Wrex suddenly found himself surrounded by children. Sincara he knew could hold her own but he couldn't be sure about the other. It didn't matter as long as they both stuck to the one rule. Urdnot Wrex
You can come but stay out of my way. Wrex was about to move out until Deadpool came onto the scene asking questions about the cave. He remembered Deadpool from the week previous where both were hired around the same time. But before he could answer the man's question he ran towards the rubble looking for some guy named Richard. If he was still in the cave by the time it went down he was as good as dead too. Seeing Utena raise her weapon at the man the Krogan Battlelord decided to ease her nerves. Urdnot Wrex

Sincara first instinct was to say no but she restrained herself and instead asked a question.
"You familiar with the area?"
She may have been a native to the world of Genesis but the Moon Valley forests were a place she has spent little to no time in. Until the Battle for Aircano, the holy city was the place she stayed at. Living peacefully with her family until the day life changed in Genesis forever.
"If so show us the way Darkseid went."
Sincara paid little attention to Deadpool.

"Tori? What's going on?" Kara was confused. She couldn't remember anything after grabbing Sincara's by the shirt collar. Now all of a sudden she was outside with Tori and Deadpool? What has transpired in the past couple of minutes and why couldn't she remember any of it? "How did we get all the way out here?" Then she noticed Deadpool was getting away. "Hey! Stop-!" Kara moved to go after him, that was until....

Oh thank God!
That would spare Tori and Kara a lot of awkwardness, well, it would spare Kara a lot of awkwardness. Now she just had to explain the blank between now and what she last remembered without including any of the uncomfortable details.
“What's the last thing you remember?”
"Hey! Stop-!"
“Kara, no!”
Tori flew in front of her friend, she technically couldn't stop her because of the whole 'ghost' thing but Kara would be taken aback as to why Tori would try to stop her in the first place and hopefully that would be enough.
“You weren't yourself. That kid did something to you to make you act crazy. I struck a deal with that guy to help turn you back to normal. You have to let him go.”
Well, that was the truth for the most part. Tori just saw no reason to include Kara attempts at molestation.
“Please don't be mad. I had to do what I had to do to get you back to normal.” |

While Deadpool continued to look for Richard, presumed death at the young age of, whatever he was, he heard something coming out of Wrex's mouth that quickly grabbed his attention and pulled him back towards the trio. "I'm sorry, were you saying something about no payment? What's going on?"Because if Deadpool could think of one thing worse than losing a murder buddy it's not being paid. That's just unamerican and Deadpool had no attention of being a socialist. Or whatever the naughty word people were using for those they didn't like these days was. |

She has wandered in this place for the past seven months she better have been familiar with the area. After being reassured by Wrex, Utena put away her weapon and then pointed to her right.
"He went this way."
Beginning to lead the two of them in that direction before looking back at Deadpool.
"Please tell me he isn't coming with us."

Wrex turned to answer Deadpool. Urdnot Wrex
Bruno bailed and left us all for dead in the cave-in. We aren't going to get our payment. Wrex then turned back to Utena. Urdnot Wrex
Why not? I'm already letting a child come along. It'd be nice to have another person who knows how to use a gun. |

Sincared glared at Wrex.
"We're the same age she and I. So if you're going to call her a child you may want to look back on the events that has transpired in the last several minutes."
Sincara's eyes traveled over to Deadpool, eying the man up and down to exam him from head to toe before looking back over to Wrex.
"You know this man?"

Kara couldn't believe her ears, Tori actually made a deal with a murderer, and not just any murderer but a murderer who makes a career out of it and obviously is proud of the fact and cracks jokes about the number of innocent people he killed. If anyone deserved to be locked behind bars for life it was that man. "How could you? That man is a killer, Tori. You just allowed a killer to walk free."

Yeah, she was angry. But Tori was still relieved as that meant she was back to normal. Tori would much rather have an angry Kara yelling at her for something she didn't agree with rather than have a super horny Kara trying to figure out how to have sexual intercourse with a transparent ghost that can't touch you.

Then he looked to the kid in the hat when she asked Wrex if he knew Deadpool, Deadpool had no idea who Wrex was but they didn't need to know that and who didn't know Deadpool? "Yeah Wrex and I go way back."Deadpool walked up to his side and placed a hand around him. "Isn't that right, old buddy, old pal? Remember that time we killed... the Harbor Twins on Das Five? Utena looked away from Wrex and folded her arms, a triumphed smile creeping up onto her face at Sincara's words before she turned back around to face the others. Eyes narrowed over Deadpool who were now trying to play best buds with the alien in order to come along. If she had to she'd tolerate him but there was something about the man she just didn't like. And his attitude wasn't helping.

Wrex didn't respond to Sincara's comment about Utena being called the child, or Utena's as he stepped away from Deadpool's arm and looked at him as he answered Sincara's question. Urdnot Wrex

It didn't take much to see through Deadpool acting, she wondered if she should even bother to explain that Bruno was in fact dead and a new god was controlling his body like a puppet or if Deadpool wouldn't believe that anymore than Wrex did. Still an extra pair of hands were always helpful. Nodding to Wrex, Sincara looked back in Utena's direction.
"If there are no more interruptions... Utena, lead the way."

"I don't think you understand..." Kara slowly descended onto the ground, a hint of sadness still found on her young features as she stared down towards the grass on the ground. Letting a known criminal go without even trying to pursue them first went against every fiber of her being. She could feel it just eating away at her flesh for every moment she spent not going after him. She finally looked away from the ground and back up to Tori. "I can't just let him go."
