and Garrus grew closer to the labs, the entrance to the tunnel collapsed blocking the only known way back up to the surface. Trapping them underground.

The Genius heard the sound of something collapsing outside of the labs as she got herself and the soldiers behind her through the laser fields and closer to where she knew the exit door was.
“That didn't sound good.”
“What the hell was that?”
Imai and 201 made it out of the labs at the same time Kragen and Garrus was heading towards the same entrance they were coming out of, just in time to see the exit of the tunnel collapsed trapping them underground. Hoards of undead still surrounding them while more came up to them from behind.
“Goddammit! We're trapped!”

Kragen continued through the path that Garrus had opened up for him, looking behind him just quick enough to see the entrance of the tunnel finally collapse before taking behind another spot of cover and providing cover fire for Garrus to continue to Imai and 201's position. Not hearing what Imai said about being trapped as he was still too far away. Either way, Kragen believed there had to be another way out of here. That warrior spirit wouldn't die that easily.

He was in a sort of limbo, in a state of non-existence; yet he was still there. This wasn't an unfamiliar feeling; he had always been in these voids while seeking out his next meal. This was the normal life of a demon. Melting into this state were there was nothing to be seen; but sounds from infinite locations were amplified and could be heard. It was in this void that the demons were able to chose whose soul be devoured next. The depths of his eyes seemed to be constantly shifting; the slit pupils appeared to be floating on pink hued pools. It was here in this dimension that all souls in existence; no matter what world they were in, both happy and unhappy, trapped and tormented... These were the feasting grounds. But Sebastian was well known among the demons for being hopelessly picky. Unlike most, he was willing to go through anything, wait as long as he had to; in order to get his hands on one of the more desirable meals. Not a single one of the souls available attracted his attention. Well, almost none... There was one place that seemed to be in a bit of turmoil. He shifted through the floating blackness toward the area. There were countless souls here. And every single one seemed to be in a state of utter terror. He could hear screams of the dying, the moans of the injured, the desperate encouragement some yelled to others. This was the location of a battlefield... None of these souls smelled like decent food, but his own curiosity had to satiated. One voice rose up from someone, which was echoed by others. "We're trapped!" A sadistic smile curled his lips as he moved into the mass. The darkness seemed to fold around him as it swallowed him up, and the voices grew louder. It wasn't long before he opened those pink eyes, and found himself standing near the back of some sort of laboratory. The dark fog and feathers which rolled off his very being faded slightly, though they were still visible; hiding most physical characteristics of his true demon form.
Now that he had materialized here, he suddenly grew rather ravenous; sensing all the suffering and lost hope which tended to hover around a war zone. He looked toward the entrance of the room; and saw quite a large mass of things there. There were apparently undead soldiers, and he felt bile rise up in his throat. Such things were abominations... They had no healthy souls. But there was also the living warriors, who were fighting back; judging from the gunfire he was hearing. It also seemed as if a tunnel outside of the lab had collapsed, and had blocked these people in. How boring... It would be no fun devouring souls who had no place to run or hide. He leaned against a wall, crossing his arms, and looked toward the entrance where the mass was; that malicious smirk still in place upon his face as the pink-hued eyes gleamed in amusement. "My my... What an awful position you have all landed yourselves in..." He said softly, though his voice carried over the gunfire.

Garrus didn't turn back around. There was no turning back. The rebel turian continued to press forward through the opening Kragen had provided for him and finally reached Imai and 201's position, mowing down some of the surrounding undead as he spoke to them. Garrus Vakarian Is there another way out of the tunnels? Garrus then looked over to the male who had appeared out of nowhere and aimed his weapon towards him. Garrus Vakarian Who are you?

"Is there another way out of the tunnels?"
Imai shook her head, frustration clearly visible on her facial features.
“No. No there isn't. That was the only way out of the tunnel.”
“Then we'll just have to make a new way out.”
“You have gone mad...”
“I don't know about you, Imai, but I have no intention on dying here!”
"My my... What an awful position you have all landed yourselves in..."
Imai and 201 spun around, aiming their weapons at the new arrival at the same time Garrus did. Imai and 201 backing away, motioning for Garrus to do the same as the zombies were starting to close in and it wouldn't be the worse thing in the world for the hoards of undead and the new arrival to fight each other.
"Who are you?"
“Look at his eyes. Remind you of anyone?”
“Vampire?”
“We'll know soon enough,” replied Imai as Sebastian would find himself surrounded by the undead hoards looking to rip him apart.

As more zombies surrounded Kragen's cover the Ex-Soldier responded by throwing a couple of grenades in their path to make up for the lack of numbers on his side. After the explosions went off Kragen cut through the smoke and caught up with the other members of the Resistance. "Where's Genius?" His question would have to wait as all eyes went on the new arrival and the undead soldiers remained relentless against the Resistance. "Madness."

He smiled pleasantly at the creature with the weapon trained on his face, as if he were a child pointing a bubble gun at him; rather than a machine made specifically to kill. He wasn't frightened or intimidated in the slightest, but amused. He raised his right hand and rested it on his chest, then lowered himself into a bow of greeting. "Oh yes, my apologies. I didn't introduce myself... I am Sebastian, merely someone who happened to be passing through." He straightened up,still smiling as if this were an everyday and friendly conversation. "My kind tends to be attracted and intrigued by the violence of human beings, you see." He tilted his head ever so slightly, looking over the strange creature. "But you aren't human, good Sir. May I ask who and what you are, as well as what's going on here?" He gestured airily at the laboratory, the undead, and then the collapsed tunnel. "Of course, you don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to. Either way, it seems that I have come across one hell of a mess..."
“I don't know about you, Imai, but I have no intention on dying here!”
Sebastian lifted his gaze to fix on the two who had just raised and aimed their own weapons at him. He approved of those words which had just been spoken, and that was enough to make his face soften a bit; the malicious look fading into one of slight respect. Good, they weren't going to just give up and die here; which meant more of a show for him. Then one of the two mentioned his eyes to her partner, and he shook his head at the "vampire" comment. "A Vampire? Not quite, I am a demon. I'm sure you understand the difference." He leaned over, extending a gloved hand to the ground where countless spent bullets were scattered. When he straightened up, he had a decent-sized handful, and seemed to be inspecting the still-warm pieces of metal. "Normally, I wouldn't get involved in a matter such as this... However," He looked up, offering a respectful bow of his head to the one who had spoken of not dying here. "I like what you said."
Without so much as a blink, he sprang backwards; fixing his relaxed gaze upon the undead who had come over to play. He crossed his arms over his chest, shifting the bullets so that he had one between each finger on either hand. The next moment, he lashed out with both arms; sending 8 bullets cleanly into 8 of the undead. The metal met each one perfectly in between their eyes, and passed through the head entirely. Those 8 fell over, but they were undead after all. He couldn't be sure if they were actually out of the fight for good. He landed gracefully on the ground in a crouch, and then straightened up as he pulled what looked like a single silver knife out of a hidden pocket. This small weapon was raised; and he tilted his head as another amused smile crossed his features. The hand fanned a bit; and now he now had three of the miniscule kitchen tools held in one hand.
The undead soldiers he was facing began to fire at him, and his black clothed figure faded into a blur as he went evasive; avoiding most of the bullets while blocking and deflecting others with his knives; of which he now had 6, three in either hand. He suddenly threw those 6 knives at once, and two of the undead fell; each one with a knife in its forehead, neck, and chest. But once again, these were zombies; mindless creatures without real life. He couldn't allow himself to think that those were out of action. He reached out and took what appeared to be a high tech firearm from the nearest undead soldier, sending it crumbling to the ground with a neatly snapped neck. "Tell me..." He said as he shifted to stand closer to the living soldiers, unleashing an entire load of bullets along a line of enemies. His accuracy wasn't so great with guns, but at least he hit a decent number of them; that was all that mattered. "Would fire put a guaranteed end to these abominations?" He figured that if they were reduced to ash, then there would be no returning to fight again.

Garrus wasn't sure what to make of the newcomer. His reaction to having a weapon, modified with blessed silver bullets to be more deadly to the unholy creatures that stalk these streets, was unnerving but not at all surprising considering what they have faced before. He wasn't a vampire like Alucard but he reminded the turian of the man nonetheless. Garrus Vakarian Turian. I'd explain but we're pressed for time. He looked back to Imai and 201. Garrus Vakarian I agree with 201. There must be another way out of here and if not then we're make one. Where's--? Kragen beat him to it. His attention went back to the zombies anyhow as they fired on the demon. Finding Isafaro soldiers to be more of a threat Garrus assisted with some cover fire of his own. Whether the man needed it or not was beside the point right now as he listened to what he said after the zombies were dispatched. Garrus Vakarian Too risky. That could give us flaming undead soldiers to worry about on top of everything else.

"It's over, Olivia."
Red Queen made a point of using Genius' real name as she appeared on the vampiress' laptop as she moved closer to the exit of the labs.
"The entrance to the tunnel has collapsed and all you can do now is either be eaten or wait to be buried alive. Your choice."
The tunnel shook again as the Resistance members would notice dirt pouring down from above. Looking to bury them alive while they were trapped like rats underground. Provided the zombies didn't get to them first. The undead soldiers attacked by the butler got up, mutating into something even more vicious as they continued their assault. The other soldiers that were taken out by the ground team would all rise back up to their feet. No longer as zombies but as true abominations against the Creator as they chased down the few Resistance members left to finish them off.
"It was a pleasure to know you, Ms. Hart."

"It's over, Olivia."
“How do you–?”
"The entrance to the tunnel has collapsed and all you can do now is either be eaten or wait to be buried alive. Your choice."
So that what that noise outside the labs was. The Genius ignored Red Queen's attempts at discouraging her and continued to lead her people out of the labs just as the zombies that fell behind them were starting to rise up into harder to kill abominations.
"It was a pleasure to know you, Ms. Hart."
“You should know better than to count all of your chickens before they hatch, Queen.”
Olivia lunged out of the entrance of the labs, covered by bullets from the men behind her as an explosion of slashes erupted against the abominations that was surrounding Imai and the others outside of the lab, blood painting the ground the monsters falling to the ground as she and the small squad of troops behind her reunited with the others.
“Genius!”
“Sorry we're late. Turns out laser security? Not such a good idea.”
“The entrance to the tunnels collapsed. We have no way out.”
“Then we'll just have to make a new one, won't we?”
“Hey, you, demon butler.”
201 waved her pistol carelessly at the demon.
“That trick you pulled to get down here. Can you do the same to get all of us out?”

Kira watched to see if any pilots ejected from the bombers, but it seemed none would come. Were they even manned? He couldn’t do anything about the shrapnel, but it at least it wouldn’t affect the buildings as much as an explosion would have. As they approached the building rather than allowing them to crash he shot them again aiming to blow up the entire bomber. While he didn’t like taking life it seemed they didn’t have a problem taking their own citizens something Kira wasn’t just going to let them do even if he had to destroy them. Kira slowly lowered his guns redocking his dragoons after the battle had ended before taking off for the Resistance base. He’d have to come back and see the damage here later. As much as he didn’t want to leave this area in that state there were people that would need help. Kira knew Isafaro had much more than one bombing squad. He reopened his laptop. His eyes keeping a focus on both the air space and it as she hurried towards the base. That AI was probably still in the system, it made things difficult. He preset a few commands that should keep it busy long enough should it try to hack his system, but he didn’t hack into the Resistance system. Instead he hacked straight into Isafaro’s com system starting a strike on their system to take most others offline starting with their ability to monitor communications. Once that was done he patched it through setting an automatic program to delete the records should something break through his programs. Eight minutes. That might be nine too many however to actually be of any help. ”Imai. Whats the situation over there?” he asked. His fingers ran back to his screen as walls of text rolled by on it as he tried to see what he could do about getting more power from the thrusters. Literally going through the entire code in about seven seconds he couldn’t bring himself to cut the safety on the nuclear reactor, but managed to get a little improvement cutting his time down to five minutes, but even that was far to long. ______________________________________________________ Key: Person to post next Song: Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Key: Thoughts; Dialouge
