"Why should I?! You married the monster! The betrayer! You dare to ask something of me?!"
“What?”
"Give. Me. One. Good. Reason! I dare you!"
“Because I'll beat your whiny emo ass if you don't!”
Sazan was done being at the whim of this darker version of Amoura but before she could advance...
"Ah, ah. That was for Auntie Amoura!"
Her body was fried by the electricity she had absorbed going off prematurely from the inside out. The Hybrid fell to the ground, focusing her energy to regenerate from the damage inflicted upon her flesh by Maya as she heard the Joy's words from up above.
"How is Brother Michael by the way? It must eat you up inside knowing that he chose 'her' over you. A woman who resembles the one that laid with your sire and conceived a child."
“Y-you slept with Michael?”
Sazan looked up to Amoura with anger flooding her eyes and reason escaping out of her ear.
“You slept with Michael!?”
Once she was fully regenerated, the Hybrid shot up through the air like a beam of light and collided into Amoura like a rocket as an explosion of slashes with extreme accuracy from her scythe blade came soon after giving Amoura little time to react. |

"...Mommy!" Sasha squeaked. The shark tactic wasn't going to work it seems--the "Crazy Singing Lady" was expecting this to happen again. Where was Clash when you needed him? Or that pretty, white lady with the light? Or everyone else? Why was it just them fighting against The Joy?
Sasha flopped, transformed into her normal body, and swiftly backed up from the vampiress.
“You slept with Michael!?”
"Sazan! No! It's a trick!" Too late. The angry woman took the bait and attacked the "Cray-Cray Amoura". Now, pardon the pun, but there was something very fishy about this. The only reason The Joy would be doing this was to turn everyone against each other to make things easier for her. And if her plan succeeds...her family may be in grave danger. The time to stop messing around was now.
Sasha gave The Joy a venomous glare; and a faint, blue light radiated from her skin. The girl's pupils dilated and she raised her hands and curled them into tight fists. "You hurt my family." She growled. Sasha bent her knees, sprinted at The Joy, and in the blink of an eye her body transformed:
"I won't let you hurt my family again!"
Sasha moved quickly around The Joy, attempting to hack, slash and just about anything one can do when their body is now mainly composed of sharp swords. The shapeshifter was done goofing off in this situation--this threat was going to go down!

Amoura's bloodied, torn body skidded across the ground and fell into one of the open holes in the earth. Maya had succeeded in distracting her from Sazan's attacks, and when they came, she was unable to defend herself in time from the jealous woman's wrath. But that wouldn't be enough to keep her down for long.
A set of black, wispy tendrils dove up, pressed against the ground, and hoisted Amoura out of the abyss. The anger she displayed earlier had paled in comparison to what she felt towards Sazan. "HOW DARE YOU! ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO FALL FOR ALL OF THE WITCH'S LIES?!" A growl ripped from her throat "Here I thought you were the--" The Night Angel's eyes widened and she grabbed handfuls of her hair. "No! No! Shut up!"
Not even all the anger in the world could drown out the souls and memories she had devoured. "I can't! I can't control it! Stop it! I--!" Amoura screamed. Her wings thrashed around and struck at the vines along with anyone else that would be in their path. The prison she had trapped everyone in dissipated.
The earth was spitting up spikes. People were being impaled, buildings were split in two, dust was thrown into the air, and terrified citizens were fleeing for their lives. Around the out-of-controlled hybrid, shadowed gateways opened, and her familiars--whom she currently had no control over-- were unleashed to further the destruction of the city. It was going to get a lot worse if this wasn't stopped. |

Maya saw Sasha lunge towards her in the air with blades for hands and the Joy moved backward through the air evading the strikes and singing as the shapeshifter continued her relentless assault.
"I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away."
Then Maya moved out of Sasha's path in the air and watched gravity do the rest as the shapeshifter was on a collision course to the abyss below.
"I believe you're gonna fall.
I believe you're gonna touch the floor
The ground below will kiss your face
Had it not been picked up and tossed away."
We all couldn't defy physics.

“Shut up! Just shut up! I had about enough of you!”
"No! No! Shut up! I can't! I can't control it! Stop it! I—!"
“What!?”
Sazan looked around at the destruction on the city and cast a spell to protect the surviving people from both Amoura and Maya's power as she then absorbed the familiars, releasing their souls and causing them to disperse before turning back to the hybrid.
“Is that the best you can do? Is it!? You were talking such a big game before!” |
