Quan Chi waited for the Crimson Devil to close off that distance and launch her attack, as soon as she did he vanished. This time reappearing up from above and coming down fast with a series of stomps to the former Empress of Jherrazzad's head. |

Prepared, the Crimson Devil quickly regained her momentum with amazing speeds and held Kasul over her head making sure that the Sorcerer would land right into a Prop Shredder on his way down. |

Quan Chi underestimated her speed and reaction time as he headed straight for a Prop Shredder. There was no time to teleport again and the rules of gravity still applied even in the Netherrealm so there were nowhere to go but down. He crash landed right into the spinning blade, blood falling from multiple wounds across his body as Kasul went to work on draining his strength soon after which he fell to the ground by the Crimson Devil's feet. Defeated. |

That was it, the battle was over and the impossible has occurred. A prisoner of the Netherrealm broke free of their binds and managed to overthrow its ruler. A feat that has never been accomplished before. Ranko waited for Quan Chi to make it up to his knees as she brought Kasul underneath his chin and lifted up his head to look her in the eye as she spoke at length.

"I will serve!"Quan Chi spat, disgusted by the words that came from his lips but he had no choice. He was at the whim of the Crimson Devil and his survival was the most important thing. The Sorcerer's has been dethroned and now a new ruler arose from the ashes of his reign as King, as Pluto fell to his might so many years ago.

"I will serve!"
Ranko lowered the demon blade from his neck and returned it to her sheathe as she looked around to the legions of demons that now bowed before her. The chain of command had passed to her the second Quan Chi admitted defeat and the power of the Netherrealm was hers now.
“Come. The time of being sealed away beneath the Human World is at an end. On this day, we march to Genesis to watch the world burn.”
The demons exploded in what sounded like applauds, but they merely released their malice and anger to the world above as the Crimson Devil, the Queen of the Netherrealm, led them on the path to finish unleashing the hell that Intergang began with Doomsday. |
