As a gesture Tori flew to the side and away from Kara's path indicating that she would not stand in her way if going after him was what she felt was right.
“Go on, make a liar out of me and show the world my word is worthless.”
It wouldn't come without its prices however. |

Deadpool certainly wasn't helping with Utena's sanity but it looked like she was out voted on that front. Seeing that the others were now ready to go Utena began leading them down the direction Darkseid went, meanwhile her eyes started to wander to the sky above, hoping that Kara and Tori were all right.

"That's not fair." Both sorrow and frustration was ever apparent on Kara's face as she looked towards her ghost friend. "That's not fair and you know it." How could she put her in such a position? Sure, keeping your word was important and it was one of the many things that separated them from the criminals but was it really worth possibly getting someone killed by letting that man go? "Please, Tori. Don't do this."

It was tough to look at the sadness and frustration in her eyes but Tori wasn't going back down from this. It was Kara herself who said you should always stick to your word no matter what after giving a promise and that was exactly what Tori intended to do. Even in death one still had convictions.
“I understand how you feel on this, Kara. But my mind is made up. If you go after him you go knowing that you make me a liar and prove my word is meaningless. The choice is yours. As I said before, I couldn't stop you ghost or not.” |

"I...I-!" Kara placed a hand over her face, concealing the tears that wanted to fall from mere frustration from Tori before wiping them away and lowering the hand to look at her again. "I at the very least have to make sure everyone else is okay." Kara took off into the air, traveling at a speed where Tori could easily keep up as she neared the cave but her eyes would soon look down in horror at the sight of the whole place lying in ruin. Kara flew down to the rubble and started digging through rocks looking for any signs of her friend and the child, hoping by some miracle if they were under here they were alive. "Utena! Sincara!" She continued to dig, finding nothing but dead bodies underneath the rocks. "Utena! Sincara! Oh, God. No."

Tori followed Kara back to cave in the air, for the first time since finding out about her secret she could actually fly by her side. Though she'd much prefer not being a ghost but if she was going to be stuck this way until they could find a way to restore her body she may as well make the most of it. Tori's eyes also grew concerned as the two of them found the current state of the cave. While Kara was digging around in the rubble, Tori was looking around the entrance of the cave and spotted four pair of footprints heading into the forest. Three human and one strange and foreign to her. Two of the three human set of footprints looked to be the right size to belong to a woman so there were hope that Utena and Sincara were still alive.
“Kara, over here. Footprints.”
Tori pointed her finger towards where they led.
“There's a chance Utena and Sincara went that way.” |

Superwoman spun around when Tori talked of footprints and survival chances. Flying over by her friend's side, Superwoman looked down to the footprints and then used her advanced sight to see ahead but it looked like they were out of reach of even her advanced sight. "Come on. We have to make sure they're all right." Once again the Woman of Steel took off into the air and followed the footprints in order to find her friends.
