This whole exchange between Superwoman and the others was far more humorous than it should have been given the severity of the situation. Like something ripped out of a comic book. Did Deadpool really think Superwoman was going to provide him with a new sword? Tori was able to tell how badly Kara felt earlier for the damage done to Richard and wanted to comfort her but being a transparent ghost made that difficult, not to mention that now wasn't the time. Then Superwoman's ear did that twitchy thing it did when it hears danger somewhere else and she quickly left the area to go after it.
Tori struggled to keep up but all she had to do was follow the sound of her voice and she found them in the lower levels of the cave seeing the child in the brown hat and Utena. A look of concern for Utena, knowing how much June cared for her before going back to Sincara and the dead bodies among her.
“Oh my God. Did you kill all of them?”
Tori asked Sincara. |

"Well I was just-"Gone. Just like that. Lost without a trace and the cute ghost friend was leaving too. And people called him rude? "Oh great, leave while I'm in the middle of a sentence. Very nice."Not long after Superwoman and Tori left did a new person appear. This time a man with darker skin and lighter hair. Deadpool scratched his head and put his broken sword away replacing it with his semi-automatic pistol handgun. You know, just in case. "Who's asking? Because you know I had a hell of a day. Killed that guy over there for causing a fuss, got hit by a gi-"Deadpool quickly reconsider that statement. "Man. This LARGE man who was like fighting a brick wall, came at me. But I was able to out wit him and forced him into a retreat. So what are you supposed to be? Because this cave is just a magnet for the bizarre, let me tell you."

By the time Utena looked up from the ground she saw Superwoman standing overheard. Just when one thought that the round blue orbs for eyes on Utena's face couldn't grow any wider they did. It really was her. There was no trickery. She was right there within touching distance of the girl, alive and well.
"Kara, you're alive!"
Utena let her real name slipped off her tongue without realizing it. She was overjoyed that her friend was alive and wasn't thinking. Her arms wrapped around Kara's legs and she held herself close to her. Tears of joy watering up her eyes by the time she touched her.
"I'm so happy to see you!"
Through a blur, watery vision Utena would see someone else by Kara's side. Someone else who would bring out the same amount of shock in her. Slowly pulling herself up to her feet using Kara as a crutch to do so, she stared towards the ghost in awe.
"Tori?"
The same facial features, same size of eyes, pointed nose, and even fit. Tori and Utena similarities were so many that people would've thought the two were twins. The only difference were their hair style, color of eyes and choice of clothes. It was too dark and currently the Champion of Ohtori was in too much shock to realize that Tori was floating above the ground and transparent.
"I can't believe it. You're both alive! How is this possible?"

Kara and Tori Jacobs would not be the only ones to return from the dead. In a manner of speaking. Behind the group Bruno's body stood back up to its full height towering over the others but gray veins appeared on his skin, the ones on his face and hands the only ones visible due to the suit. His eyes which was once dark and brown were now a bright red, glowing dimly from the core of the eye as only the sclera remained. "Kara Zor-El of Krypton. At last we finally meet."Bruno Mannheim of Intergang was dead but his body was far from being useless. |

Wrex fought his way through the nobodies and eventually fought his way out of the room to find the chaos that existed outside of it. For one reason or another Intergang agent was pitted against Intergang agent, killing each other in cold blood and some even raping. Two Intergang agents confronted him but they found out the hard way just how stupid challenging a krogan to a battle of strength really was as both fell down to their death in a matter of minutes. Seeing the damage already done to this cave Wrex knew one thing for certain. This was going to be a long ass day. |

"Eliminating a terrorist organization responsible for your deaths, you should be thanking me!"
Proclaimed Sincara as she looked between the two.
"Intergang were the ones responsible for a literal hell on Genesis and releasing the beast that led to your death. They were also working on bringing Darkseid, the god of Apokolips onto Genesis who attacked during your funeral and killed your friend over here," she nodded towards Tori, "If not for me this planet would have been lost forever by the time it took the two of you to cheat death. So you're welcome."
Speaking of cheating death Sincara quickly spun around and aimed the Six Shooter at the recently risen Bruno and noticed the abnormality in his eyes and how he addressed Superwoman. Slowly backing away, Sincara kept her sights on the physical form but knew that whoever was behind the wheel was not Bruno himself. Her heart skipped a beat as by the color of the eyes alone led her to believe it was the last thing in this plane of existence she wanted it to be.
"It can't be... Darkseid?"

Kara's eyes softened towards her friend who was emotionally overwhelmed to see her again but then shush her when she almost inadvertently revealed her identity to Sincara. The Woman of Steel helped Utena up to her feet but was unable to provide an answer to her question as she was unsure how it happened herself. That conversation would be put on hold however as Sincara spoke up to explain herself to the others. Even though Superwoman could understand why she did what she did, she couldn't approve. "These people deserved a trial like anyone else. Killing them makes you no better than they were."
The moral issue of killing criminals would also have to be put on hold as the body of a man who for all intent and purposes should be dead rose to his feet, not only that but he addressed her by name but with added additions alien to her. She looked over to Sincara who replied to the man with a name then back to the man staring deeply into his red eyes preparing for a fight should another one erupt here and now. "This is Darkseid?"

"Tori?"
Tori turned to face Utena in awe at their similarities the moment her eyes were upon her. June weren't kidding when she was telling her that if she dressed up like Utena they would be twins. Not that it mattered now. What she saw now was just a shell of her former self. There was no body for her to enjoy. Although with some hair dye and green contacts Utena would look just like her.
No! How could you even think such a thing? she asked herself mentally. Disturbed at the thought she just had while looking at Utena. Tori and Kara needed to find her remains soon so hopefully her body could be restored before she did something she'd regret forever.
"I can't believe it. You're both alive!"
“Not quite.”
Tori hovered over to Superwoman's right, her transparent appearance becoming more noticeable through the darkness as she moved. Utena would also be able to see Tori's feet were mere inches above the ground and she was in fact hovering where she moved.
"How is this possible?"
“It's a long story.”

At that, Tori turned her attention back to Sincara alongside Kara.

“So this is Intergang,” said Tori while looking over the corpses. “We knew they were behind a planned assassination of the mayor and that they wanted the seal as a bargaining chip but we had no idea they'd be insane enough to actually open it.”

“I don't think they would have given them much choice, Superwoman.”
"Kara Zor-El of Krypton. At last we finally meet."
Tori quickly turned to the position of Bruno's body, being frozen in place by the familiar red orbs for eyes that was staring them all down as the others readied themselves for a fight and spoke,
"It can't be... Darkseid?"
"This is Darkseid?"
“It has to be,” said Tori still staring into those glowing red eyes of his. “Those eyes. I'd recognize them anywhere. This is the one who killed me.” |

Panic returned to Utena's body when Bruno Mannheim returned to his feet despite being filled with holes on his back but this time she wouldn't let fear ground her. This time she drew her Rapier and remained by Superwoman's side to help anyway she could if a battle broke out. But so far they were only conversing and Utena listened. She remembered that day like it was yesterday. The large man with red eyes obliterated her in a matter of seconds. It was the event that caused Utena to snap and repeatedly attack him in battle simply because to her eyes it was like Darkseid was killing her too.
"He didn't kill Tori. He destroyed her! Rendered her to nothing but ash before she even had a chance to move."

Strange how fate brought them all together like this. He looked towards his opposition; Utena the woman that unleashed a relentless yet worthless assault against him, Tori the one who dare challenged him only to be smote with ease, Sincara the native who formed the plan to seal him and his planet away and finally Superwoman the hero he thought he'd never get a chance to meet. "I should have known the void would not hold you, Kara Zor-El. But I didn't think you'd bring back company."Darkseid looked over to Tori who was already frozen in fear at his very presence even though he was limited in a imperfect human body. "The death of Tori Jacobs was nothing personal but she did attempt to defy me. I of course had to make an example out of her for the rest of the world to bare witness."He then turned his attention to the Tori lookalike, the one who never gave up. "Utena Tenjou is it? I have a great deal of respect for you. Not many mortals dare go up against a god and live to tell about it. I hope you learned from that experience just how small and insufficient your existence truly is."And last, but certainly not least, the one who sealed him away and the one who led the charge against Intergang. "Sincara. One of few to rightfully inherit this planet. Did you really think that sealing me away behind the rift would keep me from Genesis forever? I am a god. What holds impossible for man offers no limitation for me." |

Wrex continued to mow through his enemies in his search for answers but retrieved none. Realizing that there was now a serious threat to Bruno Mannheim's life the krogan hurried down to the bottom of the caves to find him, what he would find however was a confrontation between Bruno Mannheim, Superwoman, Sincara, Tori and Utena among dead Intergang soldiers. Positioned behind those who opposed the Intergang leader, Wrex held up his weapon to them and looked over to Bruno. Urdnot Wrex
Mannheim, you all right? This whole place has gone insane. People above are killing and raping each other for no reason. |

Sincara kept her eyes on Darkseid, watching for any sudden movement as he spoke. She could sense no sin within him further proving that the man was dead and it was indeed a god controlling him from the other side. She could only scoff however when Darkseid addressed her and boasted about his godhood.
"Maybe while you're away you'll grow yourself a new brain. You gods gloat about being superior to the rest of us yet for some reason you merged with that rift and it never occurred to you that maybe, just maybe, it would come back to bite you in the ass!"
Sincara would finally turn from Darkseid and looked over to the alien that joined them. She raised her weapon and pointed it at him in response as he spoke of the carnage caused by her.
"Yes. That is what one can expect when man falls to their deepest, darkest desires... They're beyond help now if you're thinking of saving them."

"Your killing my friend led to my return. That was a mistake." Superwoman's expression hardened and she glared at the only thing about Bruno that she knew were actually apart of Darkseid. His eyes. No human could ever have eyes like that. Superwoman heard someone else approaching them and turned to see Wrex now behind them with a weapon raised. "Put down the gun the last thing we want is another firefight." At Sincara's words, Kara looked over to her shock filling up her face as concerned for the people up above took her. "Sincara, you didn't. Whatever you did you have to reverse it!"

"You say that but I'm not the one communicating through the dead!"
Utena retorted, standing her ground when every fiber of her being told her to run. Even if she wanted to soon that wouldn't be an option anymore as Wrex blocked the path out of here with a weapon in hand. Utena turned to him and then back to Darkseid with the Rapier still held up high and ready for fighting even though she knew realistically it wouldn't help her against a gun but it was the only thing she had.

Defiance. Darkseid has never seen so much of it in such a small span of time. And it seems that only Tori and Utena were smart enough to fear the being that stood in front of him. Superwoman he could not blame. She had reason not to fear him when so little could actually hurt her but Sincara? Sincara was just a foolish child. Darkseid looked towards Wrex as he came onto the scene and realized that Wrex still thought he was Bruno. The krogan battlelord was not yet a believer but soon he would be. "The mission here is a failure, Wrex. You are to escort me to safety."He then looked to the others. "It has been a pleasure speaking to you all." |
