“Blow me.”
The soldiers threw their null grenades and open fired, didn't matter. She moved and appeared as a black and blue blur evading the bullets and cleaving one man in two with her scythe before ramming her elbow into the cheek bone of another. When they saw they couldn't hit her they pulled back and went in for the element of surprise; the snipers, but she could smell them. Her ear twitched at the sound of their weapons firing and her body reflexes kicked in automatically, twirling to deflect the bullets before swinging her scythe between the legs of one man. Up, up, up, SPLIT!
Cringe.
With one man left Maricul swung her arm back, the scythe blade reaching around his neck and then as she turned, she pulled back and beheaded the soldier watching the headless body fall to the ground soon after as the snipers called in back up and Maricul just stood there irritated at the lack of effort being put in by the Vulture crew.
“Come on! You got a bunch of high-tech experimental shit. I have a fucking lawn mower!”

Damn, some people sure were just begging to get their asses kicked. He was downright tired of bastards getting in his face and demanding to know who he was, why he was here... Their whole security/guard clothing did nothing to make him more cautious. Oh yes, he knew who they were now, and who they served. But that didn't mean he was going to sit back and let them say things like "State your name and purpose here, Short Stuff.", or shove weapons into his face and threaten to shoot him unless he answered all their questions. That had happened numerous times now. Those who'd called him short, or something of the like, were now unconscious and hidden in alleyways; while other were going around sporting weapons which had been transformed into something useless. One guy had a can opener instead of a gun; another had a small, but extremely heavy mini-baseball bat that they couldn't swing around. He'd refrained from leaving his face and antenna on the said tools, simply because he'd thought it would be best to remain "incognito" as long as possible. Anyone he met still thought he was just some insignificant kid who liked flashy colors, thus the red coat he was wearing. They knew nothing of the metal limbs hidden beneath his clothing, or the science some might have viewed as "magic" or "miracles". And he wanted to keep it that way.
Still fuming in his towering temper at the most recent encounter with certain soldiers who'd tried to trap him in an alleyway for his refusal to answer their demanding questions. Of course, he'd simply made a door at the far end of the path in the "Dead End" wall; and he'd broken down that door and put the wall back to normal once he was through. There had certainly been some confusion among his pursuers, they had been so certain they'd had him trapped with no escape. So here he was, walking down the now deserted street with gloved hands in his pockets; the right one clutched the small metal pocket watch is sorrow. It was all he had in this weird world to remind him to keep going, and find a way home again. There was sudden commotion as he reached a sort of intersection, and the blond youth spun around to stare down the road. What he saw was quite an impressive display, some black haired female kept blurring in the speed of her motion as she was assaulted by gunfire of more soldiers. He could only watch, slightly open mouthed, as she took them all down; her weapon never quite resting long enough for him to see what it was.
It wasn't long before there were only maimed bodies left of the soldiers, and a weak smile passed over his features. "Nicely done..." He murmured under his breath; not really intending for her to hear. Now that the weapon was immobile, he could see the scythe; and he repressed a shudder. He certainly didn't want to get on her bad side... She was fast, and he didn't think he'd be able to transmute fast enough if he was the next person to anger her. Still smiling slightly, he started to keep walking across the intersection; feigning disinterest in the scene not far from him. Honestly, he wanted to stop and greet her; maybe say exactly how impressive she was in combat. But at this rate, he doubted anyone would think a kid like him worth their attention. At least, not until they pissed him off enough to trigger a violent response. Even so, his steps were hesitant, and he was unable to keep those golden eyes away from the scene. She was about to have to fight more as reinforcements were called in; he felt bad about just leaving her to fight on her own.
She seemed to be able to handle herself though... Why get involved? "Damn it, I'm too nice..." He grumbled as he turned back toward the conflict. He took long strides toward them, pulling the white glove of his right hand so that it wouldn't be torn if he had to make the arm into a knife blade. As he moved up to stand near the woman, a few of the new arrivals started to laugh. Yeah well, they wouldn't be amused for long... With a sigh, he clapped his hands together; metal and flesh; then crouched to slam his palms into the ground. There was the blue flash of Alchemic energy as he stood up; seemingly pulling a long spear from the ground at his feet. He spun his new weapon around, now standing back to back with the woman as the golden gaze dared the soldiers to fire again. "Hey, Lady. You probably don't need any help, since you have your lawn mower; but I'd like to beat the hell outta these Vulture creeps as well."
ooc: You did have reinforcements brought in, right? I wasn't quite sure when I read your post. If not, I'll edit this reply to leave out the whole reinforcements bit.

"Nicely done..."
Maricul's ear twitched again, picking up on the sound of Edward's voice as her nose followed to his position. Eyes seeing further than any average person could hope to see and seeing that he wasn't dressed like one of Vulture's men she turned back to the path the snipers were forming. Pulling a cigarette out of her back pocket she lit it up and put it in her mouth.
“I'm waiting.”
As she did so Maricul didn't move when Edward came onto the scene and stood back to back with her.
"Hey, Lady. You probably don't need any help, since you have your lawn mower; but I'd like to beat the hell outta these Vulture creeps as well."
“Fine with me.”
The reinforcement up ahead was holding back killer attack dogs going wild by the smell of fresh blood. The soldier released them and watch them all run towards the two barking loudly as they bared their teeth. Maricul intercepted one by stabbing the scythe blade through it and slamming the dog down on the ground repeatedly before hurling it at the others running towards them. Some went around Maricul and headed straight to Edward while she went on ahead through the attack dogs and reached the man who released them.
“Woof!”
And the man's head went flying through the air.

Goku Jr. had seen enough torture this... government has been inflicting upon its citizens. He was already being chased by police and military personnel. He was vulnerable to bullets unlike his great-great grandpa, but was fast enough to dodge them as he flew down the streets trying to get away. For some reason there always seemed to be more.
The reason why was easily shown by the two others in front of the oppressive force resisting. No... resisting wasn't the word... slaughter was. Maybe they had enough too? Time to find out, Goku Jr. thought as the light created by his aura distracted a few of the gaurds. By the time they figured out where the source was.. it was too late because Goku Jr. had sent down several ki blasts down upon them with deadly intent.
Dust was thrown up into the air like a smokescreen by the explosions resulting from the blasts. He could hear some screaming down below but couldn't see the soldiers through the cloud. "I think I overdid it", He murmured as he looked down into the cloud.

Maricul looked up to the resulting explosion as she picked up a scent from up above in the air.
“Toasty.”
Through the dust that was created Maricul was able to see a little red dot on the ground by her feet that stretched up all the way into the sky. She leaped back as another explosion erupted where she once stood and thirteen soldiers appeared with large assault rifles in their hands, a chainsaw attached to the weapons as these soldiers were in armor and pushed forward as a single unit.
“Come and get it, boys.”
The chainsaws came alive and headed to claim the flesh of the vampiress.

He stood there, glaring; a bit relieved that the lady hadn't decided to turn on him too for trying to help when she didn't need it. Something about her... Didn't quite feel human. He couldn't really explain it; but it was just a feeling... An instinctive caution brought up by standing so close to her. But as long as he wasn't her target, what did he have to worry about but the soldiers themselves? Well, maybe getting sliced apart by that scythe; if she wasn't careful where she swung it. But from what he'd seen; she knew how to handle it. He didn't have too much time to ponder over the thoughts though; as the reinforcements started to close in. He heard the barking, ad turned to face the incoming canines. The woman was suddenly no longer there; attacking some of the dogs and then turning toward the one who had released the savage animals. He was just able to see the soldier's head go flying off from its neck; before the dogs were upon him.
"Dammit..." He grumbled as two of the things sank their teeth, or tried to, into his left leg. With sudden yelps, they backed off; spitting blood and some of their own teeth onto the ground. "Wrong leg, you bastards..." He grumbled, sparing a fleeting glace to his leg. The pants leg had strips torn off and was punctured by teeth; leaving the metal underneath exposed; which glittered oddly in the dim lighting of the city. Ah well... A few more canines rushed forward, and the youth spun the spear in his hands again. He swung it around as if he were some pro-baseball player, and sent two dogs flying into a nearby wall with sickening crunches. The things crumpled to the ground and lay motionless. He shifted his legs into a comfortable position, and began to launch a flurry of kicks and punches at the dogs; and soldiers; who came within his reach. He didn't get to spare a glance toward the woman to see what she was doing; despite his longing to simply watch her fight.
He pulled back his spear, and then hurled it toward a guard who was leveling a heavy assault rifle toward him. The weapon impaled the man through the chest, and he fell over in a writhing heap. Edward felt disgusted with himself, he was taking lived doing this... Being a murder wasn't what he wanted to do... But there was no choice now... He was a solder too; just from a different world. It was time he started acting like it, and stop cringing at bloodshed. His hesitation as he watched the soldier die was his mistake. One dog remained, and it had latched itself onto his right arm; violently jerking its head, clearing trying to tear his arm off. Furious with both himself and the dog, he managed to clap his hands together and transmute the knife blade from his arm. A slight twitch to the left; and the canine had been impaled by the knife. One of the nearby surviving soldiers let out a shocked yell; staring at the ravaged sleeve. "How'd you do that?! Why didn't you lose your arm right then!"
Edward allowed a smirk to pass over his face. "If it's any consolation, the dog did ruin my coat..." Then, there was a massive explosion, and he was thrown backward by the force of... He had no idea what it was... Some weird attack had just come from another arrival. At least the newcomer seemed to be fighting against the soldiers as well. All the same, his ears were still ringing as he got to his feet again, rather irritated with the unexpected attack; even if it hadn't been directed at him. Both the red coat and black under jacket were now in tatters, and he tore them off his body without a second thought. They'd just get in the way now. Wearing only a black tank top underneath, his entire arm was now exposed; along with parts of his leg showing through tears in his pant. He really didn't care anymore. This place was hi-tech, a metal arm and leg would come as no shock to anyone. No reason to hide it anymore.
There was a brief lull in the battle as the smoke from the explosions cleared, and he found that he'd landed near the woman. She was now standing stationary again, glaring a challenge at thirteen new soldiers. These guys looked like they knew how to use those weapons as well. They were well armored as well... But now, this was his forte. A genuine grin appeared on the youth's face as he brought his hands together again, and rested them on the ground. Immediately, the blue energy rippled across the earth toward the soldiers. A moment later, jagged spines rose up from the ground; piercing through most of the weapons to render them useless by destroying the inner workings. A few of the soldiers got caught as well as the razor sharp stone rose up beneath him. The grin faded from his face then. Killing people like this was hard... More difficult than he could have ever imagined... But this was self-defense... But wasn't it still murder?

The armor team cut right on through with their chainsaws and continued straight for Edward. Maricul shoved him out of the way with the palm of her free hand and got sliced through by the chainsaw in a matter of seconds, her blood splattered body falling to the ground as the team continued onward towards Ed with their chainsaws still on. Meanwhile a little red dot aimed itself towards Goku Jr. and in a flash a chainsaw came to slice off his limbs.

Goku watched the woman get cut down. He didn't know what to think of that really, only that he became totally enraged, all-most to the point of losing control as he screamed in overwhelming anger. He didn't even know the person and still he felt grief. With hands clenched and head thrown upward looking toward the sky as he gathered the energy to completely obliterate those.. murdering bullies down below.
However things never go to plan as he noticed a flash of red light. With all of the energy he had obtained, he propelled himself backward from the light and watched it collide with the ground sending dust upward to obscure his view. At first he felt fine but he felt something wet trailing its way down his stomach. When he looked down he saw a long gash at his chest and realized how lucky he was that if he had stayed he would be literally in pieces.
He was brought back to reality with the report of a machine gun being shot at him. The fire rat was astounding as he was forced to keep moving in order to keep ahead of the stream of bullets. Eventually the bullets stopped and Goku Jr. sent a ki blast in to incapitate the shooter. Luckily there was no more coming from this gunner, so he turned his attention to the other soldiers as he dashed mid-air at his first target as the soldiers near the other resister. He pushed all his momentum and force in to a well placed kick aimed for the back of one of the soldier's head.
The attack landed and he kicked from the now dead if not unconcious body as it went limp to soften his landing. What was good was that he was near the other guy so Goku can lend his assistance.. however... the rest of the soldiers aimed their weapons at Goku. "Uh-oh.....", he thought aloud.

What the hell...? Somehow, he'd missed stabbing through some of those chainsaw/assault rifle mixes... And the sight of the surviving soldiers cutting through his field of spines sent the adrenaline running through his body. He was still in the process of transmuting the ground, he could get up and out of range of those chain saws by simply creating a pillar beneath him. It was normally how he reached high places anyway. But before he had a chance to act; the woman was there. It seemed to happen in slow motion, a cold feeling of dread exploding within him. He felt himself shoved aside, he saw the deadly weapons cut into her, he even felt some of her blood splatter across him as he hit the dirt and instinctively rolled back to his feet in a smooth motion. But he couldn't move... He eyes were drawn to fallen woman. He didn't even know her; yet she'd placed herself between him and the enemy. "Hell no..." He whispered in horror. These... Murderous bastards... He couldn't think of any words to express the rage burning through him.
The soldiers were still coming toward the, who was standing stiffly with his head down and eyes fixed on the earth; trembling violently from head to foot. "Damn it... You guys... Have really crossed a line, that you shouldn't have dared to come close to..." The next instant, his head snapped up; a fire in that intensely hued gaze. He wanted to hurt them, to make them suffer... To make them feel some of the agony they had caused... The hands were brought together in a flash and he crouched once more; the ground they all stood on seemed to tremble. Then from either side of the street; cylindrical pillars of stone exploded from the buildings, extending horizontally across the road. The flat ends of the two rock formations came together dead center in the road; the surviving soldiers had been caught in between. A pool of blood was spreading across the ground beneath the now joined pillars; along with bits of scrap metal and people.
The blond youth remained crouched on the ground; clutching his head in both hands. Yes, he'd seen hell... But this... Killing... It was horrifying to the point of causing sever trauma, he couldn't wrap his mind around the fact that he'd just killed around 9 men. 9 men wouldn't return to their families and friends tonight. Because of him... He wanted the earth to just open up and swallow him, take him away from this... But now... Neither disappearing nor dying were options... He had someone to return to; someone a murder like himself had no right to spend time with, to love and care for. It was the explosion from above that dragged him out of of stunned stupor; his hands released his head as he finally looked up. Some guy was flying around up there... Somehow avoiding the majority of the attacks being aimed his way. He was flying, wasn't he...? Edward was in too much of a disoriented to be able to tell what was happening anymore. And being half blind by the tears he was trying so hard to hold back didn't help. There was another explosive something sent from the flying man, ending a few more lives. Then the guy was nearby...?
He blinked; a the wetness began to run down his cheeks. How unfair... Why did he have to break down like this is such a dire situation...? That was the thought running through a distant corner of his mind. But he could see better now that water wasn't blurring his vision. He saw the remaining soldiers leveling weapons at them, and an image Alphonse flashed before his eyes. "Alphonse..." He thought miserably. He had to live. There was no other way to return to his precious brother. More blue flashes of alchemic energy flashed across the ground as he fell to his hands and knees; gritting his teeth. 10 foot walls began to rise up from the earth before him and the other man; one wall after another. 3, 5, 8... They formed a protective shield between the soldiers; and the two men, and their fallen comrade. When one wall was destroyed, another would simply rise up from the rubble left behind. But all the energy it was using to make the walls... It was taking its toll. The youth was exhausted after about the first thirty seconds, but he to keep going. "Explosions..." He managed to hiss toward the other man. "I'll distract... You... Explode them..."

Another red dot appeared on the wall that was formed and blew it down as thirteen more soldiers appeared with their weapons aimed at them, auto-aim set to on as the trajectory of the bullets would correct itself based on the speed of the targets. Another red dot appeared on another wall and blew that one down as now a total of twenty-six soldiers were on the field. There was no reaction from the soldiers that died prior to their arrival, they didn't even scream.
The two would soon find themselves surrounded as the enemy blew down their defenses and swarmed the place with more soldiers, bullets flying and a chainsaw ready for any who decided to close in. Meanwhile Maricul would rise up to her feet and grab one of the soldiers, biting into him and drinking his blood. The soldier didn't react to being bitten and then knocked the woman away. Thankfully that was all the blood she needed to regenerate from the previous chainsaw attack as she separated herself from the soldier quickly lest a second chainsaw take her down again.
“Still alive.”
A grim expression was on her features however as the reality of the situation was settling in.

As he darted into the sky once more he notice the woman come back to life. He then noticed that she wasn't human, for the price of humanity was death. He sent blast after blast at the main force that came their way until they were all blown to bits. He turned to the newcoming group but he didn't have the strength to maintain the super saiyan transformation let alone blow them away.
Goku Jr. was tired and he could only imagine the other guy was as well but he has almost reached his limit. His blond/gold hair and cyan eyes faded back to black and dark blue as he floated to the ground, now feeling the pain from the cut on his chest now. Blood seeped from the wound more profusely now. Now on the ground he found it hard to stand. He had never used the transformation that long and he now realized it can take a lot out him. "Any...any more ideas?", the boy asked heavy breathed. Despite his potential to be a powerful fighter, he was still a novice and definitely had his limits set near from where he was.

He couldn't keep going. The ground was already completely ravaged from all of the alchemy, he had never used so much at one time. While there was plenty of rubble for him to work with in creating more defenses, he was just about out of steam. Whatever was up in the sky, sending out that laser thing; they would have to destroy it in order to end this fight. As as he had no idea how high up it was; or where it was at that... There was no way they could end this fight like that. He was drenched in sweat, starting to fight back the wetness of his eyes. As yet another one of his walls exploded; bit of rock and shrapnel flew in all directions; too close to him. He felt the sting of many small cuts opening up, heard the sound of rubble bouncing of his metal limbs. His blond hair was starting to come out of its braid; strands were sticking to his sweaty neck. How much longer could he draw this out? No more than five minutes at the most. They'd have to make an escape somehow...
The other man had sent his explosive attacks into the soldier ranks; but he too was wearing down. Edward shot a sideways glance at him, and watched as he seemed to transform into a more... Well, normal being. He was no longer flying, and was apparently finding it extremely difficult to stand up. It was then that his golden eyes grew wide as he noticed the woman was back on her feet. She was alive?! He wasn't sure exactly how she'd survived that, but seeing her on her feet once more drove away some of the disorienting despair which had been weighing him down. She hadn't died for him; which meant he didn't have another lost life resting on his shoulders. He felt fresh energy surge through his weary limbs as his head cleared. If she could still fight, he could as well. The youth raised his head, though he remained on his hands and knees with an occasional flash of blue extending from the ground under his palms.
He'd stopped making walls, and was trying to gather all of his remaining energy for a few final defensive maneuvers. In response to the other guy, he said in a low voice. "We have only two options... Surrender or escape." He smiled weakly as his arms trembled with exhaustion. They had only four walls between them and their enemies now. "I don't know about you, but I'm certainly not going to surrender. I'm punching out of here." He took a deep breath, calming his shot nerves as blood continued to seep sluggishly from his many wounds. "Get close to me if you're coming. You too, Lady." He looked toward the woman. "You guys will be killed if you stay, I'm sure of it." He jerked his head toward the building to their left. "I'm going over a few blocks to put some distance between the soldiers and myself, then I'll be looking for a place to lay low. Are you two coming or not?"

“Already dead.”
Maricul drew a black book from her jacket, 'Diary of a Night Angel' printed on the cover in white letters as she flipped the book open and the pages came falling out. They spun around the three acting as a barrier against the bullets, the chainsaw and the little red dot in the sky. A silent chant fell from her lips as the air around them began to drop in temperature. A storm brewed over the horizon and rain fell down from the heavens. The soldiers outside the barrier adjusted their vision accordingly to see through the rain and those attacked by Goku Jr. withstood the blast and continue to press forward but the change in weather blinded the eye in the sky and allowed the three a chance to escape without needing to worry about more troops being teleported to their area.
“Grab the kid, I know a place we can lay low.”
Maricul moved forward, the barrier repelling the soldiers as she moved while staying out of the path of the null grenades being hurled at them. Already the patrols in the area were setting up generators to assist the armored defense team. They needed to get away before the patrols were finished.

"Wait up... mister.." Goku Jr. started walking toward the guy with his the top of his gi now drenched in blood. He felt.... colder? Yes.. definately colder. He could probably run or jog away for a while, but not fly let alone fight back. He looked behind him to see the soldiers advancing. He felt a tang of anger that he couldn't stop them from the air, but his growing exhaustion eased it out. He was just a kid.. and he was definately human.
"My... my chest hurts Mister.."

"What... The hell..." He murmured under his breath as pages of a book created some sort of shield between them and the guards. He still had no idea who this woman was... But she had survived being sliced open by a chainsaw, she freakishly fast and skilled with her chosen weapon, and she could make a shield out something as simple as a book... He was quite glad by the point that he wasn't on her bad side. Or he hoped he wasn't... She showed no interest in killing or harming him, so he could only assume they were on the same side for now. And now it was raining... Well damn... He'd just have to hope his arm and leg didn't rust. But the rain was apparently making it difficult for whatever was in the sky to keep attacking them.
Then he heard her order, and he obeyed without arguing for once. He hated taking orders from anyone, even Roy Mustang; who was his superior back in his own world. The guy came up then, and he really did look like a broken kid... And severely wounded as well. Feeling a pang of unexpected worry, the blond youth stood up shakily. Without hesitation, he turned his back on the kid and crouched again. "Get on my back, we're not leaving without you. And just call me Edward, there's no need for any 'Mister' to be directed at me." He waited for the kid to get on his back, and then he would run directly to the woman. He didn't want the guy to feel like he was being treated like a kid, it was in an attempt to save the guy's pride that Edward hadn't just picked up up like a child. Being carried on another's back was much more dignified.
