Quan Chi used his sorcery to redirect the flames and began burning the surrounding city, causing the building Utena set down on to collapse by the time her feet touched the roof of the shop. Though he could no longer attack the mental state of Aminee the damage has already been done as he looked towards the woman with a smirk on his face. |

Noob took the energy beam to the face and was blasted back into the army knocking several soldiers off their feet in the process. His body would phased through the ground after landing right before the flames and the bayonets were launched. |

Amidst the chaos of the marauding demons, a blade was swung; and beside the advance of Quan Chi and Noob Saibot, an entire abandoned building exploded into fragmented debris and a great cloud of concrete dust. More soldiers ventured into the veil to investigate, and their shredded body parts were soon flung back through it into the midst of their brethren. Through the shifting dust came a towering figure, ablaze with cerulean light. With each heavy step, the metallic clanks of plate armour echoed menacingly, counterpointed by the loud death rattles of one such unfortunate soldier...
That soldier, its legs rent from its body, was clutched at the throat by the monster that marched through the dust. While it clawed desperately at the armoured hand that held it, howling in pain, blazing azure eyes swept across the battlefield; beneath their deathly stare, the soldiers cowed and stepped back.
With a mere flick of his wrist, he snapped the neck of the demon in his grasp and unceremoniously tossed the corpse aside. His grip upon the colossal, jagged sword in his right hand tightened.
"Who commands these pitiful excuses for demons?"

Firebrand wasn't strong enough to stop being abruptly pulled out of his burning spree. Down he went, like a sack of potatoes. Firebrand did have some control over his trajectory, turning at the last minute to avoid the holy priest. He still went head first into the ground with dirt flying everywhere.
Fire started snaking up the rope, blazing a bright orange. The gargoyle demon was still alive, and burst out of the depression in a... white blur? Yeah, Luminous Body had been activated, and he wasn't holding back this time. The wound had stopped bleeding, but was still present, thanks to the sudden jump in power.
He seemed to just split into many the moment he went into the sky, bright orange streams of fire bombarding the emerging archers. Firebrand was far more faster than before, granted, but could he keep it up?
Another challenge accepted! |

It was probably a good thing that Firebrand avoided Anderson completely. The priest wasn't known for his compassion against unnatural things. Had the creature gotten too close he would of probably filled it with every kind of blade imaginable. Tragedy Averted.
The priest continued to walk forward, he opened the bible once again, "Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth."
A smile came across his face, every single bayonet in the area glowed brightly, "AMEN!"
Every bayonet sticking out of a body, every one of them laying at Ranko's feet, and even the ones that had missed and stuck from the ground suddenly exploded. The priest walked between the columns of fire with the sharpest smile of them all.

Sailor V reached up to the rope the spear was at the end of and yanked it out of Firebrand, using her strength to also yank the other end out of Scorpion's hands before swinging it towards Utena and wrapping it around her waist, pulling her back away from the collapsing building that was beneath their feet so when Firebrand hit the ground the three of them would land nearby. Upon landing the Soldier of Justice checked on the other two. "Are you girls all right?"

The Pop Idol was still too far gone thanks to Quan Chi's warping her mind to fully understand what was happening around her. Fortunately enough for Aminee she didn't have to, Utena pulled her back towards them and Sailor V ensured their safety from there after Firebrand was momentarily knocked out of the sky and they managed to avoid the arrows. When Sailor V would ask her question however all she'd get in return was another scream of pain as the Pop Idol started hitting her head against the ground to force the images out. "For the love of God somebody make it stop!"

Unable to drain Ranko's life force Kara turned her efforts against the flames that began consuming the buildings around them, using her powers to put out the fire and cast a protective barrier around the people inside the burning buildings allowing them to escape unharmed. Hearing Utena's cries to Anderson Kara's eyes went on the opened seal up ahead where Ranko's army was continuing to emerge from making any decrease to their number hopeless. When the bayonets by Ranko's feet exploded and the smoke formed between them from the resulting blast blocking her from the Crimson Devil's vision, Kara used that opening to close the seal to stop the merging of realms and cut off any more soldiers from entering Moon Valley.

When the soldiers were destroyed there was nowhere for their souls to go other than back to the Netherrealm where their bodies were reconstructed and they returned out of the portal to begin again. It truly was hell but it allowed Ranko to have an infinite army of soldiers and every casualty that weren't on their side would be added to theirs. It was the perfect army.
The field had changed in Ranko's favor as the Netherrealm merging with Genesis increased the strength of the unholy army while decreasing the holy powers of the Priest. The soldiers began to appear more unstoppable and frightful than before, attacking Anderson to push back his advance on their Queen as more soldiers stepped up with assaults on Demetrios and Sailor V. Winged beasts took to the air matching Firebrand's speed as while this was happening Superwoman could feel her authority over the continent fading fast the more the two realms came together.
Ranko was momentarily stunned when the bayonets exploded, her endurance high enough for it to be only a minor inconvenience as now none could see her thanks to the smoke. She quickly recovered while Superwoman was still attempting to close the seal and the Crimson Devil responded with an Upper Slash to interrupt, launching Superwoman through the air and then followed up an Aerial Rave and a Downward Slash to slam her back down into the ground, Kasul's ability to cut through the air itself making distance irrelevant as Ranko didn't even need to move from her spot. |

Scorpion vanished in midair, the only trace of where he once stood being the left behind hellfire as he reappeared by Sailor V side and delivered a hellfire punch straight for the biscep of the warrior as she dealt with the fallen angels that attacked. |

Thanks to Sailor V Utena avoided falling from the collapsing building and was now safe, at least as safe as one can be in this situation, by Sailor V and Aminee's side.
"I'm fine. What's happening with Aminee?"
Utena went over to check on her and tried to get her to stop banging her head against the ground but that was when the soldiers came their way. Drawing her Rapier, the former Champion of Ohtori helped Sailor V fight them off before seeing Scorpion appear by Sailor V. Acting quickly, Utena was able to get herself between Sailor V and Scorpion just in time to block the hellfire punch with her sword but the blow knocked her back and her weapon broke on impact. But it gave Sailor V a chance to launch a counter attack against the ninja.

"Let's see what you think when you join them!"He released a wave of energy meant to remove his soul but he was knocked back for his trouble, unable to do anything against the soul of the knight in front of him. "What!?"But how?

Anderson would suddenly feel like he was losing control of his own body when the fallen angels came, Noob had reappeared blending in with the paladin's very shadow and used his phantom abilities to force him to run himself through with his own bayonets. |

"I don't know she just started to-" Sailor V wouldn't be allowed to finish her sentence as the soldiers came once again. With her chains and spear from Scorpion, the Soldier of Justice fought them off with Utena before the ninja reappeared by her side. After Utena took the blow for her Sailor V tossed her the spear to use in battle and unleashed multiple combos against the ninja treating her chain as a pair of nunchucks.

The Pop Idol was helpless to do anything about the mental images in her mind, and therefore could be of no further use in this fight. Just wanting the nightmare to finally end, Aminee grabbed one of the swords from a fallen soldier of the invading army, bringing it up to her chest and began to shed tears as she was prepared to run herself through with the sword. "I just want it to stop!"
