Garrus quickly got out of the crashed stealth vehicle with his weapon raised. The rebel turian studied his surroundings but he didn't see any signs of the vampire girl who caused them to crash in the first place, but he's been around long enough to know an attacker doesn't just run off like that. She was here somewhere, but where were the question. Keeping his eyes peeled, the archangel spoke to check on his friend: Garrus Vakarian Kragen, are you all right?

"Affirmative." Came Kragen's reply as he climbed out of the crashed vehicle with his HK45 still in hand and ready to fire at the first sign of the monster child that tried breaking through their windshield while still wondering as to the effect his bullets to the head has caused her. His eyes could see the commotion up ahead and knew something big was going on around here and possibly the enemy that attacked them had something to do with it.

Olivia observed the two from afar watching, waiting for the perfect time to strike and when she would it'd be too late for them. With no warning the area directly behind Garrus' position would explode, an explosion of slashes to be precise, strong enough to break through his shields and cause heavy damage to his armor before that beam of light flashed in front of Kragen and the same explosion hit him.

The explosion knocked Kragen onto the ground but he rolled as soon as he fell and quickly got back up to his feet, HK45 never dropping from his hands, his eyes caught the glimpse of something small and clothed in black and he fired towards it with perfect precision.

Garrus also hit the ground but like Kragen he was quick to get back up to his feet and searched his surroundings for the cause of the explosion. The ex-soldier already found a target but he himself couldn't see anything. Preparing a nice surprise for the attacker, the archangel lied in wait and watched out for a clear shot of whoever it was that blocked their path to the Downward Spiral.

Kragen would see the glimpse of black zig, zag pass the bullets and hit him in the face causing another explosion, feeling like a bunch of small blades were slashing through him before the glimpse moved away and took shape, revealing the small twelve year old demon child who attacked them previously. Seeing the grenade Garrus had prepared for the first hint of sight head straight for her, she knocked it back just in time for it to go off on him as she stood there, dagger between her teeth and a smile on her face.

And the moment Olivia fell still, she caught a very large, very precise, hypersonic bullet to the side of the head.
The crash had been watched from the start. Though she had been too fast for an untrained eye to follow, the vampire child was being tracked quite carefully, the muzzle of a sniper rifle following her wherever she leapt. The two resistance fighters had a guardian angel, it seemed - and he had seen fit to raise his weapon against their attacker.
His face was one Garrus would recognise anywhere.

Kragen fell over a second time, damage inflicted upon his clothes and bullet proof vest as he hit the ground. Getting up, the ex-soldier would hear another explosion and a gunshot. Once to his feet he'd see another man at the scene. Having no idea who he was Kragen did as his instincts dictated for him to do and aimed the HK45 towards him. "Identify yourself."

Garrus rolled out of the way of the grenade as it went off and at the sound of a gun going off, he stood up to see a person he thought he'd never laid eyes on again. Garrus Vakarian Shepard! The turian walked over to his old friend and comrade, stepping in when Kragen aimed his weapon towards the Commander. Garrus Vakarian It's all right, Kragen. He's a friend. Garrus looked back to Shepard, the once dead man brought back to life. His death having done more to piss him off than anyone else. Now he was in the same situation Garrus was. Stuck in an unknown world lightyears away from home. Garrus Vakarian Shepard, not that I'm not grateful but... What are you doing here?

The bullet drove through Olivia's head, her body falling down against the cold crystal ice floor as blood poured out of the wound and onto the ice. There she laid as dead as a doornail as the others towered over her where they stood on the ice. But that would soon change however as the blood that fell from the open wound in her head poured back inside, the wound sealing up on its own before the child stood up and looked towards the man who shot her.
“That hurt, you know.”

Always good to see a familiar face. It wasn't the first time Shepard had been in this situation; thrown into foreign surroundings without rhyme or reason and struggling at first to make sense of whatever had happened to him. He hadn't been expecting to find anyone he knew in this place. After all, it was only the extensive intelligence network of the Illusive Man that had even pointed him in the direction of his crew after Cerberus revived him.
At least, he supposed, he hadn't died this time.
He suppressed the widening of his eyes as he watched his mark simply regenerate from that solid headshot and sand back up like nothing had happened. No biotics or tech at work here; it was clear she simply wasn't human. He kept his composure - and kept his rifle raised - as she addressed him. However fast she might be, she'd be hard-pressed to dodge magnetically accelerated, mass-reduced slugs travelling at hypersonic velocities.
"Let's save the explanations," came his reply to Garrus, "for when we don't have a demon kid trying to kill us all, huh, Garrus?"

Kragen lowered his weapon at Garrus' word and watched the two before their enemy regenerated the head-shot wound and got back up to her feet. As he suspected the child was similar to the vampire they fought back in Isafaro but this time would be different. Their bullets, if they could hit, were blessed silver and enough should be enough to do ample damage. The ex-soldier raised up the modified HK45 and quickly fired towards her head in the hopes of hitting her before she could gain back her previous momentum.

Their reunion would once again be cut short due to the call for action being demanded by the presence of their enemy. This time though instead of three separate gangs closing in on them in an enclosed space it was a single child who was far from normal. With the enemy now up on both feet with her weapons held, the rebel turian raised up his own weapon towards the child and prepared for yet another battle with Commander Shepard at his side. Just like old times. Garrus Vakarian Agreed.

Olivia sliced the bullets that headed her way into two halves with her daggers, the halves flying off into the crystal ground and within nanoseconds The Genius was on the side of Kragen opposite of the others, protecting herself from a clear shot by them as she sliced the daggers through Kragen's kneecaps.

Blood began to flow freely from his knee as the ex-soldier fell to the ground thus no longer being the meat shield Olivia wished him to be. He crawled on the ground to get away from the battle, trusting that both Garrus and Shepard would be able to keep the demon child busy while he performed surgery on himself.
