A single shot was fired into the air as all the people surrounding the gun-wielder immediately dropped down to the ground on their stomachs and placed their hands atop the back of their heads. The six gunmen spread about the bank watching over the hostages as their leader went to the front and demanded that the woman behind the front desk opened up the vault. The sound of police sirens could be heard off in the distance and the robbers knew that the situation was about to get serious as the woman opened up the vault and they began to raid the cash money off the walls but there was only one question left remaining.
How to escape?

There would be no escape for them. As their hearts were consumed by greed they would hear the sound of the vault door slamming shut and locking them inside the object of their own desire, scratching and clawing desperately to get out but to no prevail. Superwoman had came onto the scene quickly and closed the vault door once they were all inside so they would be locked in, now putting them at the mercy of the Moon Valley Police Department. Eying the civilians and the workers at the bank she offered them a friendly smile to tell them that everything would be ok then gave them a salute before flying off, allowing the police to take it from there.
While flying through the air Kara couldn't help but think about her last conversation with Carari Grey. She was dreading the moment that Intergang and Amoura would finally make their move. Tori and the rest of the gang was unable to find anything on either the terrorist group or the Night Angel. It was like neither one of them existed, and that was probably the way they preferred it. Superwoman was being extra careful today, keeping her eyes and ears open at all times and not allowing anything to distract her for long.

"Drive!" Superwoman would hear a man screaming at a woman down below just outside a 7/11 as he forced himself on the passenger side of her car and held a pistol to her head. Complying for the sake of her life she slammed her foot on the gas and headed down the road, nearly running over several other Moon Valley citizens on the way as a high speedway chase soon followed and the man started shooting back at the cops while making sure the driver didn't try anything funny.

The moment the armed man stuck his head out in order to shoot at the cops a narrow Heat Beam shot the gun out of his hand and burnt his hand up badly in the process. He let out a loud hiss of pain as he held onto his hand in pain. The woman, seeing that the man no longer had a weapon to hold her by, quickly slam on her brakes and left the car running for dear life. Superwoman floated high above the situation, her X-Ray Vision seeing through the hood of the car to see how much damage she has caused to the man's hand. It wasn't anything that a doctor couldn't tend to and now, the man in question was surrounded by the police with nowhere to go except jail. Well first a hospital, then jail. Turning in the air Superwoman flew off to continue her patrol of the city.

And that distraction was all the time she needed.
"It was foolish of you to try to further disrupt the already tipped scales and under Maricul's rules, no less."
The Night Angel had chosen a clever means to conceal herself: in the form of a bat hidden in the ventilation system. There had been complaints in the city of infestations of all forms of vermin hiding in places they shouldn't be and there were other bats around her rousing from their slumber. She joined in the wing stretching and grooming but they won't cover her for long. Once they leave, she'll be alone.
"You already know of the consequences of your actions."

It was dark. Carari was alone in her office, with her suit jacket on the back of her chair she had on her black vest, white button up dress shirt underneath and black slacks with a pair of black dress shoes. A cigarette firmly between her lips, the bud at the end of the cigarette slowly burning away as the room was filled with smoke. The Mayor was savoring every last square inch of the cig, as if she knew it would be her last. Then the words of The Night Angel flooded her ear as it was finally time. The Mayor had but one thing to say to the woman:
“I’ve not a clue what you’re talking about.”

"It was foolish of you to try to further disrupt the already tipped scales and under Maricul's rules, no less." "What?" "You already know of the consequences of your actions." "No. Carari!" Picking up speed Superwoman flew through the air with great haste ultimately crashing right through the right side wall of the mayor's office, which she would gladly pay for later when she had the money, and stood in the office by Carari Grey's side. "I'm here, Mayor!" Superwoman's eyes then followed the sound she heard the voice from up to the ventilation shaft where the bats were. "You're a bat....?"

"You know of what I speak. You're no fool. Unless Maricul refuses to tell her puppets everything."
Superwoman had overheard everything. It would seem her sharp sense of hearing had been underestimated in this case. Amoura's silver eyes narrowed to slits at the "hero" and she spread out her wings. "So, tell me, Superwoman. What lies has the mayor fed you to keep her on your side? Have you even bothered looking into as to why there was an attempt on her life?"
The Night Angel dropped out and flew to another part of the room rather than taking on her humanoid form. From a bookcase, she perched there and stared at them. "Probably not. That's the problem with people like you. While I applaud your efforts in keeping the city safe, you're overlooking a major problem. Now mayor, why don't you tell her the truth? Or will I have to get a certain item to prove what your existence has been all about?"

Carari Grey didn’t underestimate the woman’s hearing. In fact she was counting on it to play a factor with alerting Superwoman to Amoura’s presence. As time was given to The Mayor by the two speaking, she clicked on a button hidden underneath her desk and then stood up to stand next to the hero of Moon Valley.
“Be careful, Superwoman. Creatures like her are masters of deception. They’ll go as far as to bend reality to feed you their lies.”
Carari looked towards Amoura with a sickened expression on her face.
“You’re under arrest.”
That was more meant to insult The Night Angel then stand as a threat. She then turn her head back to Superwoman.
“Don’t let her get away.”

Superwoman kept her eyes on the bat looking to be confused by what she was saying and what Carari Grey was saying. She did look into the reason behind the shooting, well more like her friends looked into the reason behind the shooting and came up short. Just like they came up short with the death of the shooter but their only theories that made any sense was that a vampire killed him. Was this that vampire? Superwoman made up her mind, this person had to pay for the life she took several months ago and if not that, the life she tried to take today. Taking in a deep breath she released it, freezing it cold enough to cover the bat in a blockade of ice.

Amoura's form became intangible and she slipped down the bookcase, away from the oncoming frozen breath. For now, the vampire was out of sight, but at the back of their minds, they'd hear something: laughter. It started off small and it grew in volume.
"Arrest me? Really? That's got to be the funniest joke I've heard all day, Grey. And as for you..." Superwoman would feel eyes on her, but from where, it was too difficult to say.
"What did she really tell you for my reason in coming here? For a lousy seal into another dimension? Please. I could sense that miles away and if I wanted to open it, I could have done it while you were away in a matter of minutes. Let me guess. Your superhero complex forces you to be ignorant to the real problem at hand, doesn't it?"

“I don’t joke.”
The door to the mayor’s office swung open and several Isafaro officers came rushing in with their rifles, examining the room for the bat that was Amoura while more officers were surrounding the building leaving nothing unchecked to lessen the chance of escape.
“You should have killed me when you had the chance.”

"I'll be the one asking the questions around here," said Superwoman in a stern tone of voice while looking around with her enhanced vision for any sign of Amoura. "It were you who killed the assassin that tried taking out the mayor, wasn't it? Even though he was in custody and no longer a threat to anyone. And you tried to take another life here today. I don't care what your reasons are, you're nothing but a heartless murderer and you belong behind bars!" Superwoman's attention was drawn to the door as it swung open and Isafaro soldiers started swarming the place like locust. Confusion could be seen in the cape crusader's eyes as she looked back at Carari. "What are Isafaro soldiers doing here?"

The Vulture troops made their way down into the basement of the building leaving no corner unchecked and no shadow presence unexplored, using all the resources they had available to them to find the one called the Night Angel who now hid out of sight from the various people coming in and out of City Hall. If they could not find any trace of her then they were to secure the area to ensure that nothing got in or out, especially the hybrid that has been causing problems in this world since day one. Little did they know exactly what they were getting themselves into.
The crimes halted by Superwoman weren't just isolated incidents, they were clever ploy crafted by Intergang to keep the superhero at bay but Bruno knew that it wouldn't be enough. That the Night Angel he met was not the same Night Angel who valued stealth and silence over aggression and brutality. So he had another plan in mind. One of his people were already inside the building, namely in the basement, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to present itself. Using stealth technology from Intergang the agent were able to be out in the open and out of sight from the many soldiers now all around him. Picking up a nearby shovel and dropping it, one of the soldiers spun around and began firing without thinking, right at his own comrade. The legacy of the Night Angel having peaked his paranoia. The soldier fell down to his death, blood pouring out onto the seal that has been dug up nearby. The soldiers didn't know what to make of it when they first saw it but soon they would.
The whole land of Moon Valley began to tremble, as if in fear, as the seal split straight down the middle and divided, opening the gateway that dwell beneath the surface. Horrible screams could be heard all around the citizens of Moon Valley as a round red circle beam of dark energy shot out from the gateway, going up to the sky and towering over the small mountain town for the rest of Jherra to see as it began to spread, covering the town in a crimson darkness. Hell has been unleashed and was now merging with the world.

“You should have killed me when you had the chance.”
The Night Angel's chuckle echoed through the room, again making sure no one could pinpoint her location. "Why should I have done it sooner when I now have a captive audience? It makes things more fun, does it not?" By a window, she revealed herself in corporeal form just as the city began to shake. To everyone's surprise in the room, The Night Angel looked shocked; she didn't expect that to happen.
"Should have had that seal guarded." Her crimson eyes locked onto Carari and Amoura's body dissipated into fog before vanishing from sight. With this building right in the path of the opening to hell, who knows what could happen? The earthquakes were shaking it to its foundation, which was beginning to crack.
Then bombs detonated.
Amoura had planted sets of them within the structure on one of the floors while Superwoman had been distracted by the robbery and the earthquake assisted in bringing it down into a pile of rubble. Standing outside, The Night Angel held onto her remote, knelt down and watched as hell began to merge with this world.
She did nothing to save the screaming citizens nor seek a way to seal off hell–she just remained there and watched like it was cheap entertainment. "Well, my dear, you were good for something," she peered down at the detonator in her hand and carelessly dropped it, "making things explode."
