Superwoman had no way of predicting that she would be thrown off course so easily. She crashed into the ice wall but thankfully she didn't crack it to the point where water would begin leaking out. The last thing she wanted to do was cause a flood in this place but it did leave a pretty big crack on the surface of the wall she hit. Coming off of the wall, the Woman of Steel could see something coming to her in the distance and decided to land down on the ground and wait for it to come to her.

Superwoman wouldn't be kept waiting. Jill Valentine landed down in front of her, a piercing gaze from a hue of blue now upon her form as she stalked towards the Woman of Steel's position at first but at the last minute rushed forward, unleashing a combination of punches with enough strength applied to break through the invisible barrier that made up her invulnerability on impact.

Pain. Pain just like before. She hasn't felt it since the battle with Doomsday, her death. It felt like centuries has passed since then. The same pain that Kara was never able to get used to and hurt just as bad as it did then. The Woman of Steel was quick to go on the defensive, holding up her arms to block the punches by Jill Valentine before literally blowing her away with her Super Breath. "What are you doing with the tower?" Kara demanded after pushing Jill away with the Super Breath, and there were more where that came from.

Jill endured the Super Breath, being pushed a few feet away but not by much as her endurance shined through. No answer came from the woman's lips as she charged forward, vanishing from sight for a brief moment and reappearing to Superwoman's right this time with a combination of high and mid-kicks backed by an agility twice that of the ordinary man.

Kara looked around for Jill after she disappeared for a brief moment and turned just in time to see her kick combo coming. She grabbed the ankle of the foot and then flipped her over through the air before coming back with an uppercut aimed for her jaw once her feet touched the ground.

Jill spun around in the air but quickly regained her footing and grabbed the wrist of the hand aimed for her jaw, with her hands still on the wrist she lowered them down to Superwoman's arm, twisted it with all her strength and then pulled on it throwing Superwoman's over her head and onto the ground.

Kara released a pained groan at the twist of her arm and hit her back against the ground hard but while Jill was still bent over after flipping Kara, Kara shot up her right leg to hit Jill in the head knocking her back and allowing Kara to jump back up to her feet. Once on her feet again Kara released a powerful blast from her Heat Ray Vision towards the chest of Jill Valentine.

Jill was indeed knocked back and watched as Superwoman's eyes lit up a bright colored red. Predicting that was coming, Jill jumped up and forward through the air to avoid the Heat Ray Vision and landed down behind Superwoman delivering a roundhouse kick.

The second Jill jumped into the air, the Woman of Steel took flight and rammed right into her opponent while airborne unloading a fury of superhuman fast and superhuman strong punches towards her.

In the same instance both met in the air, Superwoman would find herself wrapped in the clenches of a single tentacle now squeezing her with unprecedented strength before hurling her through the air and into another wall while Jill landed down on the ground with four gray tentacles now attached to her back, going back into her body as quickly as they came out of her after landing back down on the ground.

"What the-!?" Kara was caught off guard by the sudden appearance of four tentacles in the air as one wrapped around her and started to squeeze her tight. The Woman of Steel attempted to break out of its clenches but that wouldn't be necessary as the tentacle threw her and she recollected herself in the air, landing back down on the ground and staring down Jill as the tentacles returned into her back. "What are you!?"

Jill watched as Superwoman regained control of her body quickly and easily while remaining in the air. Not surprising as The Seductress herself told her that Superwoman was among one of Genesis' strongest warriors defending its realm. Jill made no move towards Superwoman and instead stayed at her position, prepared for an attack as she stared down the Woman of Steel, silent as the grave.

Silence. That was all the other woman would give as they stared across from one another on the battlefield. Kara knew that Maricul was doing something bad with the tower, and while she didn't know what she didn't want to wait for it to find out. Superwoman had to end this quickly. Her eyes went red again as she charged up another burst of Heat Ray and unleashed it into the ground by Jill's feet blasting the ground beneath her causing shards of ice to come up and hit Jill in the face.

Jill anticipated where the Heat Ray would hit and acted accordingly, rolling to the side of the blast and remaining hunched over as debris started to clear up from the blast site courtesy of the Woman of Steel.

Kara held back her anger towards Jill not getting into the position she had wanted her to be in prior to her launching the Heat Ray Vision. She was strong, fast, smart and full of surprises. But up ahead she could see the tower plunging the worlds together, she could see the ice melting by the flames of the Firebird, and she could see the hearts of man failing. Whatever happened to her, she couldn't allow them to win. She couldn't afford for them to win. Determination filled her heart and her soul as she went into a running stance and then burst forward at great speeds, appearing as little more than a red and blue blur as she closed in on Jill and aimed a punch for her face. She couldn't lose. She couldn't.
