Seeing that there was no known way to get Sincara out of stasis, Kara knew that the next logical step was to get her and Utena out of here but before she could Deadpool were on the scene with both his weapons aimed towards them. Making sure she was positioned directly in front of Sincara, the Woman of Steel acted as a shield for Deadpool's bullets in case he was crazy enough to shoot at them. "Haven't you learned from our last encounter that you can't hurt me? I'm here for my friends."
But it would not be the Woman of Steel that would go after Deadpool in the end. Instead it would be Utena. Kara's eyes widened in shock at this latest development and she cried out, "Utena, no!" And to make matters worse the Krogan Battlemaster had returned to the scene firing off his gun. Taking the bullets, the Woman of Steel proceeded to punch the ground and shake the ground underneath their feet not only causing Wrex to lose balance but Deadpool and Utena to lose balance as well so she could retreat with both Sincara and Utena in hand.

“Are you sure? Because you certainly don't look it.”
There were times where Tori hated being right. Utena was far from fine and it showed when she finally snapped and attacked a deadly assassin of all things and Tori herself was powerless to stop it.
“Utena, don't!”
Tori could barely watch but fortunately Kara was able to keep the enemy at bay and escort them away from the battlefield. As she was doing that, Tori began to create a distraction flying around the air and grabbing the attention of the Isafaro soldiers. Once she had it she let in a deep breath, in a manner of speaking, and released a loud, “BOO!” towards the enemy.
It was pathetic. |

Never!"Deadpool was ready to charge and begin fighting Superwoman for the third time in the day until that pink haired girl jumped in on the conflict with a fencing sword in hand. Never being one to shy away from a challenge, Deadpool exchanged his pistols for his sword and prepared himself for a duel. "En garde!"Deadpool could speak French! But before he could show off his amazing French speaking abilities Superwoman would use her godmode powers to punch the ground and cause an earthquake. "Earthquake!"The Merc with a Mouth fell on his ass and then looked up. "You know, after you spend some time in California they just don't shake like they used to."Seeing that the others were getting away, Deadpool got back up to his feet and chased them. "Wait, come back! We're not through killing you yet!"

Utena growled when she got close enough and then raised her blade over Deadpool but the next thing she knew the ground beneath her feet began to tremble and the former Champion of Ohtori could no longer keep her balance as she fell against the ground. She wouldn't be there for long however as she felt the firm hand of Superwoman grabbing and pulling her away from the man whose blood she wanted to spill with her Rapier.
"No! Let me go! Let me kill him! He's a bad man! I have to kill him!" screamed Utena, wanting to justify submitting to her urges and killing someone in cold blood.

Off in the distance Darkseid watched the scene unfold pleased with himself. Soon all of Genesis would abide by his will. Soon all of Genesis would worship Darkseid as their one true god. Now that free will, and its repercussion sin were dealt with there would be an utopia. Just not the utopia that a certain seductress with big ideas wanted. Darkseid turned away from the battle and made his way out of the area still within the body of Bruno Mannheim. There was still much work to be done.

As the ground began to tremble at Superwoman's power, Wrex managed to maintain his balance through it all but his trek forward was still halted temporarily as the enemy took advantage of that to begin their retreat. When the ground stopped, the Krogan Battlemaster continued on his chase aiming his assault rifle ready to fire at the ones who weren't immune to bullets making contact with their bodies. |

If she could move, Sincara would have shot Deadpool and Garrus both in the face. If she could speak, she would have cursed the fact Darkseid had managed to escape. Given all the time that has passed he'd be long gone by now. But Sincara could do none of that. All she could do was look up at the clear blue sky, watching the birds fly by as Superwoman had to carry both her and Utena out of there while the assassins chased them down. She couldn't even tell them that they were under Darkseid's power. How terrible it was to be utterly helpless and having to rely on another to save your life. It reminded her of the worst experience of her life when she watched helplessly as both her parents were consumed by the supernova. The memory being enough to bring a tear to her eye.

Was Deadpool for real? There was no time to worry about that now though, she had to get her friends out of here before the situation somehow became worse than it already was. Kara would never understand how or why, but things always seemed to get worse when it came to the life of a superhero. Perhaps that was just how the cookie crumbled, for lack of a better phrase. Finding Darkseid, or anyone for that matter during a chase, was never more important than innocent lives. Wrapping both girls around each arm, Superwoman took off into the air and flew away, whistling for Tori to follow.
