Aminee drove right up to the front gates of Chloe's castle and opened up the car door, slamming it shut behind her as she headed for the entrance only to be held back by the now human guards wielding late 19th Century rifles similar to Earth's and aiming them towards her. "Hey! Watch where you're aiming those things we're friends with the Empress." The Pop Idol then looked up to the tower of the castle and called out for Chloe. "Chloe! Chloe, get down here we need your help right now!"

The gates were opened and out came "The Black Knight" General Kaso and General Alexander. The guards by the gate bowed and moved out of the way of the others at the command of Alexander before the two looked over to Aminee and Utena. Kaso remained silent while Alexander addressed them. "Our apologies. Empress Chloe is-" "Right here."
Both Alexander and Kaso's eyes flooded with surprise as they looked towards the Empress, the same person who took a horse to the Crystal Expanse several hours ago. How could she have returned so soon when the situation with the tower has not yet been resolved and nobody saw her come in? It wasn't possible. "You've come to request assistance in learning the mysteries of the tower. To learn why the world around you now changes the way it does."

Utena got out of the car after Aminee but quickly backed away from the people who had guns aimed towards them, didn't matter if they were old guns where she came from or not a bullet to the human flesh was still a bullet to the human flesh. When the gates opened and some familiar faces came pouring out, Utena relaxed but then began to eye Chloe suspiciously.
"Yeah... How did you know all that?"

Chloe's eyes fell upon Utena's form, noting the confusion that assumed her face at her answer to the questions that were floating around in their mind.s In truth the Empress had experienced this conversation more times than any being should ever repeat something and had very little interest in waiting for them to ask their questions. She also had no intention on revealing her new omniscience to them, they would be better off for it. Her answer would come in a single word,
"Knowledge." Clear enough not to be a lie and vague enough not to be the truth. Her eyes looking up to watch the energy shooting up from the top of the tower and stretching out through the realms pulling them all to one focal point. Pulling them all to a universe controlled by the Seductress. "The tower has the power to manipulate the universes. It can bind them together just as easily as it can tear them apart. Maricul - the woman behind all of this - has chose the former. If she succeeds all of creation will tremble at her feet."

"Finally." Aminee opened her mouth to speak but Chloe would interject, much to the surprise of Kaso and Alexander, and get right to the point of the intended conversation. Aminee didn't think anything of it, Chloe had been around the supernatural for a lot longer than they have. What were complicated to them were more than likely common knowledge to her. That being said, the words of the vampiress only filled Aminee with more sorrow and dread at the situation they had all found themselves in. "What would be so stupid to leave something that powerful within the reach of corrupted people? How do we stop her?"

Utena felt a chill shoot up and down her spine at Chloe's words. She didn't know who this 'Maricul' was, but she certainly didn't want to find out what kind of person would do something like this. It was beginning to feel like this world was always in peril; first Doomsday, Darkseid and now this. Could they ever catch a break?
"Would we even be able to do anything to help? Or would we just get in the way?"

"Not just anyone can learn the tower's secrets. Most would grow old and die before they managed to uncover the basics. Only one with time on their side can accomplish such a feat." That was where Tajna Rasha and Chloe stood apart from the rest of them. Though she already knew she would not get very far in her efforts to take control of the tower and right the wrongs that were already created.
"Don't sell yourself short." Chloe said to Utena. "You're stronger than you know. But our intervention is not necessary." They would soon see the energy beam rising from the tower reverse back down against the Downward Spiral as Tajna Rasha had succeeded in his plans to crush Maricul's spirit, and save the realms from being merged together beneath her whim. But his alternative for mankind was not any better than that of Mari's. "You were wise to come here first. Heaven only knows what would have happened if you had leaped in blindly."

Something wasn't quite right about the way Chloe was communicating with her and Utena. In all their chats up to this point the vampiress were always pretty up front and easily explained things. Now she was sounding more cryptic than usual, leaving things to question when normally a straight up answer would be given. Only a person with time on their side? What was that supposed to mean? Aminee didn't like this one bit.
"Chloe, you're acting strange. What's wrong?" The Pop Idol's attention would then be dragged back to the tower as she saw the energy beam cast back down. Somehow, someway, Chloe knew that was going to happen before it even occurred. Aminee looked back to the Empress, shock, wanting answers and a gut feeling told Aminee that Chloe already knew that also. "Please be perfectly clear, Chloe. I don't like beating around the bush when it comes to life-threatening matters such as this."

"What?"
Utena turned around in time to witness the tower shutting down and whatever was causing the realms to merge together be reversed. Just like that everything was safe again and they would be able to return to Moon Valley without having to worry about the creatures that attempted to claim their lives. And yet, Utena couldn't help but feel depressed at just how powerless and useless both she and Aminee were in this conflict.
"It's over then. We came all this way for nothing."

"Not for nothing," Chloe said to Utena before turning her attention back to Aminee who wanted her questions answered. "This is no place for this discussion. Come." The Empress turned around and motioned for the two to follow her back into the castle where she would tell them everything.
And change their lives forever.
