With that, he puts the cylinder back into his pocket. Vlad looked around his surroundings. He sees where the grass is burt, but other than that, it looks like a simple grass plain. Vlad realizes something that could in fact break the mano y mano. He opens his mouth and wills his fangs to flash towards the man.

"I want to warn you though, I am I vampire. I do have control of my fangs, though if blood is spilled, I cannot put them back in. I do give you my word, I will not use them until the battle is over and there is a victor.'

With that, he motions Xanados to have the first attack, and gets into a defensive stance.

No weapon... very well... He extended his arms once again, and his claws vanished, much like the flames had. His wings followed right after. He reached behind his neck and unfastened a hidden clasp, which he did again beneath his arms, causing his robes to fall away, revealing a black tunic and similarly black leggings. Let's see just how fast this vampire is... something in the archives about vampires being faster than most beings... He stepped forward with his left foot, bringing his hands up near his face in a kickboxing stance.

He kicked off into a run, lowering his hands only to perform a feint and dodge to the right, hands right back up in the defensive stance again.

The man begins to run at Vlad and lowers his hands.

What, why is he lowering his hands...

Not sure what this man is doing, Vlad sidesteps to his right, though still facing where the man was running from. He realizes that the man is not there, and as a reaction he jumps back, seeing the man to his left.

Ah, it was a feint, that explains it

Vlad begins to run at the man and raises his left fist in an attempt to strike. As he gets close to the man, he shoots out his right hand, aiming for the man's solar plexus.

As soon as the Pravus prepared for a strike with his left hand, Armani brought his right hand up to intercept the punch, only to find out that it was a feint as well. The punch aimed at him was somewhat unexpected, and he barely managed to step his back foot away, turning his body away from the boy. He slid back into his defensive stance and aimed a hook with his left hand, followed up with an uppercut with the right.

Vlad smiles as the man did not expect his feint. As Xanados slides back, Vlad puts both hand up to guard his head. Xanados then attempts to hook Vlad in the head. Vlad smiles again, the hook hits his arm, and when it does he rotates his arm to grab ahold of the hook, and slams it down. He realizes that Xanados has started an uppercut, though Vlad's counter prevented it from hitting his head, and instead his hip. (The counter was slamming Xanados's arm down. Unnerved that he almost got hit, he continues to hold down Xanados's arm and raise his left hand. He begins his punched aimed towards Xanados's eye.

When his hook was blocked and dragged down, he stopped his uppercut partway through to roll away once again, this time rolling to the left, to the right side of the Pravus. He took the time to roll backwards and come up, planting his left foot to the ground, canceling his backward momentum and reversing it, using that momentum to power another feint, this time a right handed hook, generally done from a left handed pose, whereas Armani had previously entered a right hand pose. Either the Pravus would be thrown off, or the fact that he had claws earlier would make him note Armani's ambidextrous affinity. After the feint, he would slam his left foot off the ground into a roundhouse kick.

Vlad's strike stops the moment the man roles away. He sees Xanados take a left hand stance, and then throws a right hand hook. Without thinking, Vlad lowers his shoulder, and charges at the man. The hook hits his back, though he shrugs it off. As quickly as he can (which is very quickly) he throws a backhand aim at Xanados's temple.
