Hi, everyone  In the process of wanting to expand on Genesis a bit, and the fact Ayen, Yuna and Saturn are on the path to sailing off of Jherra, I wanted to introduce a new continent called Elim. One of the cities idea I already have for it is inspired by Costa del Sol from Final Fantasy VII, a place with a beach. I'm making this thread to give everyone a chance to comment and pitch their own suggestion. What would you like to see in the new continent; what kind of locations to add to it and even what kind of god should be in charge of Elim. Discuss. |

Since we're taking inspiration from FFVII how about something like Icicle Inn now that we don't have a Crystal Expanse?

Perhaps this time we can have more enemy encounters between locations? I think this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce creatures we haven't seen in Genesis yet for a more action/adventure feel like orcs, goblins, dark elves, golems and maybe even a dragon. We could have a couple of dungeons for players to explore too. Jherra always seem so tiny in the exploration.

I recommend more regions this time around. I've always imagined Jherra as a small continent due to the fact it was basically two regions surrounded by city-states, which is now one region surrounded by city states. We could have the regions act as the main boards and then put the locations in as sub-boards.
I would also recommend not officially introducing this new continent until Tajna wraps up the Arashi plot.

Since the population in Jherra is mostly made up of humans maybe Elim can be something else, like elves or dwarfs if we're going the Dungeons and Dragons route.

I second Utena's idea. It'd be nice to see some new creatures on here aside from the usual vampires and demons.

With Jherra representing the judeo-christian faith with their god I think it would be a good idea to have Elim's god represent another religion. We could introduce characters from Greek mythology as one example. Have Gaia with the titans rule over Elim and with the Trials of Fate story we can replace her with Zeus and recreate the gods/titans war on DoA with a mortal Gaia leading the charge.

We could have two main storyarcs running simultaneously. Put all the chapter posts into one thread named Book of Jherra and then make a Book of Elim.
