"Fine."--- The red dot appeared on the back end of Garrus's cover he would literally find himself at impossible odds of survival soon enough. The shot fired through the smog dropping thirteen more troops who all instantly broke into two groups, six grappled up the side of the building to intercept Kragen, the other seven took place and cautiously spread out trying to get sight of the Alien who accidentally blind-fired one of the chainsaw troops into hell. --- Kragen would find the troops to be more of a pain in the ass than anything else as they stormed the room he was in before. They made fast to chasing after him and stopped just before the door. If Kragen was watching he'd notice one roll past then chainsaws came to life as they cut through the walls entering the room. --- "If you're to be so worthless then I will awaken your true potential. Releasing control art restriction system to fubar."Gabe's eyes opened wide and his torso lifted up, his head and his feet still touched the ground but the rest of his body was contorting upward painfully. His arms were spread out, his mouth gasping open in shock. His eyes glazed over extremely blood shot before the familiars burst from his husk leaving nothing behind. The troops in front of Garrus would suddenly be pulled directly into this raid of pure darkness their silence was almost as horrific as the chomping and ripping sounds, the blood flying from the black mist. It would only be moments before the troops on the flank of Garrus would get in range but then something burst from the darkness wielding the .454 Casull and the 13mm Jackal. He landed on his feet and began walking forward, Gabe had a new stride to him as he fired both weapons literally empowering them with his darkness, the first shot that left the 13mm shattered the windows in the area. The bullet hit its target square in the chest throwing him off his feet and splashing the contents of his chest all over the ground behind him. "Don't fuck, with my people."

To follow up the turnaround brought about by the Spokesman releasing his power, the Genius successfully bypassed the firewalls on the platform above to temporarily take it offline, leaving behind a lock for Vulture to have to rework while the resistance took care of the ground team below.
“The space platform has been taken offline. This should give you guys enough time to wrap things up down there.”
Meanwhile the Genius picked up a sudden boom of paranormal activity on the other side of town where the platform had sent troops to terminate the source. The readings similar to that of the man they had assisting them against the Vulture.
“Interesting...”

Kragen threw a stun grenade at the advancing troops at first but when it went off it did little to slow them down. The Ex-Soldier fired upon the chainsaw wielding soldiers cutting their way through the walls with the HKG3 before switching to the HK45 pistol for more precise shots.

Garrus appeared to be up shit creak without a paddle until the Spokesman came guns blazing against the enemies that had surrounded him. It was right on time too as Genius had successfully managed to hack into the space platform and give them time to not have to worry about the little red dot, but there was still a matter of the soldiers storming Kragen and then communications with HQ suddenly went out as he could no longer speak to Genius. Garrus Vakarian Something's wrong. I can't reach the base.

The slaughter continued with Gabe downing the last of the targets with some of the best sharpshooting ever seen from a pistol user. He landed on his feet once again and the familiars broke away from him. Gabriel turned to Garrus, "The Vulture probably got to it."--- Kragen didn't have much movement room here, his shots blasted into the targets doing little damage except for a few that found weak spots in the armor and sprayed the back wall with blood, however the targets continued to move forward despite their fatal wounds. One moment Kragen would be looking at a large group of soldiers, the next nothing but shadow as a wave of familiars burst past him taking the soldiers out smashing them all against the wall and mauling them and even breaking down the wall causing a few of them to land on their heads paralyzing them for easy food. --- "Your other man is fine. By the sounds of it your head quarters is compromised."--- In orbit, a man stood upon the Novalith Platform with a coffee mug in his hand. He was wearing full officer gear complete with a gas mask and hat. How he was drinking his coffee was beyond the technicians and scientists around him on the station. This man was simply known as The Captain. He watched the screen as his soldiers were suddenly mauled down and his station shut down. "Scientist guy, get this doo-dad back online and fire zee cannon!"The scientist lowered his glasses, "We are trying Captain.""Try harder. Remember, I vetoed replacing you all with llamas, if not for me, you'd all be floating in space right now.""Yes Captain."

Nowhere to run, Kragen started reaching for a real grenade. If this was how his story would end then he'd make sure these soldiers would regret ever following him into this room but before he could remove the pin shadows engulfed the room and the Vulture's troops never even saw it coming.
The Ex-Soldier took this moment to flee the room and continued down the hall still on yellow alert in case anymore of those things showed up. Not finding anymore coming out of the woodwork he grabbed his radio and tried to contact HQ only to hear static and Baby, baby, baby oh! on the other side. Confused he then contacted Garrus. "Garrus, what's the situation over there?"

Garrus Vakarian Things are fine for now but we lost contact with HQ. If Vulture has finally found them out the place was most likely a death trap by now. Getting inside wasn't going to be easy but they needed to get there as soon as possible. They couldn't stay out here either way as there was no way of telling when that space platform would come back online and without the base, or Genius, they were screwed. Garrus Vakarian We need to get back there ASAP! Garrus looked over to Gabe. Garrus Vakarian I don't suppose you'll consider joining us?

"You might, but I have other matters to deal with first." Gabriel said holstering both of his weapons. His familiars returning to him and slowly fading away as they arrived, the darkness as well removed itself from the field of play.
Gabe stood just as he did before, seemingly a well dressed man with a rather intimidating stare, "I'd say you should hurry along now. Seems you're people are fucked."

"I'm on my way." Kragen put his radio away and with his HK45 still raised he hurried out of the room and to the quickest possible route back to the Resistance HQ.

Garrus nodded. There was no time to argue, no point to it either. The Rebel Turian thanked Gabe for his assistance and then took off to meet up with Kragen to aid the Resistance base. They've came too far to lose everything now. If the base couldn't be saved then the members could at least make it out alive.

"I think it right time to watch."
The darkness and familiars surrounded Gabe and they slowly slumped to the ground until nothing was left. The scene around the area was wrecked. The building was on the verge of falling down, there was hundreds of bullet holes in every surface. Giant ruts in the concrete from where the cannon was being fired off.
No bodies remained, only blood pools and giblets. The damage was done, even if he didn't achieve what he came here for this time. It didn't matter at all if the rebels fell.
