The laser beams' mark were true and struck the warlock square in the chest, knocking him back a few feet. The smell of singed flesh and burnt cloth wafted from Richard; and when the smoke cleared, he was on the floor, limbs splayed, with a gaping hole in his chest. Smoke curled from his clothes and skin, his eyes were closed, and it would be easy to assume he was dead.
That is until he abruptly sat up and looked at the new opening.
"I've been meaning to go on a diet." Richard moved his hand through the empty space, wiggled his fingers, and giggled. For now he was too occupied by this to fight Superwoman. |

It looked like the woman was fireproof and could shoot lasers from her eyes. That was so cool. Deadpool wished he could shoot lasers from his eyes. The Merc with a Mouth looked over to see the large gaping hole in Richard's chest as the eyes on his mask widened in surprise. "Murder buddy, don't look now but you have something on your... yeah..."Deadpool turned his attention back to the rude girl in tights and charged forward, cutting the gap in-between them quickly before bringing his sword down upon her shoulder. Let see how she likes having a hole in HER body. He didn't want to go after the chest though because, well, boobies. |

Utena froze in place eyes directly on the edge of the barrel now pointed at her. They were lying in wait this whole time, bad. Bad! Bad! Bad! Despite being held at gunpoint Sincara's resolve remained the same. Unyielding. So the being that attacked them during her friend's funeral was named Darkseid. But how did Sincara know that? Better yet, how can this man talk like Darkseid could return after being destroyed? Faith truly was blind.

"You think our Lord can be destroyed so easily? You think he's dead? You're wrong. You may be a clever opportunist, using a dimensional rift in the area to your advantage but you're lucky it didn't lead to your death. Trapping Lord Darkseid into another dimension is only prolonging the inevitable. I wish you could be around long enough to see for yourself."Bruno then looked over to Utena who was begging him to stop this madness. "My people took an oath. We are all prepared to die for Lord Darkseid. He gave us a calling. A new purpose in life. I've never felt more alive than I am right now after becoming his disciple. But enough of this useless chatter. The trail end here girls."At Bruno's call he and the other Intergang agents pulled back on their triggers and unleashed a barrage of bullets at Sincara and Utena.

The blades came into contact with Wrex's shields, inflicting moderate damage to them as the force behind impact knocked Wrex back a few feet but he quickly regained his footing and took advantage of the point blank shot he had of Xemnas now firing a second shot from his shotgun at his head. |

Xemnas was quick to act and his movements were fluid as the Organization XIII Leader Xemnas formed a small force field in front of him blocking the shots before deactivating and charging again with his blades aimed for his throat.

As Bruno spoke, Sincara's eyes were focused on the sins found inside the hearts of his men. Their anger growing, steadily rising to the surface, wrath ready to consume their bodies and souls by the time Bruno aimed his weapon at Sincara and Utena. Little did he know though that directly behind him, his boys had their weapons locked on him and opened fire to shoot the leader of Intergang dead, allowing Sincara enough time to raise her Six Shooter and fire at the victims of her sin manipulation before they could become a problem for her and Utena as well.

Kara looked at the hole in Richard's chest, eyes wide. She was nowhere near trying to inflict that much damage on the man and yet if it weren't for his obvious inhuman abilities he would be dead now, and it would be because of her. That was enough to send Superwoman into shock. How could she be so careless with her powers? How could she allow her emotions to overwrite her better judgment and make her forget just how much strength she had inside the palm of her hand? She didn't even feel Deadpool's sword hit and the blade shatter when it made contact with her body. Looking over to him she made sure that she wouldn't make any more mistakes in this battle. Pulling back her right arm she shot another fist his way this time with only enough strength to knock the average man unconscious if it landed.

Deadpool watched his blade shatter into a million pieces disheartening. What a waste of such a beautiful blade. Then came the punch more than strong enough to take out the average man. But Deadpool was no average man! He ducked under it and then popped back up from the ground holding the broken sword up to her face. "You owe me a new sword!" Guess he didn't have to worry about her boobs being damaged after all if she had invulnerability on her side. He took a leap back and waited to see what she'd do. "So what are you? Mutant? Alien?" |

Utena took a leap from the gunfire and hit the ground with her hands over her head. There was nothing more she could do in this situation but protect herself. Rapiers and knives were only good for so much and they didn't account for much when your enemy were armed with weapons your eyes couldn't even recognize. Utena closed her eyes praying that Sincara would come out the victor.

Bullets filled his back to great surprise as his cries of pain echoed throughout the cave drowned out only by the sound of gunfire as his own men gunned him down. He fell down to his knees and then face first against the cold and rotten cave floors where his men would soon follow by the accuracy of the child's shooting. Their weapons falling down near them. And there Bruno laid, for all his faith, dead. |

With a boost of his shields the blades were repelled and while Xemnas was still in close Wrex slammed his massive krogan forehead into Xemnas' with enough force behind it to knock him off his feet, and give him a splitting headache to boot showing that close up with a krogan was never a good idea. |

Sincara walked over to the bodies and began kicking them one by one to make sure they were really dead. A body she had yet to get to started to move, but that wouldn't last for much longer as Sincara unloaded another .357 bullet into his body putting an abrupt end to his god-fearing life before turning back over to Utena.
"Come on, get up! They moved to this cave for a reason and I want to find out what they were up to."

"What difference does it make?" As Superwoman went into a fighting stance she heard the cries of a man coming from deeper into the cave and was now presented with a choice. Go after the source of the screams and gunfire or stay here and try to bring Deadpool to justice. As much as it pained her to do it the immediate source of pain and agony was where she were needed most and without a second hesitation the Woman of Steel ran off in a burst of superhuman speed to Utena and Sincara's position one level below where Deadpool and Richard were. "Utena!" Superwoman knelt down by her side to see if she was all right before looking over to the dead bodies and then rising up to stare down Sincara. "Who are you? What have you done?"

Nobodies didn't feel emotions, but they did feel pain. It did hurt, no doubt about it, but someone in Xemnas's position must use the pain to fuel them. He caught himself with his right hand and flipped him over upright, sliding to a stop.
He smiled and rubbed his head to ease the pain, until he heard the sound of more fighting somewhere else in the cave. Interesting.... more people? He could tell this one will not tell him where the leader was.... so he would have to find out if these others did. First he put away hisblades away, then dismissed his Sorcerers, who dissapeared mid-battle to somewhere else in the cave to continue the search. Xemnas had already preparing to use a corridor of darkness to get there when he pulled his hood over and said to him, "I have no more reason to fight you any longer, you will not give the knowledge I seek.."
With that said he was enveloped in darkness and then gone as five Dusk Nobodies appeared to keep the soldiers busy. He himself appeared before Richard and Deadpool. He then addressed them both. "Where is the leader of this encampment?"
