Kara made it to Jherrazad first before the Moon Valley refugees that would soon occupy a large portion of the desert city once they arrived. The Woman of Steel was good friends with Chloe so their stay shouldn't be all that difficult to work out and she would be more than happy to work with the Empress to make it easier on everyone. But it was only a matter of time before Ranko's army came knocking down their door as well. It would be unwise to get comfortable living here.
Entering the castle, Kara set the three women down and began healing them all. First she healed the stab wound of Aminee and Utena to stop the bleeding and revive their strength before walking over to Sailor V and healing her paralysis, giving her back the use of her legs before looking around for Chloe. "Chloe? Chloe, where are you?" Receiving no answer the Woman of Steel turned back to her friends and waited for them to come to.

Utena stared up at the familiar castle ceiling as Kara began to heal her, trying her hardest to stay awake as she knew she may not wake up if she allowed her eyes even a brief moment of rest. Feeling the bleeding stop and the wound closed, Utena slowly sat up to a sit and looked around, her eyes stopping on Aminee and quickly going into a panic as she crawled over to her side and grabbed her hand.
"Aminee? Aminee, please wake up. Aminee!"
Utena looked over to Kara.
"Kara, she's- she's not responding!"

Sailor V could feel the feeling in her toes as Artemis tickled her nose with licks from his tongue. Waking up, the Soldier of Justice was able to sit up with no pain to speak up and was able to feel her legs below her waist. It was a miracle, she was no longer paralyzed. Hugging Artemis, Sailor V would soon stand up to her feet and look over to Superwoman. "Thank you, Superwoman. I owe you my life." Her happiness was only temporary however as the smile faded away when she saw the state of Utena's friend and just stood there silent.

There was silence at first and then the Pop Idol was finally able to muster out, "Utena..." trailing off for a moment before resuming her speech. "Please stop screaming in my ear." A cough parted her lips and she tried to see if she could move, slowly at first she rose up to a sit before stretching her body and bringing her fingers to her back at the place she was stabbed to find no wound. Confused, Aminee looked up to Kara. "What happened? Why are we in Jherrazad?"

"The city is lost," answered an inhuman voice.
Demetrios had followed Superwoman every step of her retreat, and now walked into view, his very armour sounding as bitter as his stereophonic drawl. He cast a sweeping glance over Aminee, Utena and Sailor V. "Seems you three barely got out of there with your lives."
Shouldering Diabolus, he turned to regard the caped woman who'd saved them. "You seem to be the de facto leader of this ragtag defence. I am Demetrios, and as long as those smug ninja and their leader live, I would pledge my blade to your stand against them."

Kara looked over at Utena with a heavy heart as she tried desperately to get Aminee to wake up. Relief would become visible in the Goddess' eyes as the Pop Idol finally came to and spoke to Utena. It allowed Kara to turn her focus to Sailor V who was now thanking her for her help. "Don't mention it." Her attention soon went back to Aminee when she asked her question but before she could say anything, one of the other warriors from the battle would beat her to it.
Kara looked over to Demetrios who appeared as a demon on the outside but the Goddess knew there was much more about him than met the eye. She couldn't see any evil in him, or anything that would warrant being cautious around his presence. Maybe a little bit of an ego but from Kara's experience that was a common thing. Especially in men. "Thank you, Demetrios. I believe I speak for everyone here when I say we appreciate it."

Utena never thought she could be so happy at the sound of somebody's voice until the Pop Idol spoke. She wrapped her arms around Aminee and hugged her tightly in response, overjoyed by the woman's recovery but that joy was soon removed when the reality of the situation came settling in and she saw the look of despair on Kara's face. Pulling away from Aminee Utena slowly got up to her feet, trying not to strain herself, and looked over to Sailor V and Demetrios.
"I'm Utena, Utena Tenjou."
After the greeting she looked back to Kara.
"What are we going to do? It's only a matter of time before they come marching here and we only have so many places to retreat to before our backs are to the wall. What are we going to do?"

"Moon Valley isn't lost we can still get it back. We just have to find their weakness and exploit it." Artemis stood by Sailor V's side choosing to remain silent as despite everything a talking cat was still pushing the envelope and he didn't want to explain who he was and why he could talk on top of everything else. The Soldier of Justice refused to accept that Moon Valley was beyond saving which put a frown on Artemis' face. Sooner or later she would have to learn the hard way that she couldn't save everyone, or everything. He hoped however that was not a lesson she would have to learn now and that Moon Valley was indeed capable of being revived. "Now let's put our heads together and think."

Aminee groaned in pain at Utena's hug but endured it for her sake before getting back up to her feet. "Are we the only ones who made it out?" She was all for getting Moon Valley back as the next person here but if they were all that remained 'small mountain town' was about to take on a whole new meaning.

Committing exchanged names to memory, Demetrios tapped an armoured finger against Diabolus' hilt. The skulls engraved in the flat of the blade exuded a faint, ethereal blue flame from their eye sockets.
"Seems that way so far," he answered Aminee. "The whole place will have been overrun by now, and that army didn't look the type to suffer prisoners." Cynical, but probably very close to the truth.
He turned, looking around the vaulted hall they had been brought to. "If we're to figure out a means of defeating them, we'll need to be able to meet them on the battlefield. That will require finding allies somewhere." He turned about again, facing Superwoman. "Which, I assume, is why you brought us here."

It all came flooding back into Utena as quickly as she had forgotten, her eyes filled with fear for one person in particular as she ran over to Kara and grabbed her in a fright. Needing to know the answer now or she'd never be able to focus on anything for the rest of the day.
"June, Tori, did they get out!"
Utena's body was shaking and she couldn't control it as she dreaded the answer that would leave Kara's lips.
"Please tell me they made it out. Please!"

Before Kara could answer Aminee's question she had Utena hanging on her, begging for an answer to her question while fearing the worst. The Woman of Steel gently placed her hands on Utena's and guided them off of her as she replied, "They're fine. Tori, June, the rest of my friends, their families and my family made it out all right and are on their way here now." After putting Utena's mind at ease she turned back to the others. "Yes, actually. I'm good friends with the Empress here and she wields her own Kasul blade that can counteract Ranko's. She also has friends in both Isafaro and Hallowton who can help us."

Utena released a sigh of relief at the news and then began to relax as she pulled away from the Woman of Steel. Losing the only place she called home here was one thing, but if June was taken right along with it Utena wouldn't have known what she'd do. More than likely she'd drift back into the madness that had taken over such a large portion of her life since coming here, something she's been battling hard against every day and everything in the universe seems to want to push her right back into it. Not this time, this time would be different.
"You're a god, surely you must know what their weakness is right?"

"Defeat Ranko, take command of the army and order them back to the Netherrealm." The others' attention would be taken to the Empress of Jherrazad herself as she entered the throne room and answered Utena's question before Kara could even open her lips. Her eyes looking at everyone that fought bravely back in Moon Valley, Firebrand and Alexander Anderson being the only ones from the Moon Valley defense team that didn't arrive but she didn't expect either one to. Especially Anderson, not given Jherrazad nature and not given how easily Noob Saibot could track him now.
"The Empress of Jherrazad I presume," said Sailor V. Chloe only nodded as her eyes finally fell upon the Goddess of Jherra who was now looking to her aid to stop the impending Netherrealm invasion. "You will lose." Came her cold reply before Kara could even ask her question. "Again, and again, and again unless you take advantage of the powers that has arrived here in Jherra. The unknown and the Necromancer you met in Isafaro, the Ajerian that has appeared in Hallowton and the avatar of the Arashi who has returned to the resurrected holy city. What you have now isn't enough."

"Excuse me! A little lost here, still new to the whole 'Demons are real' thing but how exactly does beating Ranko give us her entire army? Wouldn't they be a little more on the pissed off side that their leader was beaten and decide to maul us?"
