F*ck These Infernal Wormholes.

Kira was used to taking a stance on things. As for her ship it seemed likely she wasn't aware of how to fix it given she had been willingly to be free of it earlier. That meant if he did decide to help and it turned out something more he could stop working on it as a whole. He slowly shook his head, but he did have to look at the metal heap behind them trying to figure out how exactly to get it into the city without causing a fuss, but more then that how it was going to get past all the people to get there. After all it was on the edge of the city almost. ”It's fine.” he told her. Then she asked the question that might be more complicated then what she was using her ship for.

While it wasn't exactly hard to follow it might take a while to explain. ”Hallowton is probably soon to be at war with Ranko's forces, but overall there are several other wars going on. The resistance against Isafaro. Isafaro against most everyone. Kari and Jherrazad. The inhabitants of the Downward Spiral have their own game. Take your pick.” he said shrugging a bit. Each side had different reasons for fighting and different motives, but peacefully wasn't exactly the word he would use to describe anywhere right about now.

She shrugged lightly and chuckled, "I couldn't have picked a worse time to drop in could I? Well, I don't plan on being here long so I am afraid I am going to have to keep my nose clean. The last thing I need right now is to get sucked into war of any kind." She looked to the setting sun, soaking in the rays hungrily. Her face relaxing for a moment and a even cracking a small smile. Despite the uneasiness, she had learned to take moments to enjoy the little pleasures in life and this was certainly one.

"Well now, shall we get moving?" She tugged at the thick leather strap across her chest to re-position it higher, preventing the sheath tip from hitting the back of her legs as she walked as it had a habit of doing at times. She loved the sword dearly but it could be a pain at times.

Something told her that she did not want to be out here when night fell. And as far as she was concerned, that was fine. She waited for Kira to lead the way to the city before she lifted the heap.

Kira simply shrugged. ”Theres always a worse way to enter into something.” he said simply. She planned on leaving soon? That might prove more difficult then she thought. A lot of people found it easy to get here, but much harder to leave, unless again she knew something he didn't? ”Thats easier said then done.” he admitted to her. There were a few options for it. The tower might be the best place, but even after a few visits he still felt as if he knew nothing about it. Even if he was to spend the rest of his life there he wasn't sure how much he'd get from it.

”Right.” he said heading back in the direction. He was sure she'd be able to to carry it, but he was still curious as to how she planned on getting it into the city. ”So earlier you said were looking for a way to get your kids back. Do you remember doing anything different then normal?” he asked her. Maybe if he could figure out what brought people here or perhaps even a small lead it might make getting back to his own realm that much easier. He missed Lacus, Cagalli, and Athrun. Probably Cagalli the most. He wondered how she was doing. She had a habit of being a bit reckless.

Kissira gathered the Force around the ship and it's pieces, willing it to lift the load. This was done in short order and with very little trouble. It was not the first time she had done this. She shook her head in answer to his question. "No, I took the normal flight procedures that i usually did. Nothing out of the ordinary. I hit hyperspace once I was the right distance from the planet and had checked my route doubly. Funny enough, however-"

She paused and completed one more task in secret. No need to alert her companion just yet but her aura would help guide the force into the minds of the people, a voice whispering in their ears telling them that the ship that they see floating before them is not really there. That they do not see anything at all, not even the spare bits of metal hull would be seen. They would feel nothing, no pain, no fear, no panic. They would simply go about their business as usual and completely ignore the pair. This feeling she stretched out to cover Kissira’s path both behind and in front of them, wiping the minds of those who did see and turning the heads of those that stared. And so onward she walked, no hint in her form giving away what she was doing, not even a knit brow or tensed finger.

The task done, she continued, "The wormhole opened up the moment I entered hyperspace. I have been through a wormhole once before and this one was nothing like the other I experienced. And the one that caught my twins was of the same kind that caught me the first time."

She paused for a moment, one of his previous comments coming to her mind. "You know of Force-users. But how far does you knowledge go I wonder?" The answer would serve multiple purposes for her. Not only would she find out what he knew of them, but also possibly what they were like in this dimension. The more she learned the better prepared she would be.

Normal things like most people. Still it had been worth asking. It wasn't as if he had lost anything by asking. The moment she entered hyperspace? So that was like wormhole within a wormhole? He thought that was how the whole travel thing worked, but that didn't even seem possible in theory, but then again he had done things before that were also impossible in theory so he guessed it wasn't too much of a deal. ”Caught you the first time?” he asked a bit curious. Perhaps he would be able to take it back to his realm when he got back? This idea of travel would do wonders. Help more settlements be built.

He shifted slightly at her question towards him. About that..... ”I suppose I know quite a bit. It was something we talked about back on......” he trailed off for a split second thinking back to Heliopolis, more specfically the day it had been attacked. The day that had changed everything. ”Heliopolis.” he said, but that didn't quite answer the question. ”The information is avaliable to everyone. Since it's.....In my realm it's nothing more then a universe several writers have worked on.” he said his eyes shifting back to her as he continued watching to watch her reacton. Hopefully she wouldn't take badly to it.

This caused Kissira to pause momentarily. Did he mean that... "Wait.. excuse me? You mean... Are you saying that the factions are not but stories where you are from? Nothing but the product of some overactive imaginations of some stargazing writers?" What a novel concept. She laughed good naturedly at the idea. "I suppose that the worlds are more interesting and smaller than we think." Another small laugh shook her shoulders, "And were you a fan of these books?"

Kira relaxed a bit more as she started to laugh. At least she hadn't taken it as badly as the last person he had told. ”Afraid so.” he said, but his thoughts were on another matter. He silently wondered how many of the realms overlapped in such a fashion. Quite a few to be sure, but what if they all did in some way? Intentional or not? It was difficult to say. ”It seems that way.” he said responding to the fact that she seemed to think it really didn't seem all that big when you looked at it. Excpet her realm had managed to travel entire planets. His had started exploring their own galaxy. Quite a difference.

”Yea. Back when I was still as student and I wasn't loaded with homework or working with the latest technology they were working on it was a great way to pass some time.” he said. Of course he had always made a point to put it down in favor of spending time with his friends. He knew enough to probably hold a conversation, at least he hoped he did, but he did know enough to know the factions well enough. He sighed watching the sun set as off in the distance as as the city finally appeared in view. ”Hope you have a way to get it in.” he said. He kept walking. Hopefull it wouldn't cause too much trouble getting in here.

Maybe this would be the perfect time to ask a few questions of her own and find out what his world thought of them. It would be interesting to compare the differences of the worlds she knew of. More information to take back home with her and a chance to converse on something that was familiar to her. Well, this was going nicely. She had to double-check at herself, since when did she laugh with total strangers? She shook her head a bit at her actions but returned her attention to Kira when he started to speak again. "Just act like nothing is wrong. Trust me." Her dark lips spread into a kindly smile, the ship still levitating behind them.

"And to help you with that, perhaps you could tell me what your world thinks the Jedi are." She kept her smile as she spoke. This was going to be interesting indeed.

Kira blinked. Needless to say he was alittle suspious at her words wondering what exactly she had done, but he didn't push the question for now at least. Later perhaps, but even as they approached the city the people at the gate seemed to not even take notice of the ship. An odd thing since it wasn't something you saw every day. Still if she didn't want it brought up and given their lack of interest it was a natural assumption to make it was because of something she was doing.

He had made the assumption that they were the same. ”Other then what I explained it's simple really. Their protectors of all thats supposed to be good, in the short end of it, but it's more then that. Their primary function is to ensure peace across the known galaxy or even beyond and do what they can to help others. I only assume it's the same in you're realm. If not tell me if I'm wrong.” he said a bit surprised as no one seemed to notice the floating ship. Truth be told it was slightly worring.

"That is what they are supposed to be, but not all are like that unfortunately. You have your good Jedi, unorthodox Jedi, then you have your fallen Jedi. But then again the same is true for the Sith- but a Sith that is of the light is nothing but a dark Jedi." There was a bit of disgust in her voice as she spoke but it quickly changed to a mask of calm thought. "So far the stories seem true. But what of the Force itself?"

She knew the questions were hard to answer for most people, but this was how she was testing his intelligence. He apparently had a fairly basic knowledge and she loved to test what people knew. It was the basis for understanding. "What is the Force?"

Kira frowned as she continued talking. It seemed like she herself might have some personal experience with what she was talking about. But it seemed she was bitter about it. Another time then. He decided to himself not wanting to push his luck. This one ws harder. He took a moment to gather his thoughts it had been a while since had actually thought on what it was. ”From what I know it's a force that resides within all living things, but it's more then at. At times it seemed....living.” he said trailing off.

He was almost tempted to ask why no one was staring, but just a little further. ”It's something that is even said to exist in the planets themselves.” though he didn't know if that extended to her realm or not. Either way they were making pretty good time. Beyond that he didn't know what she wanted. It was something Jedi and Sith and a few others could bend it to their will. That was reallly all that came to mind though. He knew enough about it to hold a conversation, but he was sure her own knowledge on the topic would far outclass his.

The woman smiled, he was right. It was comforting to know that at least he was not ignorant of her abilities, that meant that there she could preform a great deal of talents without potentially scaring him. He seemed to be strong enough to not fly off the handle if she had to use the Force in the more simple ways, but she still had her reservations. It was a practice of hers to not use the force unless she was certain that the ones around her would not react negatively. Hence why she felt she could lift the ship now.

She noticed that he seemed rather off put by the fact that no one was paying them any heed- her smile was not only for his answer. "The Force is a mysterious thing, isn't it?" She thought back for a moment to her earlier days and learning how to manipulate it and remembering seeing it being used for the first time. Not too pleasant memories, but either way unforgettable.

As they passed through the town, Kissira was slightly taken back by it. The buildings, the people, the atmosphere as a whole was unique to her. Only once had she seen a place like this but that had been far back into her past so the picture was fuzzy. However, despite the air of unease and restlessness that stemmed from what seemed every direction, the town was pleasant to be in. The architecture, the layout as she saw it, the feel- it was nice. But it would take time to discern whether or not she would be staying here.

"I suppose your books are not that far off after all." She said, returning her mind to the topic at hand.

Kira merely raised an eyebrow at her response to his explaination. It seemed. Off base to say the least. Was it about his explanation or something else? She seemed to be pretty observant to say the least so maybe she had picked it up from his own gaurded glances. In that case it would be about the ship. He stopped in front of a garage. He walked to the door and opened it after a few seconds of lock picking. He went and opened the entire door for her, not that he thought she needed the help.

”Anyway. Here we are.” he said giving her a moment to settle in before asking what he had wanted to this entire time. ”So why is it no one stopped us on the way in?” he asked her. She had told him to act natural on the way in and ever since then people had just been letting them go. It had to be something she was doing. Probably something with the froce? Hopefully nothing damaging to them. He was keeping an eye on the area. It might be Hallowton, but there were still a few theifs about even here.

As Kira oped the door she let the ship glide in first, making sure to put it down carefully so as to not damage it any more than it already had been. Once that was done, she nodded in thanks to him and entered herself. "You have my thanks for this." She gave him a respectful half-bow. She made a mental note to keep tabs on this boy, she owed him for this.

She could tell the question had been nagging at him and was tempted to give him another curved answer to simply be mischievous, but she was not that much of a child. "It was rather simple actually. It is an easy matter to make someone think that they have not seen something that is really there. I told you, the force is a mysterious thing. But a powerful one to be certain. Though I suppose you will find that out for yourself soon enough, I imagine."

She spoke over her shoulder as she paced to the vessel to inspect what would have to be done to it as far as repairs went- everything.

Kira just shook his head at her thanks. ”It's not a problem really. It's not like this place sees much use anyway­” he told her fairly. And besides that she still needed to find someone to repair it. Even then it'd still take some time just from looking at it. ”Theres one other thing. This isn't the best part of town, so I don't know how long until someone tries to break in here.” he said honestly. He turned back after that and started to relock the door. Although obviously it wasn't full proof.

After he closed the garage however her next statement caught him. He'd find out soon enough? He turned back around his mind already trying to figure out what that might mean, he didn't wan tto jump to conclusions, but he couldn't think of a lot of good things to come from it either. Still it might be better to ask then jump to conclusions. ”And what exactly do you mean by that?” he asked. Already mental preparing in case she tried something.
