Unsurprisingly, Maricul was quick to throw her minions into the line of fire. And perhaps ironically, Sparda was to be pitted against his clone. He remembered this woman from back on Dominion; there, the Sisterhood of Vampires had created her from a sample of Sparda's blood that they'd obtained in battle against him.
"So the gender-bent facsimile's come to the party," he scoffed, eyes upon Eva. He casually extended his right hand sideways, and in a blast of crimson flame, his namesake sword materialised in his grasp."Still out to prove yourself superior to the original, little girl?"

Maricul wouldn't even turn away from Zira as an invisible barrier stopped Superwoman dead in her tracks and then redirected her towards a wall of frozen crystallized ice far away from the Downward Spiral.
“I need someone to deal with the woman in tights.”
“I'll take care of her.”
Already lunged through the air was a new and improved Jill Valentine in a black leather battle suit and blonde hair waving through the air as she quickly moved in on Superwoman's position.

"So the gender-bent facsimile's come to the party. Still out to prove yourself superior to the original, little girl?"
Eva simply smiled.
“I already have.”
The Demon Assassin jumped off the nearby ledge and slid down the long black wall of the Downward Spiral, making her way all the way to the bottom of it before leaping through the air and touching the snow on the ground as she moved this battle to give the two plenty of room that the roof of the tower could not provide.

So wonderfully arrogant. That was what Sparda disliked about her back in Dominion too. He smiled darkly, retorting with just four words as she leapt off the mighty tower.
"We'll see about that."
His eyes flashed a deep violet and a man-sized portal whirled into life beside him. Glancing only momentarily at Zira, concern flashing across his face for the briefest moment, he turned and strode across the threshold, disappearing from the tower. In his wake, his aura could be felt through the portal before it closed, a wave of dark and enormous power rolling over Maricul's companions.
His voice echoed in the Firebird's mind for a moment before he turned his attention to his opponent.
"Don't do anything stupid, Zira." Continued in Mirror

Garrus Vakarian Shit! Garrus lost control of the ground vehicle, it spiraled out of control, screeching loudly across the crystal ice floor and leaving tire tracks in its wake before colliding head first into the crystal wall leaving the duo to have to walk the rest of the way. But first, they had a pest to remove. Continued in Crash

Tears fell freely from Zira's eyes and down her cheeks as the word she's been longing to hear finally parted from Maricul's lips. I love you. But it couldn't have come at a more inappropriate time. Of all the people in all the world why did Zira have to fall in love with the one that wanted to change all of existence to support a biased view of the universe? Why did it have to be the woman with the history of manipulation? Why couldn't you control who you fell in love with?
However the tears that that fell down her cheeks and blurred her vision was not one of overwhelming joy, it was one of overwhelming sorrow. Maricul had asked something of the Firebird that she could not do. Zira could not, no matter how much she loved and cared about Maricul, turn her back on her friends and family. It was an unfair thing to ask and Maricul should have known better than to ask it. While every fiber of her being was yelling at her, telling her to get away Zira couldn't. She stayed exactly where she was, head pressed up against her lover as she closed her eyes to silently weep some more, lips still warm from the feel of Maricul's touch.
"I can't do that," Zira whispered to her lover. "You know I can't do that. If this is your choice then I have to fight you."

Chloe reached the Crystal Expanse on her horse and looked up to see the back of the large tower closing in the closer she got. Once she was close enough the vampiress jumped off the horse and sent it off back to the Empire of Jherrazad as she rested a hand on the hilt of Kasul and looked over the area for any signs of those behind the current activity in the tower. She could pick up two scents battling at the front of the tower and others further away but the majority of scents came from the roof of the Downward Spiral. Becoming one with her surroundings, Chloe managed to slip right past the two fighting near the front of the tower and entered into the bottom floor of the Downward Spiral to begin the journey up to where Maricul and the others were. So much for having two moms. Maya turned away from the sappy love fest, in her eyes and watched as the man in purple left through one of those portals he's always opening and closing everywhere he goes.
"The man sure does love his portals."
Just when Maya was growing more and more bored, something finally happened. A strange women in red and blue tights with a cape came flying towards Maricul only to be rebound into a wall. The Joy was about to offer her services until Jill Valentine took off after her, stealing her thunder. A look of frustration growing on the vampiress otherwise sadistic grinning face as she looked to her mother.
"When is it going to be my turn?"

"I can't do that. You know I can't do that. If this is your choice then I have to fight you."
“Shh. Shh, it's okay. I understand.”
Maricul gave Zira another soft kiss on the lips but this one soon turned into a passionate one with her arms wrapped around The Firebird and holding her tightly, as if to bid her farewell knowing that once this embrace was over the two would be enemies. The Seductress slowly pulled away from the kiss, although not wanting to, and stroked Zira's hair then caressed her cheek one last time.
“Goodbye, Zira.”
Zira would feel a strong invisible force hit her and send her flying through the air as Maricul turned over to the psychic, elemental vampiress known as Kedara.
“Finish her.”
Kedara zipped up into the air and then came crashing down upon Zira like a bolt of lighting beginning yet another battle that would take place in the Crystal Expanse. Soon there may be nothing left when these warriors were through with this place.

"When is it going to be my turn?"
“Patience, my child. Everything is going according to plan.”
Maricul brought her hands up and lightly caressed the cheeks of her youngest child and the only of her offsprings who didn't hate her guts completely.
“You will get your chance soon enough.”

Raal's brain picked up psychic energy. More psychics? Well, wasn't this a treat. It was certainly better than standing in the ice-patched snow comtemplating what action to take next. He had wandered far from the Crystal City to come to a stop in the middle of nowhere. The demon had, afrer he made up his mind, teleported into the Downward Spiral to randomly pick a portal to jump through.
His mind was quickly changed when the vibrations were detected.
The psychic's purple stare moved upward, to focus on what would be the roof of the Downward Spiral. That's where the signals originally came from.... Putting the information together sparked Raal's intrigue, and wariness.
Mental barriers tossed upward, he made a blind teleport, using the former location of where the signals came from as a beacon.

Graecus could finally see after the blinding light on Mt. Tam hit him. He looked around and saw a giant spire, where at the base looked like an army was attacking another. Graecus stood in disbelieve, no, at awe at the battle in front of him. He pulled out his spatha to defend himself against anything that approached him in the mayhem. He started getting closer trying to make out what was going on. His legs were trembling. He had never seen such a battle, sure he had taken on snakes, but that was one-on-one. The full scale battle happened in front of his and all he could do was stand there with his spatha in a defensive stance. Then the thought came to him.
This is obviously a test from the titans, Graecus thought. He charged into battle when something in his gut erged him to stop "What in the Hades is going on! Are you Greek or Roman! Who do you serve! Graecus called out to the fight happening in front of him

((DisturbedMurphy, Raal would be on the roof of the tower.))
Maya brought her own hand up to touch the back of Maricul's, looking back into her eyes now as for a moment the two was like a happy mother and daughter. And then that moment would be lost when Raal appeared on the roof. Maya instantly grabbed him by the throat, pitch black eyes staring him down.
"Look, mother. We have another visitor."
There were no shortage of people coming to this place given everything that was going on and the Joy predicted that the party wouldn't be running out of guests any time soon.
"This one seems to like the leaping without looking approach. Can I kill him?"

"Look, mother. We have another visitor."
Maricul turned her attention to Raal, for once someone who she has not had any previous encounters with had jumped into the fray.
“Why have you come here? Do you wish to defy me as well?”
"This one seems to like the leaping without looking approach. Can I kill him?"
“That depends entirely on him.”
"What in the Hades is going on! Are you Greek or Roman! Who do you serve!"
Maricul turned and looked over the ledge of the tower and down to Graecus below to answer his question.
“Neither. I serve the benefits of all mankind. To right the wrongs that gods have so eagerly created. To bring paradise and unity to all of existence.”

Shit. He walked right into that one.
Raal did not move, treating the situation like handling poisonous snakes. Who were these people? He allowed himself to be held how he was, wanting answers. Raal was able to teleport away at any given time, but he needed questions to be answered.
After the female had answered the man below, he instantly became dubious. He was being threatened to get killed by a chick he had never met, and then there was that proclaimation. Seems like she answered her own questions for him. Still, Raal needed to know....
"Who are you people?"
Thickened confusion boiled up in his question.

Grey Everlost's scythe and jacket randomly appeared out of a sudden rift in the fabric of reality; the slash across the sky like a small tear in paper. His smirk was rather devastatingly arrogant, and his eyes, bluer than skies on canvas, flashed of excitement and danger. His smile faded however when he began falling; hardly the spectacular entrance he was eager for. Landing (rather uncomfortably) on the top floor of some tower, he first heard words, and then battle, and then "Who are you people?" directed somewhere away from him.
Rubbing his jaw a second and shaking his head, he quickly regained proper sight; although he perhaps wished he'd simply crashed on the ground. Two rather unhappy ladies stood before him; hardly something he ever liked to see, given any situation. He noted the demon and lightly gave a small bow to all three, though in his head he cursed his luck at running from one fight straight into another.
"A pleasure to meet such fine nuisa- . . . new faces to admire . . . " Grey said, quickly correcting his rather smart tone to something less . . . threatening. He grinned voraciously and stood up and seemed to lightly think something over before pulling from his pocket a pair of flowers; and a dagger. He did not hide the dagger, and shrugged at any suspicious eyes.
Handing a flower to both the demon and the young looking lady whom was shouting over the edge; giving the girl holding the poor male being by the throat the dagger. He wasn't sure how'd they'd take this sudden subtle attempt at stalling for a better idea, but lightly tapped the hand clutching at the demon with a sort of exasperation.
"It's not like the thing's being a nuisance. I'd just let him go; it's hardly worth effort if you've got him by the neck like that, " Grey's smooth voice came, and his eyes almost seemed create an aura of lucidity where-ever it gazed upon.
"What a nuisance," he thought to himself, his sly grin almost pulling through outward onto his currently emotionless face.

Graecus was shocked to hear that the woman on top of the spire was working against the Gods as well. He looked forward and saw the battle tearing itself apart.
"I must do something, I need to identify allies" Graecus thought to himself. It hit him, not literally but metaphorically of course. "If she is working against the Gods, then I must help her."
"Ma'am, it appears you and I have a similar goal, I give you my assistance in this battle, if you choose to accept it," Graecus yelled up to where the woman stood on the balcony. "I just hope that you and I want the same thing to happen after the battle," Graecus muttered to himself.
