Continued from: New in Town IntermissionHe responded to Daikus, "You know who you're talking to.""Open fire!" Every soldier in sight fired on Gabriel. Their bullets however never hit their target as black wisps shot around him swatting bullet for bullet out of the air. If you were to examine the scene you'd of just saw black streaks all around him. Their support units reach for their grenades to null his power but the scene was too quick for them to pull the pins. Gabriel's face was covered by shadows, his eyes burned through the haze with bright red glowing eyes. The familiars burst from the floors of the tavern and from the sewers, the sky, everywhere around him. They slammed the area in front him and left a bloody massacre of body parts and remnants of living humans. Those inside the buildings would find no peace as the hell hounds ripped through the shadows gnawing them to pieces. The first bit of damage to hit Gabriel came from the sniper down the street. His silver bullet caught the broad side of one of the dark tendrils but it shattered on impact showering the man with fragments of metal. Said sniper wasn't too lucky to be in the open though, the familiar in the sky smashed down on him with it's massive body breaking his legs and pinning him to the ground. It's massive hands reach down and pulled his top half from his bottom and threw it to the hounds. 'Good. Devour them all.'But as the No Life Kings voice sounded in his head the familiars pulled back to his sides. Gabriel looked up to the sky and saw both helicopters pull away when his gaze came on them. This wouldn't be enough though, one of them was blind sided by the monster familiar and taken to the ground where it beat on the cockpit until it destroyed it and pulled the pilot out. Gabriel allowed the other to get away unscathed. Gabe pocketed his hands keeping to the corner of the buildings and he walked the length of the street unbothered by the remaining snipers who knew if they fired on him it would be their demise.

A few days had passed after Anderson told his new friend in Moon Valley that he would be coming this way. He never told her about the vision he saw within' his own books or scrolls. They basically informed him of the abnormally high level of deaths occurring in Isafaro. He was new to this world, but what he did know was that it wasn't at all as bad as his own world. At least the sun still shined during the day.
At first he only watched the damage that was done by this single man. He watched as two beings went to war against an entire mutant army only to have it ruined by a woman in tights. One man interested him, his power was similar to a man he had once dealt with in his own world. The problem was that he lost the man as his body was lifted and burst into black dust and burst in one random direction.
However, gunshots are easy to follow, even this far away. It wasn't the man who guided him here, but the white haired sword user who did. Anderson kept to the roof tops on the blind side of everything, a sniper wouldn't of been able to pick him out because of his position, the only thing that would of spotted him would of been Daikus' jump to the skies.
Even then, he was sure he didn't get seen. Finally the fighting stopped and the snipers moved into place. And finally the man he had been pursuing moved into the streets and annihilated them all and even showed his familiar scout, this meant that he knew the holy man was there the entire time.
Anderson watched the man pocket his hands and walk down the lane, he lept off the building and into the gore crusted streets and followed walking right past the tavern where Daikus was. He was certain that this man was related in some kind of way to the Dracul family.
"He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death."

Gabriel halted his walk when the priest made his movement forward unto him. Several memories in his head flashed of this priest, he was no ordinary man, his holy power was second to none. However, he was bested by Ranka and Alucard before.
Dare this holy man raise his blades Gabriel would be ready to attack. He turned his head and moved his body to face the preaching bible thumper. " And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life."
'Don't encourage him to preach on more about a dead religion. Here I was used to living in a world where I didn't have to hear about the Lord and Jesus Christ. Put this man out of his misery, there is no god here.'

Anderson flicked both of his wrists, three bayonets apiece came to his hands, he held them between his fingers. His face contorted in anger, "Don't you speak the words of the Holy Lord with your filthy unholy mouth."
Even to this holy man, there was something unnatural about him that Gabriel knew. But Gabriel didn't know exactly what was about to happen. Anderson may be a carbon copy of every other iteration by looks and by his cookie cutter fighting style, but this one stood out amongst the rest.
"Angel of God, my guardian dear. To whom God's love commits me here, ever this day, be at my side. To light and guard, rule and guide."
He threw his left hand out to the buildings on his left and his right to the building to his immediate right. Hundreds of bayonets hit the left side, but because of how close they were on the right only a dozen hit there. Anderson pulled a bible from his coat, "AMEN!"
At half power the bayonets synced holy light purifying and amplifying his powers also diminishing any unholy impure powers.

Gabriel pulled his weapons from the air and aimed them at the priest. He knew he still had control of his powers, but he also knew the effects of the purification would mean that every attack Anderson hit him with would do triple the damage and that everything he fired at Anderson may be reduced to a regular 9 mil bullet.
His familiars spread out around him, the Baskerville took to his left side under his arm, while the familiar in the air crashed down onto a building and stared down at the battle that was to happen. The darkness burst for Anderson, it's tendrils shot for his arms. One of the memories in his head was Anderson and Alucard standing in a subway system where Alucard blew both of Andersons arms off to halt the fight.
While this memory wasn't clear he figured it was worth a shot.

Anderson laughed maniacally, he wasn't sure if Gabriel was serious or not. The bible opened and the pages flipped through on their own, the tendrils smashed into a barrier of holy light. As each one did they would break apart on impact shooting their dark fog into the area.
His right hand came to play as a single bayonet came to palm and fingers. His feet marched forward furiously and quickly closing a distance between the two within a mere second. The bayonet came forward treading the light that shined off the purified bayonets in the building walls around them.
"AMEN!"

'The judas priest seems to have the upper hand. Perhaps if you allowed me control.'
Gabriel stepped back as Anderson swept with his blade, the tip of it barely caught him, but went deep enough to draw blood. He felt the burning sensation of holy metals literally boil at his blood and draw his energies away from him.
But now Anderson was in the perfect range. Baskerville would be on him in moments pouncing and attempting to rip the priest to pieces. Even more so, the familiars, the tendrils, everything around Gabriel would crash down on Anderson trying to destroy the priest.
Gabe however continued to step back into the blackness of his familiars mass as everything moved forward.
"It doesn't have to be this way Father"

"Not so fast vile bastard!"
The bible tore itself apart the pages warded back everything. The familiars would be sliced by the hundreds of pages that circled him quickly. The Baskerville Hellhound would of made it through but Anderson lept backwards riddling it with bayonets pinning its body to the ground in a holy star pattern. The bayonets synced with the ones from the walls empowering themselves to reduce Baskerville to just another familiar.
Now that he was in the clear of the street he finished the right wall and painted it with bayonets that fully synced with the ones from the left making the purification 100%.
On top of this the bible pages that had been used to slice through the familiars were destroyed, the bits of paper spread everywhere creating a holy ground for the priest to stand on. He sacraficed yet another holy book and the 1200 pages pinned themselves to the ground. Anderson was in control of the field now.
The familiars would have to halt their charge or face utter domination to the priests holy onslaught. "And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.

'Is this what we've come to? Are you going to allow this man to stand before you and taunt you in the name of god?'
Gabes familiars pulled themselves back without his say so. It didn't come to him as a shock, he could all but taste the holy power in the area. His guns came to life finally firing at the priest in a thick barrage of bullets.
The familiar in the roof top was even more powerful than Baskerville, it was technically the most powerful familiar of his in general. The being jumped from the roof and hit the ground hard leveling two nice craters where its feet hit. Its thick red eyes stared at the priest as it conjured a staff from its energy.
'This is the best you've got? Gabriel, I am not impressed. The Keeper of Souls is a worthless monster.'
The barrier the familiar put between itself and the holy grounds was strong allowing itself protection from the weakening effects of the bayonets and the bible pages. It's free hand pulled a load of dark matter together and threw it in the form of pure energy which rippled the area around it and heading straight for the priest.

"-Let them rise up and help you, and be your protection!"
The holy bayonets came forth from his hands and he turned his body throwing the first wave with the turn, the second wave as he came to a knee. Their bodies gathered the energy of the bayonets around him. The first wave of bayonets hit the dark energy ball. As they made contact Anderson yelled, "AMEN!"
The bayonets imploded sucking in the energy. The second wave of bayonets riddled the 'Keepers' barrier and the Father once again yelled, "AMEN!" These exploded shattering the frontal area of the barrier giving Anderson just a second to move forward.
And he did so, inside the barrier and sunk two twin Bayonets into the massive familiars torso. In that instant he lept back, "AMEN!" The holy bombs went off.

'HAHAH! This man is magnificent. Come on, allow me to destroy him.'
"You'll get no such satisfaction."
The Keepers familiar was annihilated and retreated back into the familiar fog. Anderson however would be back tracking right into Gabriels slaughter of hell hounds. On the opposite end Gabe would once again fire his weapons at the priest.
This time he was sure it wouldn't be avoided by a forward assault of the priest in an opposite direction. Instead he used the keepers left over energy to empower said bullets and aim them straight for the priests core mass.

"STOP TALKIN' T' YERSELF!"
Anderson turned and mowed down the hellhounds with his bayonets. Gabriel fired on him and in one motion Anderson turned and launched a wave of bayonets at the bullets. Each one was perfect in accuracy slicing the bullets in halves. The surviving hellhounds were then plastered with the bullet shards which exploded on impact.
He himself moved forward with that empowered holy speed and aimed his bayonets for Gabriel high and low. It was time to finish this, if Dracula existed in this place Gabriel was the closest thing to him that Anderson had encountered yet. He would cut the beast off before it could truly spread its darkness upon this world as well.

'You truly wish to die?'
Gabriel skirted backwards. His guns raised as he continued to backpedal away from the holy paladin of the light. This was a losing battle for the unholy powers he possessed. It was true that he didn't have nearly enough power to surpass the holy seals in the area but what he needed was just some breathing room to think through a strategy.
Anderson had moved forward in that instant but Gabriel was prepared. He fired as Anderson's bayonets infiltrated his body. The bullets would rip through Anderson's face and chest at this range, even if they wouldn't do the damage required to put the priest down, it would give him a moment to get away.

BANG BANG
Anderson fell back to the shots not hitting the ground he simply let go of the blades and skirted backwards giving Gabe distance. The bullets slowly slid from their positions until they clattered to the ground. "And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord for thee, power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command. We shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti."
He knew by the time he finished speaking Gabriel would have pulled both bayonets from his body. He wouldn't detonate them but instead two more came to his hands and he marched on forward slowly walking, "Are ya feelin' lucky abomination?"

'He taunts you like you're a dog. You're going to allow this?'
Gabriel pulled the first bayonet from his chest and tossed it aside and then the second from his abdomen and tossed it to Anderson's feet around the same time Anderson pushed the bullets from his body. His cloths fixed themselves almost instantly.
His entire body was officially one entity now, his cloths and flesh were as much a part as his familiars and the darkness as it was part of him. Even if his powers were weakened he could still use his body to remain active and unnatural. The part that was killing him the most was the inability to use his dark energies to force his weapons to do damage like they should.
Right about now he was thinking how much he'd like a 13mm anti freak weapon, or that big ass sword that the No Life King carried around. He smugly smirked at Anderson as if he didn't give a single fuck, "Obviously not. But that's going to change soon enough."
