They were finally getting somewhere but before they could move not two steps the ground beneath them began to work against them. Tori struggled to keep her balance as a giant ice worm emerged from out of the ground and made its presence known in the face of Tori and Superwoman.
“Oh you have to be kidding me!”
Looking around for anything she could use as a weapon all there was to see were miles and miles of snow. Thinking fast on her feet Tori build a snowball in her hands and threw it into the eyes of the giant worm just long enough to temporarily blind it.

Superwoman grabbed the tail of the worm and flew up high into the sky bringing the worm back around at full speed and slamming it head first into the ice with enough force to snap its neck and kill it on impact. By the time she released her hold on the worm and landed on the ground more monsters, demons, rose out of the ground up ahead each one with one goal in mind. To keep them back. "It looks like they don't want us going any further." Kara motioned for Tori to get on her back. "Grab on!"

“You think!?”
Thank God Superwoman still had her superpowers. Tori didn't want to think about where they'd be if that wasn't the case. She ran over to Kara's side and grabbed a hold of her from behind while looking out towards the various monsters blocking their path before looking back at her.

"Fly." Superwoman boosted up into the sky and moved as fast as she could move through the air as giants attempted to snatch them both out of the air. Her eyes grew red and she released a massive Heat Ray beam into one giant worm that tried to eat them and then froze up the head of another before smashing the frozen head to pieces. She had no idea where one goes when you died between life and death and she wasn't about to find out as she performed every evasive maneuver in the book to escape the monsters' wrath as she could see a bright doorway leading back to Genesis. "Tori, I see it! We're almost there!" With enough speed to break the sound barrier, Superwoman sped through the threshold of life. Through the threshold home.

They were approaching the end, she could feel it. But the closer she got the more memories came flooding back of her last moments on Genesis. The bravery she had to stand up to the monster that was threatening Kara's body. The way his eyes lit up when they faced her and how everything just went black seconds after she tried to run. What state was her body in? Did she even have a body to go back to? There was no time to ponder as she was suddenly blinded by the white light and once again her surroundings faded as she and Kara did what no one amongst them has ever done.
