Chloe entire body went into shock once she realized where she was. Her hands shot up to the lid of the casket trying to push it open. She did everything from banging against it to tearing at its inside. Chloe didn't even realize the great amount of strength she was applying into her efforts. The only thing she cared about right now was getting out of this thing. She was successful in breaking a hole in the lid and finally forced the door open. A loud growl that couldn't possibly come from an ordinary woman came flying out of her mouth as she broke through the ground keeping her in that hole and climbed up against the surface of the earth.
Chloe felt the cold air hit her face, her clothes and body covered in dirt while she pulled the rest of her body out of that God forsaken hole in the ground. Just when she could finally relax and catch the breath Chloe still thought she had the loud noises of the town started to drill themselves into her very skull. Chloe could hear everything around her in the cemetery. The honking of cars as they drove by on the road, the chattering among people in the busy streets, the sound of gunfire from soldiers ordered to shoot down citizens who violated the laws of their dictator and even more than that. She could hear the worms pushing their way through the dirt in the ground, the birds flying in the air above and the beating of human hearts burning into her ears.
It was all too much for the 22 year old to take. Chloe felt like her head was going to burst as she pressed her hands against her skull while screaming out into the night. "Shut up!" Chloe started to bang her head against the ground trying to drown out the sounds of the city. "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!"

Buffy had no idea where she was. She couldn't even tell if she was on the same planet, but she could still breathe so that was a plus, "I guess there's still oxygen in the air" she said to herself as she looked around hoping for something familiar. And soon enough she found it, there was a graveyard. A place that she had spent so many countless hours in, fighting off vampires, and demons and even having some pretty meaningful conversations. Sometimes it felt like her entire life took place in a graveyard and so she wandered into it hoping perhaps there would be a vampire in this one just so she could pound off some steam.
She kept on walking, noticing that the tombstones and mausoleums here were quite different than the ones she was used to. But in the end it was still just a place for the dead to rest. That is.. if they were truly dead. And soon enough she found someone who was quite alive and kicking.
A girl was crouched over holding her head, banging it into the ground as she screamed in agony. She was covered in dirt as well and her hands seemed slightly raw from digging through the mess of an unkempt grave next to her. This could only mean one thing. Buffy reached into her coat pocket and took out one of her trusty 'Mr. Pointy's' and grabbed the girl by her shoulder. "If you just sit tight and hold still I can make everything shut up for you" and with that, she swung her arm forward to plunge the stake into the girl's chest.

The noises of the city dived down as one beating heart in particular began to sound out over the others. Unbeknownst to Chloe her focus was moving away from her hearing and onto her new sense of smell. Chloe had never before smelled blood, or even seen it for that matter, but she could have never guessed that it would smell so good. It was an intoxicating feeling causing her bright round blue eyes to turn a dark shade of red while they fell upon the woman moving in on her position.
The vampiress could hear the smooth relaxing beats of the girl's heart, the blood pumping through her veins and the lungs breathing in air to the bloodstream. Chloe wanted to lunge at the girl and pin her to the ground, she wanted to crush bones and break some ribs before finally ripping out her throat and having a grand feast as the blood came pouring out into her mouth. The 22 year old didn't understand the thoughts that were flowing through her mind or why they were so appealing to her but Chloe brand new instincts were telling her to dine on the blond's blood and quickly but it was too late. The woman grabbed her shoulder and was about to plunge some sharp wooden object into her heart.
Instinct came into play once again as Chloe hit the woman in the stomach before she could complete the plunging of that stake and then pushed forward, lifting the girl up onto her shoulders and then tossing her through the open grave she had climbed up from only a few moments ago. It wasn't what she wanted to do before but the first thing that came to mind when she felt her life being threatened. Instinct. It was telling her so many different things. But this one was far more easier to understand than the other. But what complexed Chloe was why this girl tried to kill her in the first place. What has she done that was so horrible it warranted death? In the past her instincts would've told her to run but instead they were now telling her to stay and rip this woman apart limb from limb.

Before Buffy could fall into the remains of Chloe's coffin, gravity reversed around her and kept her suspended. It wouldn't have damaged the slayer to take the injury but the one responsible for the stop was unaware of this. With a sharp push, Buffy was propelled out and would be able to land safely a reasonable distance from her prey.
"Honestly. Is there a need for this?" A woman's voice called out from the darkness that cloaked the graveyard, "The girl hasn't done anything wrong yet to warrant such violence."
Mist crawled over the graves, joined into a cloud close to the skirmish and it spiraled up to about the height of an average humanoid. It widened and a woman stepped out donned in armor, a mask and a tattered, dark red cloak that had strange-looking runes sewn into the fabric.
The female, whoever she was, held up a blood packet to Chloe and tossed it to her. "Welcome to life as a vampire. Drink and satisfy your blood lust. I know it's not the same as fresh from the vein but it's either that or one of the slayers will get you. I can offer you help in controlling that urge, show you were the blood banks are, tell you the "do"'s and "don't"'s and so on if you are willing."
Amoura rarely had time for this and often took pity on those who were forced into this life by someone who refused to leave the humans--or other blood-bearing races--alone. Once upon a time, she was in shoes similar to this. Well, somewhat similar.
Of course, she didn't forget about the pointy stick wielding woman and looked at her.
"Explain why you were attacking her. You one of those comic book geeks that take those stories literally or something?"

Ooh how exciting, a worthy opponent to help stifle her rage and confusion for the moment. Buffy let the girl get a good hit in, it was more fun when the vamps thought that they had the slightest advantage. But then something weird was happening. The pull of the earth was falling away from her and soon Buffy found herself on her feet and much farther from the vampire than she liked to be. As well as another voice began to speak.
Buffy turned around sharply and saw the woman who looked like she just stepped out of Medieval Times. Obviously a vampire, given the things she was speaking about, but from what dimension? And time period for that matter?
Buffy raised an eyebrow when Amoura turned toward her. "I'm the geek? Have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately lady? Besides, perhaps a bit of Andrew's rants have rubbed off on me but I hardly have time for comic books and video games and dungeons and dragons or what have you" She was blabbering slightly, she knew these two would have no idea, nor care who Andrew was but when was Buffy ever the type to keep her mouth shut. "Let me clarify something for you. Me- Slayer, You- Vampire. Me take Mr. Pointy and put it into Vampire. Vampire become dust, Buffy become happy."

Chloe was expecting to hear the sound of a body hitting the casket below behind her any second now but that sound never came to past. There was no way Buffy could have defied the laws of gravity unless she was somehow holding onto the ledge of that hole. Chloe turned around just in time to see the blond being hoisted up through the air and back onto the ground away from her. It's official Chloe has entered the Twilight Zone and she was the star for today's episode.
She had turned just in time to receive the blood pack and see Amoura who began talking to her, explaining the "rules of the trade" as it were. Chloe didn't care enough to actually listen to all of it, except the part about this not being as good as blood directly from the veins. Well Chloe wouldn't be able to tell the difference as she hasn't had the chance to drink from someone yet. Chloe simply glanced at the blood pack for a moment wondering if she should even bother with it. Her head turned back to Buffy, watching the two female exchange words and glances with each other. One look at Buffy and Chloe was getting lost in the blood that ran through her veins again.
Time for a taste test. Chloe tore off the lid of the blood pack and gulped it down, the touch of the blood against her taste buds were enough to send the woman floating on cloud nine. Chloe's body bent back, her red eyes looked up to the night sky as the blood felt like an orgasm in her mouth and all of a sudden she felt like she could take on the whole world. What an amazing feeling. The most intoxicating thing she has ever experienced one bit and already she was begging for more And this was nothing like blood from the veins? It made Chloe curious so she dropped the empty pack to the ground and snuck up behind Buffy, lunging at her while her attention was on Amoura with her mouth opened, fangs extended and going for the neck to search for a vein. Chloe didn't care about anything else but getting more blood. She was addicted to it now.

"Let me clarify something for you. Me- Slayer, You- Vampire. Me take Mr. Pointy and put it into Vampire. Vampire become dust, Buffy become happy."
"I don't get it. You named that little thing?" Sometimes it was fun to be an ass but now wasn't the time so Amoura decided to drop the attitude. "In all seriousness, it's that easy where you're from? Stake to the heart, dust-ified vampire and it's all over? Wish it was that easy for me during my hunts."
Speaking of hunts: Chloe will find herself suddenly stopped midair during her attempt to pounce on the slayer. Amoura stepped off to the side enough to look at the new vampiress and her silver eyes bore into hers.
Bloodlust was just radiating off Chloe and it made the hunter's nose wrinkle in disgust. Not all vampires fresh from the grave were this desperate after a few packets but looks like this one simply had to go. In response to how addicted she had become to blood, Amoura had only one thing to say in a very harsh tone:
"Junkie."
The strong force that held onto her now sharply threw her towards the nearest tree to slam her against it. For biting the hand that was feeding her, she was in very, very deep shit.
"Disgusting. I've seen new vampires capable of controlling themselves and you let yourself sink to the level of an animal."
Amoura nodded at Buffy, "Well, have your way, slayer. I won't interfere this time unless you want me to do the honors?" If Buffy chooses to continue the fight, Amoura won't interfere again unless absolutely necessary.

Chloe was so close to robbing the blood that flowed through Buffy's veins that she could almost taste it touching her lips but she would be denied, denied by the armored woman with purple hair through some kind of force of black magic. Try as she might Chloe was unable to break through the invisible force holding her back from the very blood she wanted so much to taste and that's when her eyes glared into the silver ones of Amoura, returning a glance of pure hatred at the one that trapped her into the air until suddenly she crashed through a tree. Chloe hit the ground hard but then rolled forward and got up to her hands and knees quickly, releasing a loud and evil hiss towards the two women. The blood she had drank from the packet was still dripping down her chin and reaching her neck making the once beautiful and innocent women look like a disgusting and terrifying monster.
Chloe hissed again gripping the ground underneath her fingers tightly as she moved around and stalked the two like a cat. She had no idea what she was capable of or even where her limits truly lied. Images of that man who held her down beneath him came flashing back to the forefronts of her mind, it was the last thing she remembered and the overwhelming feeling of helplessness, it was like no other. Never again did she want to feel helpless. Never again would she be, as far as Chloe was aware, buried alive in a place she was not familiar with. If that blond came at her with the stake again she was going to rip out her spine. That was the current plan going through her mind now, rip out the spine of the loud girl. See what retort she can make to the sight of her spine in Chloe's hand and being used as a whip on her. Was that even possible? Chloe would have to see once she got her hands on a spine.
Then there was the armored woman. The moment she looked at those eyes Chloe wanted to tear them out and ram them down the girl's throat, watch her choke on her own eyeballs while she proceeded to peal the flesh from her very bones. Could she do it? Chloe certainly felt powerful enough to do that and then some. Her thoughts were interrupted however when she started seeing a tall, dark handsome man in her mind. Chloe didn't recognize him from any of her previous memories. She was in a bright room giving blood. What? No Chloe never gave blood she hated needles. Chloe shook her head trying to keep her mind focused on the two women but it kept going back to this man. Eyes as blue as sapphire, dimples, thin black eyebrows that matched his spiked hair and a nice flat forehead. Pointed chin. What the hell? How was a woman supposed to kill people with memories that weren't even her etched into her skull? For the second time in the night Chloe held onto her head and let out a high pitch cry of agony. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

The strangely dressed woman was now telling Buffy what to do, and it seemed to be the second time that she had interrupted what Buffy was about to do next. As she felt the vampire lunging closer to her, Buffy was ready to react in the most violent way possible but the vampire was thrown against a tree. She was going to rant about how she didn't need someone to tell her when a fight was hers and when to take action, but something that the strange woman had said echoed through Buffy's mind.
The word was 'Junkie', and as Buffy looked at the desperate vampire whose eyes were darting back and forth through her head filled with nonesense Buffy knew it was the perfect word to describe what the girl was going through. She lusted for blood like no other vampire she had seen before. Buffy knew how powerful that thirst could be, she knew first-hand as she allowed Angel to drink from her, and as he could not let go due to her blood tasting so good, so warm, so filled with life and power.
This girl needed to be put down, for her own good. Taken out of the misery that this demon inside of her was causing. And while she was distracted with the pain inside her head, it was a perfect opportunity for Buffy. She ran at the girl, but a straight on attack would be too predictable. So Buffy crouched down low and swept her left leg out, aiming to get the vampire off-balance so she would fall forward, then to make things quick and easy Buffy would go to jump on her back, pining her down as she closed her hands around the girls head and went to snap her neck.

Maybe she was giving Buffy too little credit but she had never met a human with superior abilities before. The woman's reflexes were quick, she possessed a grand amount of strength and other things that just left her baffled. These tears in the universe were confusing with all the different species and cultures filing in to further cause the imbalance that Arashi spoke of.
The hybrid snorted at her retort about how the balance no longer existed.
Why'd you call her a junkie? You know you were like that before.
Amoura ignored Other, pushed back her hood to reveal her black hair tainted with purple--Fuck you, Dante--, and lowered her mask to better watch the fight. The girl was more than capable and there was no need to interrupt again. So, here Amoura was in the middle of a graveyard with a blood packet, a straw and a show: this'll be fun. At the very least she could keep a lookout for other vampires rising from the grave while she has her snack.

Chloe was pulling so hard back on her pigtails she threatened to tear them straight off the back of her head as her vision cleared up and everything around her slowed down increasingly so, almost to a complete stop. Chloe could see Buffy charging towards her, beginning to sweep down in an attempt to take the vampire off of her feet. There was something strangely calming about seeing the world in this matter, everything moving at a snail's pace allowing her to catch all that went by even to the slightest of detail. Time stood still for the vampiress as she jumped up over the woman's attempt and then as she came back down, hit the woman in the face with her right heel using her face as a platform to allow her to jump further up into the sky and lunge forward.
Chloe could feel the wind blowing underneath her armpits as she felt like a bird flying above the world with great big wings. It was the greatest moment of serenity she had managed to attain since before her life went on a downward spiral and sent her into this strange new world where she had to dig herself out of a grave just to get into a fight with some bitch who wanted to kill her for god knows what reason. Chloe could linger up here in the air forever but that just wouldn't be possible as time all around her returned to normal right when gravity started to pull her down into the same goddamn grave she climbed out of in the first place, her face smacking right against the casket as the lid slam shut over her.

Buffy felt the shoe smack against her forehead, but it was a simple annoyance, probably wouldn't even bruise. She reached up to grab the girls foot, and managed to skim a finger along the edge of her shoe, but Buffy knew a wasted opportunity and simply focused on jumping to her feet as she watched the vampire's miscalculated jump fly right into the open grave. As the casket shut tight Buffy grasped at the opportunity to jump on it, making sure the girl would not escape.
It was all too easy now. And the next move Buffy had planned would perhaps lead to unbearable pain for the vampire, but what did she care if a creature with no soul was suffering?
The slayer reached into her pocket and pulled out a cheap lighter that she liked to keep on her. Not because she was a smoker, but because she knew one of a vampire's greatest weaknesses was fire. Caskets burned all too well also, as they were primed with polisher in order to get that sleek shine.
Buffy dropped the lighter and couldn't help but smile as when she jumped off of the casket a huge flame erupted from the open grave.

Here she was again in the casket but this time face first. Growling in a low pitch tone she pulled herself up expecting the casket door to easily fly open but it didn't for something was forcing it down. The smell of the woman came back to her nose and Chloe began to panic as she used all her abnormal strength to push that casket open but it was no good, the casket door just wouldn't budge. And just when Chloe thought things couldn't get any worse she started to smell something burning nearby. She wondered who on earth could be cooking something out in a graveyard until she realized that the burning....was coming from the casket!
The screams of the vampire could be heard from within the casket as she felt the fire at her heels, the flames licking her toes while the rest of it began to surround her body, her clothes and of course it wouldn't miss the long blond hair tied up in pigtails and buns. Chloe knew right away that she had to work quickly if she didn't want to die here so she burst forth from the casket and lunged out of the hole. Once Chloe hit the ground she began to roll about quickly and roughly until the flames were burnt out but most of her clothes were already burnt off and pieces of her hair flew off her head and down onto the ground by the time she stood up on her feet.
Eyes narrowed over Buffy as the hatred she had for this woman has reached ungodly level, before now Chloe had no idea she was capable of hating someone this much. Chloe path to get a good education has in fact landed her with nowhere to go, she was disowned by the parents she thought loved her for failing THEIR flawed plan, has gotten so drunk that she caught a ride on the rape train by a man who tried to kill her, buried alive, had to climb out of her own grave and now she was lit on fire: this was officially the worst day of Chloe's life and she would be damned if somebody else wasn't going to pay for it. Chloe quickly ran at Buffy and then lunged, her mouth wide open, drool escaping it as the fangs were bare, razor sharp and ready for action as Chloe intended to quite literally bite Buffy's head off right where she stood in the midst of her lunge.

Ah the sweet scent of burning evil. Well.. it wasn't very sweet but it was definitely the smell of a job well done. Buffy was quite pleased with herself although slightly disappointed that she hadn't thought of a clever pun as she dropped that lighter and watched the casket go up in smoke. Something like.. "I prefer my vampires well done" would have worked. But alas, perhaps next time. She was about to face the other woman that just sat there watching them, when she heard the cries of agony less muffled by a wall of wood.
As she turned around she saw the blonde girl writhing on the ground, hair falling out, skin becoming crispy, but definitely NOT turning into ash. Buffy rolled her eyes. "Seriously?! Why don't you just die already." She'd faced some tough vamps before. There were the primal ones, the Turok-Han, but those were a league of their own. Perhaps in other dimensions there were different rules for vampires. Obviously fire still hurt this one, but it did not burst into flame immediately like the freshly born ones she had come to know in Sunnydale. She did remember the time when Angel set Darla and Drusilla on fire and they still managed to live, albiet very week for a few days. They were centuries old though, they had much strength.
Buffy had little time to linger upon the lack of ash however as the vampire charged at her again, this time looking like a rabid zombie with snarls and drool flying everywhere. Leaving her mouth open like that was a bad idea. Buffy tracked her path and kept eye contact with her speed, then at the last second drew her fist up into an uppercut that would force the vampire's jaw backwards, then finalizing the deal with another punching combo with a few left and right hooks, and finally a powerful kick to the chest.

Chloe felt her jaw snap out of alignment as she let out another scream of pain before the punches came -- they hurt, they hurt so much and Chloe could still feel them hitting her long after the punches were over. The kick to the chest finalized it as she was sent flying through the air and crashed into one of the many headstones that could be found in the cemetery. It was as if the woman was made of steel when she punched Chloe -- how anyone could be that strong was beyond the 22 year old comprehension and yet, here they were accomplishing so many amazing feats despite their small statures and defying everything Chloe understood before this fateful day where she was buried. Soon, as she was hunched there on the ground, Chloe realized that the pain was starting to fade away and her jaw began to heal and snap back into alignment all its own.
Soon the damage those punches has caused was being reversed as her body just acted, working to assure her survival as everything else was. Chloe stood up good as new in defiance of the woman's great strength and hissed at her further. "What's the matter?" Chloe cracked her neck and then her knuckles, shooting a short glance Amoura's way before looking back to her opponent, her red eyes finally turning back blue as the animal inside was starting to lose out to the mind and will of the woman that was still very much present inside the body of the vampiress. If Chloe wanted to get out of this she had to rely on thought as much as instinct, she realized this now. Chloe remembered what the other woman had said about her before speaking further to the blond. "Is the junkie too much for you?"
