Aminee felt something grabbed her below and she looked down in shock as the hands of zombies grabbed her and proceeded to pull her down into the ground. She attempted to fight it off but that struggle would end abruptly as something else started pulling up on her arms. The Pop Idol would scream in pain, shock entering into her systems when she saw the additional enemy trying to stretch her was her own shadow but she would be saved by the intervention of Sailor V. The Pop Idol would need a moment to recover from the stretching but once she did, she aimed her 9mm towards the Sorcerer and fired at his chest.

Superwoman could see the Life Force of everything around her flowing in great currents where ever she turned. When she saw the Life Force of her friends begin to dimmer she quickly acted to revive it, returning the rest of her friends and allies shadows back to normal and binding them to protect them from being controlled by the enemy. When Ranko came forward with Kasul, Kara grabbed the flat ends of the blade, unable to have her Life Force be drained because of its now infinite supply, and pushed the blade to the side before hitting Ranko back with an elbow.

The soldiers began pushing Utena, Aminee and Sailor V back with their strength, swords at the ready, forcing them into the center of town with little move to maneuver and pick up offense while they were still rebounding from the last attack. Aminee's bullets bouncing off a soldier's armor before they could even reach Quan Chi.
Meanwhile, Ranko was knocked back by the elbow but kept her footing and this time with a simple swift motion of Kasul, cut through the dimensional barriers between them unleashing a powerful vortex of destruction in the Goddess' face. |

Scorpion watched the soldiers fall back into each other after Utena moved out of the way, but the overwhelming number of them was enough to force them into the center of the city where Scorpion would appear before Utena again this time with his sword aimed to plunge into her stomach. |

Utena saw her shadow come to life in the reflection of one of the soldiers that came at her armor, quickly turning and kicking it away before Kara undid the spell that turned their own shadows against them. However things would not start to be looking up as the soldiers forced them all to a single point to be cut down. When Scorpion appeared Utena barely had enough time, not to mention room, to leap back and come back with a strike of her own against his sword.
"We need to cut ranks!" she said to the others. "We'll be crushed!"

With a simple wave of the hand Quan Chi attacked the mental prowess of Aminee, bringing her worst nightmare back to the forefronts of her mind to terrorize her again. Suddenly the memory of that day in the prison would come flooding back, the feeling of helplessness, not being able to do anything as the group of guards forced themselves on her ignoring her cries and pleads to stop. Nothing else would register with the Pop Idol's mind and it would feel as if she was back in that prison, having never left, being raped again and again. |

Once again Sailor V found herself gasping for air as the shadow ninja choked her. Thinking quickly the Soldier of Justice held up the palm of her free hand and blasted Noob Saibot away with an energy beam at point blank sending him crashing right into the surrounding soldiers. Coughing, Sailor V spun her chain around in the air and then threw it upward around the ankle of Firebrand who was flying in the sky above them and reached out for the others. "Grab on!" They were going flying.

They were crowded, cramped, trapped. Just like that night at the prison. "No!" The memory was coming back more stronger than ever before, flashes of men pinning her down and tearing off her clothes going off in her mind. She thought she was pass this, it has been ages since the last episode but now it was back as if it has been storing up energy to hit her again in one single unbearable wave of anguish. The Pop Idol let out a loud scream and fell to the ground away from Sailor V's reach as her gun dropped to the ground soon after. "Make it stop! Make it stop!"

Another breeze had caught his wings, and up he went, high into the sky. That was when somebody decided to hook onto his ankle. Firebrand squeaked in confusion, then roared in rage. His mind was made up. He'd fight for the humans. The gargoyle demon collected a huge fireball, and flung it at the advancing army, incinerating all it impacted with.
Fire streams flew out of his mouth like a dragon, incinerating more of the advancing demons. The fire abruptly changed to Dark Fire, deep purple flames licking and peeling the flesh of any it touched. Firebrand was now pissed. He was being used as a transport and those demons were the cause of it. He was not intended to be used as transport, dammit!
Massive patches of fire still clung to the floor, both orange and purple. Dark fireballs were spat in huge waves at Quan-chi, at Noob, at Scorpion, and at all of the other demons who were invading. Firebrand was the master of fire magic! He was proving it to the advancing army.
Since he was high in the sky, and he was tiny, his form would be hard to hit. Ashes of former demons were everywhere, and more were still burning. He was taking it all on by his tiny self.

A lone priest was walking toward the fray, he had only been late for he was evacuating his friend and their neighbor who had lost her mother recently. He told them their blessings and went about his way.
Now he was walking with a large King James bible in his hands reading from it with every step, "Father, I abandon myself into yer hands; do with me what you will. Whatever you may do, I thank you: I am ready for all, I accept all."
"Into your hands I commend my soul. I offer it to you with all the love of my heart, for I love you, Lord, an' so need to give myself, to surrender myself into your hands without reserve, and with boundless confidence, for you are thy Father."
The priest stopped at the edge of the battle just outside of the fighting. He looked up to the hillside where he sat a week prior eating an apple and watching the children play, where he spoke his faith to a woman and joined her cause. Even though he knew this day was coming, it pissed him off.
The priest smiled sharply, his smile was that of insanity, of a mission unfinished. When he spoke now he literally yelled, "I am the wrath o' god! Thy holy hand of which you command! I shall breath them with my power! Be wise now therefore ye kings! Be admonished ye judges of the earth! Serve thy Lord with FEAR! and rejoice with trembling! This can be over with one swing of my sword, AAAAAAAAAMEN!”
As the book slammed shut in his hand, his left hand raised and he swiped it forward, the path he swiped hundreds of Holy Silver Bayonets launched for the advancing army.

Superwoman drained the Life Force in the vortex and caused it to disperse as she continued to advance on the Crimson Devil, meanwhile she shielded the minds of her comrades from any more mental attacks, giving Aminee's peace of mind as she outstretched her hand towards the leader of the army and started exploiting the hole in Ranko's Life Force to drain it to the point where she could no longer fight. A sword without a wielder, even a self-aware one, was still useless.

Several of the soldiers were taken out by Firebrand flames and then they adapted. The fireballs to come after the first several soldiers were hit would be blocked by a barrier produced by an angelic, albeit corrupt, source of energy that made them immune to Firebrand's attack as now archers joined the scene and filled up the red sky with arrows aimed for the demon.
If the bible thumping didn't get the army's attention the bayonets in the chest would. Anderson would take out half a dozen of the advancing fallen angels towards Moon Valley's defenses. They were unable to adapt due to the blessing on the blades remaining pure from taint, unlike them who all fell to sin's warm embrace centuries ago. But for every soldier that was cut down two more would simply take their place, emerging from the gateway to the Netherrealm.
The Crimson Devil watched her vortex be destroyed and then felt the Goddess attacking her Life Force and acted accordingly, feeding herself with the life forces from the souls devoured over the years to revitalize herself and make attacking her Life Force a fruitless effort even for the Goddess.
Then about ten or so bayonets came for her body, all cut down with a single swipe of Kasul, cutting through the air to take them down as she looked over to the Priest.
“Mind the priest and get that demon out of the sky!”
She commanded her army before her dark crimson eyes returned to the Goddess. |

Scorpion blocked the Rapier and watched as Utena was taken away by Sailor V who was using the demon above to escape the reach of the Crimson Devil's army. Evading fireballs that fell from the sky via the creature's wrath the specter also noticed the priest that had entered the fray and then looked back to Firebrand with his palm extended upward to the sky. "GET OVER THERE!"A strong rope shooting out of his hand and stabbed the creature with a spear before using his strength to send the demon and its passengers on a collision course for the blonde priest up ahead. |

Utena grabbed Venus as they began taking off underneath Firebrand but she saw that Aminee had fell to the ground with her hands clamped to her head. Reaching out, Utena's hand could barely reach her but through a miracle she was able to grab onto her just in time before the three took off into the air. Looking down at the battle below Utena's eyes would light up when she saw Father Anderson.
I knew he'd come back, said Utena mentally. "Father! Father, the portal! We have to-!"
But Utena was cut off by the spear that went into Firebrand and then dropped down against the rooftop of one of the shops down below next to the road the conflict was taking place, abandoning ship.
