What the hell could have happened recently? Hearing the answer to Utena's question the Pop Idol could only shake her head as a look of disgust crossed her facial features at what Chloe was proposing. "That's not a good enough of a reason." Aminee walked over to Chloe and looked her right in the eye. "It's never a good enough reason."

"How were we supposed to know?" asked Utena.
She didn't get into Chloe's face like Aminee were but her voice was filled with the same level of anger and frustration all the same.
"How were we supposed to know that was their goal? What were we supposed to do, just stand there and watch!?"

Chloe remained where she stood as the Pop Idol got into her face and stared into her eyes intensely. The vampiress however continued to look back in dullness, allowing Aminee to see just how tired she was of this conversation, how many times she's heard it all before. How many times she uttered the same words back in reply. "It matters not." Chloe walked around the Pop Idol and returned to her throne before answering Utena. "The hints were there yet they went unseen. That is why you are being told now; stay out of her way."

Chloe looked like she was going to break, the dullness in her eyes said it all. Just how much of this new power had drain her? Clearly it was doing a toll on her psyche if she was saying the things she were and meant every word of it. Aminee was afraid, she was losing a friend and it didn't feel good. "You have gone mad, Chloe." The Pop Idol turned around to face the vampiress again this time her eyes pleading when she looked into hers from the throne. "Whatever this power is, whatever it's doing to you... You have to relinquish it. Can't you see that it's tearing you apart?"

"Hints!?" repeated Utena, raising her voice.
"We're talking about our survival and we were supposed to leave them to hints!? That's bullshit!"
The former Champion of Ohtori forced herself to breathe in and out, in and out before her face ended up turning red and she snapped on someone. And Chloe was the last person in the world she wanted to snap at and not just because they were friends.
"You know full well we can't do that, Chloe."

"More ways than you know," replied Chloe to Aminee. If only it was that simple. Even if she could bring herself to get rid of Kasul, the knowledge she obtained from Tajna Rasha's abilities would still be there. Various versions of the future all swimming around in her head. The vampiress would never find peace and then there was the matter of the copies of herself already wandering the realms as a result of her use of the powers. It was no longer as easy as relinquishing anymore. "I know," she said to Utena. "But now you know. Now you have no excuse when your intervention kills us all."

"Come on, Utena. There's no point talking to her anymore." The Pop Idol turned around facing away from Chloe, not being able to look at the woman anymore as she teared up at the mere sight of her now. Wiping that tear that's been threatening to fall for a good while now and heading for the exit. The resistance needed to hear this news, conquering the Vulture and freeing Isafaro from his reign won't mean squat if this 'Arashi' destroys them all and if Chloe didn't want to help them then she would find someone else that would.

While the Pop Idol began to take her leave, the former Champion of Ohtori remained standing where she were and openly mourned for her friend who sat upon her throne a shadow of her former self. Utena knew what it was like to slowly lose your mind, though she was certain their situations couldn't be compared by much, it ultimately had the same result in the end. Madness.
"I hope you are able to find the peace of mind I did."
After that Utena said her goodbyes and rejoined with Aminee to depart Jherrazad.

Chloe managed a weak smile to Utena and nodded at her in goodbye before she moved to catch up with Aminee who were already heading out of the castle. When the two finally disappeared in the distance, the vampiress looked up to the ceiling and stared at it aimlessly as she spoke to herself amongst the empty and hollow throne room of Jherrazad's castle.
"We hope so too."
