Integra was impressed with the display even if they had gotten defeated so effortlessly. She didn't believe them to be remotely a match for the extremely over powered being that Alucard was now, given that they ended up following the orders of one they showed that they could be molded into a freak hit squad to be used alongside the Wild Geese and even the Iscariot forces.
"Very good Alucard. Stand up, kneeling doesn't suit a being like yourself," she had her hand on the side of his face as she gave this order, and once he would follow it she would return her hand to her side. "Maricul. Front and center," she ordered.

"Maricul. Front and center."
“Yes master.”
Maricul walked up to Integra with her hands at her side. Tossing the sniper rifle back to Sharpshooter who remained laid out on the floor severely injured with the rest of the freaks who had taken part in the battle. Mari was the only one still standing at the end of the fight. Naturally she expected that to end soon as she expected Integra to order Alucard to break a kneecap or backhand her again herself. Maricul ignored the curses hurled her way from Stryker as waited for Integra to speak again.

"You are now in charge of this unit. You will train them as you see fit and will be used in battle until you prove yourself as a reliable asset," Integra said crossing her arms, "You have roughly two days before your first assignment. The Queen has ordered an investigation of the Hallowton docks, there has been several murders done by a red headed woman who comes from the sea. In order to control your unit, I will be sending Seras along with you to act as your spotter and your executioner dare any of you try to escape."
She tilted her head to the side slightly, "Do a good job and you will be given more freedom and be sent on long range missions across the continent. Fail me ... Well, think about what Alucard just did to your unit and imagine Sebastian aiding. Do I make myself clear?"

"You are now in charge of this unit. You will train them as you see fit and will be used in battle until you prove yourself as a reliable asset."
Maricul was surprised, it didn't show on her face but she was surprised all the same. Here she was expecting to be punished for getting involved with Stryker's own punishment and instead she was just given her own unit to command. She had only been brought into this organization a couple of days ago. The display against Alucard must have impressed more than she could have anticipated despite the end result seeing the other four on the ground defeated.

Redheaded woman who comes from the sea. And the leader of the Netherrealm was a redhead. What was it with redheads always running around and killing people?

“Crystal.”

To be honest, he had started to lose interest in the battle again a while ago. It was only with some difficulty that he managed to keep his eyes from wandering away from the battle. He needed to learn everything he could about Alucard; especially if they were to start working together under Integra's command. It seemed as if bullets had no affect on him; but there was nothing too impressive about that. He himself was unaffected by bullets. While the things could kill him if enough hit; he wouldn't stay dead for long at all. It was yet another demon trait. Man-made weapons didn't work so well on his kind.
The fight itself was rather short-lived. One moment Alucard was there; then he was vanishing and re-appearing somewhere else. First Jeeves went down; clutching at his knee. Blood... Sebastian let out an audible sigh. "Really..." He murmured under his breath. What a mess this was turning out to be. The next moment, it was Camp who was thrown; and the butler stiffened as the cracks appeared in the wall. Now that just wouldn't do... If that wall fell in; there would be a danger of the mansion walls above of falling in as well due to lack of support. He was opening his mouth to give voice to a warning, when he was distracted by Camp being hurled into Stryker. The sound of collision was... Noticeable, to say the least. And then, Sharpshooter's expert gun handling was turned upon Maricul at Alucard's hands.
But Maricul wasn't about to go down so easily. His eyebrows were raised as the pages from her book created some sort of barrier; and then shadowy snakes were set upon the powerful vampire who was her target. Alucard entered her barrier for a moment, but the Stryker was charging in for a final strike. What a fool... She hadn't learned her lesson yet... Well, Alucard changed that quickly by shooting off her leg. There was a trace of anger within his crimson eyes now. More blood, more mess... If too much more was shed; then he'd very well have to clean the place, if only to stop the blood stench from leaking into the mansion itself. Actually... At that thought... He knew it was already too late. Yet another task to add to his extensive list. Clean up after these inconsiderate freaks so that the mansion above them wasn't affected. He'd have a look at that wall while he was at it.
The thrown leg was destroyed in midair, and then Alucard was kneeling before Integra. The entire conflict, Sebastian had been standing idly by her side; half expecting some other foolish freaks to come forward and try taking Integra down while Alucard was occupied. But none did... At least most of them weren't as stupid as Stryker. They knew who they were dealing with here. At that moment, Integra gave her order for Alucard to rise, and he bowed his own head in a respectful gesture toward the vampire. Yes, something about Alucard acting like that just... Didn't seem to suit him. As a butler, it was Sebastian's place at Integra's feet. But Alucard was worth more than that; much more. Even the demon could see and understand that. He raised his head as Maricul was called forward, curious about what Integra was about to do.
The words spoken didn't come as a surprise to him. He had been expecting the promotion, to be honest. Maricul had the potential. He was looking forward to seeing her in action while on an official mission, and in command of her own Freak troops at that. She had a sense of leadership about her which had been all too clear when she entered the fray here. He was unable to hide the slight sneer which passed over his features as Integra mentioned he'd be aiding Alucard in the case of failure. Dishing out punishment for failure really didn't fall on his plate of tasks. But he supposed that, if Integra ordered it, anything could become his duty within seconds.

"Good. Alucard, behave yourself." Was all she said as she turned and moved back toward the door and up the stairs. It was a fine day today given that Alucard had returned and that she now had a fill in for the missing Joann in the coming defense of Hallowton had something happened.
