Drake was laying on his back as the first plane fell from the sky he didn't move knowing that the operator would probably die on impact and that, with such an impact most of the valuables would be gone or destroyed. He heard a loud crash some odd miles away from him to the east. Drake smiled a cruel, sly smile. He liked looking at the stars on nights like this, with people falling out of the sky, to stare at the stars and wonder what was to come next. Most nights like this didn't have many crashed or freaks falling into orbit but he liked the small amount of deaths anyway. He was silent as he could hear the small amount of wind blowing the brush around him.
Drake stood stretching his legs after a good ten minutes after the crash he had witnessed, "Well, if anyone survived I guess I should make it my pleasure to, uh, make it a cozy welcome party." Drake, using "cozy" lightly, smirked and reached down and grabbed his book making sure to wipe all the dust and debris off the cover of the haunting book. He stood back up and leaned back popping his back. Drake reached down and grabbed his cloak and put it on tieing the string around his neck loosely, grabbing the hood he flipped it up over his head covering the small devil horns that were a constant reminder of what he was. He fixed his glove and saw the small A with a circle around it imprinted in his left forearm, another small reminder, his smirk went away as he saw it again. He grabbed his felt sleeve and pulled it down to cover the mark.
Drake looked towards the east and started walking, This should be most interesting, he thought. He looked up again knowing it was to be a far distance before he found the ship. He started counting the stars looking for the satilights and which were planets. Drake heard another crash a little further up the way, "Two? In one night? With very little time between? This, Drake is a 'very' special night indeed," Drake got more serious in his tone as he whispered to himself, two in one night wasn't rare but the fact that there was little in between landing and time was extraordinarily rare.
Drake heard some talking and, he thought, a small scream or something rather. Drake walked with a quickened pace knowing too late that he wasn't the only walking outside tonight. He got on a small ridge overlooking the scene. He crouched as not to be seen by the three talking. "Maybe, if I look nice these mortals will, uh, allow me to have a little fun." His smile crept on his face as the last words left his mouth. Drake stood and hoped down and rolled as he hit the ground and brushed the dust off his shoulders and his pants.
Drake looked a little closer as he saw the small group. He focused on one of them as saw the 'it', whatever it was, was not just a regular human, but had dealt with death before. He looked at another, wearing a jumpsuit or something it seemed. He figured that one would be a little easier to deal with, maybe, Drake never underestimated his opponents he knew, that was how demons are taken down, Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal, were all examples of that. Taken down by one human, they all were. He then saw another which wore weird get-up. As Drake examined closer his head began to hurt as if it were a warning that this one was more than what the eye saw. Drake knew that he couldn't take them all on but he was too close to walk away now, not when he could investigate also.
Drake walked within hearing distance and yelled, "Hey! You three! Why are all of you out here this late by the Downward Spiral?!" Drake jogged a bit closer after letting the question sit in the air. He tried to cover his book with his cloak and left arm as best as he could. "Sorry if I startled you, my name is Drake. How may I, help you or, uh, better yet introduce you to this world?" Drake smiled slyly.

He shakes his head, noticing immediately Wedge's dislike for the young woman. He'd probably had bad run ins with bounty hunters or had a bounty on him, judging from the way he tensed up. Ah well. "Samus huh? Pleasure to meet you, my name's Dante. Welcome to the mixing pot of reality." he says with a wry chuckle. Seems everyone and their mother was making their way to Genesis, gods above knew why. "So, you seemed as if you were looking for this place in particular, any reason why? Or just a random whim to track down some planet found on an ancient manuscript or something?" he says, deceptively intelligent, despite his calm, easy going demeanor.
Genesis wasn't exactly a name known throughout the realities as a world where everyone and everything could be found, it was only recently that the tower had become active after all, and began drawing people in. So far, none had made it off to spread tales of this world either. So the fact that she came looking specifically for this world made him curious, why was she here? And what brought her here? His musings would have to wait however, as another new arrival appeared on scene, and the stench of the man nearly made him retch. He reeked of demon, blood and decay. Gods above have mercy, seemed he might have to kick somethings ass here after all. He quickly composes himself before anyone could notice and levelled his gaze at the man, taking in his appearance at once, wishing for a fleeting moment he was more like some of the more scholarly Planeswalkers that could deduce everything about a person just by looking at him. He usually killed it so it wasn't a problem however.
"Dante, pleasure to meet you Drake!" he says with a bright cheer to his voice, regularly walking up to meet the man as he jogged closer, placing himself between him and the other two that he'd met. No sense in letting the mortals get hurt when an immortal nigh-god could take care of anything that should happen. He offers his hand in greeting, smiling brilliantly, "Haven't startled us at all, so no worries, and I myself am familiar with this world. I happened to encounter these two, and decided to stick around to see what help I could offer. What about you, lost as well or something? Not many people hang around the tower, when there are other cities to enjoy, or powerful opponents to be fought." he asks casually, grinning lightly while he keeps eye contact with the man, resting into an easy stance, his weight on his right leg, thumbs hooked into the belt loops of his jeans.

Samus ignored Wedge's barely hid disgust for her. As a bounty hunter, she was used to those outside her profession to dislike and distrust her, and for good reason; most bounty hunters were vicious, cruel men and women who put money before anything else, including the lives of others. But, even though it might seem a bit arrogant, Samus always saw herself above bounty hunters that worked like that. The only reason she took the job of a bounty hunter was because it gave her the freedom required for her to do her duty; protection of the galaxy.
At Dante's questions, Samus smirked underneath her helmet. It seemed he was a bit curious of her knowledge of Genesis, as it seemed that most came to Genesis completely by accident. But she knew little of this Dante, even though he seemed polite, and had no intent on telling him anything that wasn't his business. She was about to open her mouth to speak when her HUD notified her of an approaching person. Or creature. Tensing slightly, she watched as Dante moved to put himself between the figure and her and Wedge. An an attempt to protect them, perhaps? Whatever the reason, Samus remained still, but ready to move if the situation got ugly.
Switching to her Scan Visor, she quickly scanned the man before her who introduced himself as Drake. The condition of the molecules hinted at him being a shape-shifter of some sort, but she couldn't be completely sure. He seemed nice enough, offering his assistance. Raising a hand slightly in greeting, she introduced herself. “Samus. Samus Aran.”

Wedge pressed a control on the side of his ship, and the X-wing lowered to a few feet above the ground. He was in no rush to jump out and greet this newcomer; seeing his actions and behaviors did nothing to ease his tension, especially with how he was hiding something. What it was, Wedge didn't know, but usually people back in his galaxy were never the greatest of individuals to do business with.
Mynock's dome rotated, a small whine emitting from it's body. Wedge quickly turned and called to him, "Mynock, are you ok?" The droid blatted a harsh reply and began processing data. The X-wing's power output increased a bit, catching Wedge off guard when the ship rose a few feet suddenly. "Careful, Mynock, the gravity's a bit different here. Try to equalize the inertial compensator to handle it. And see if it's not just me who can't figure out where we are."
The droid scanned the surrounding area, covering it in a sensor ping. A map arose in the main console of the cockpit, and Wedge could tell this world was a lot different than others. Concentrations of power, ranging from older technologies to some unknown one around a city that Mynock could not figure out, but still registered on the sensors. Wedge made a note to figure what the hell it was.

Drake stood at an awkward stance as the one who hurt his head walked it what seemed at a slow motion. He stopped and stood normally but keeping his muscles tense waiting for this one to attack, but he did not. The one in front of him introduced himself. Dante. "Me? Lost? oh no, I am far from lost here in Genesis. As for the tower? I like it, it reminds me of..." Drake paused not wanting to show he coherently evil. "It reminds me of where I am from. See I am from a region with great towers as this one and I can get home sick. Towns, you say? Eh, To crowded for my liking, and fighting is just too... what's the word... laborious for my tasting, honestly Dante, no need to put up your guard, I am not here to fight, only to greet these new people to, "our", land." Drake smiled through his mask.
He stood trying to make sure his book was still hidden from plain view. He waited for Dante to speak again put it seemed like he was either a little shocked from his last words or he was thinking on how he should ask next. Drake went to open his mouth again when the, "it" showed itself. She introduced herself to Drake as Samus Aran. "Why it is my pleasure Samus Aran to meet you." Drake said somewhat charming. He looked at her up and down, from head to foot, "What is with the full body armor Samus, afraid that someone might attack?" He stood smiling again under his mask again.
Then he noticed the third and final member of this "party". This one was completely oblivious of Drake's presence, so it seemed. Drake turned toward Dante and Samus again and spoke softly "Who is this?".

Through her opaque visor, Samus frowned, annoyed at his comment. So what if she was wearing her suit? She liked wearing her suit. After wearing it so often into battle, she had gotten used to it on her body so much that she felt... naked in a sense, without it. And while she was expecting an attack, that didn't mean she couldn't be ready for one. "It doesn't hurt to be prepared," She replied casually, metal hand resting on metal hip. He seemed to be a pleasant person, but she had seen enough of people to know not to trust anyone right off the bat. In fact, one should take a very long time to trust another person.
Turning to look at Wedge, Samus had opened her mouth to speak when she was cut off by Adam. "Lady," He called out inside her helmet so only she could hear. Switching to the comm instead of her speakers, the bounty hunter spoke privately to her AI. "Yes, Adam?"
"The Suit Repair function of the ship has been restored," He informed her curtly. "You will now be able to restore energy, ammunition, and add or remove upgrades to your suit." A small smirk on her lips, Samus thanked him before cutting off the channel. Despite only being a carbon copy of her former Commanding Officer, Adam seemed to always know exactly what she was thinking and how she wanting things done. While she probably wouldn't admit it, she found that having an AI with her made her life a lot easier and a bit less lonely.
Turning on her outside speakers once more, the blond's attention was once again put on the group. "I'm sorry, where were we?"

Dante laughed lightly, his quick eyes noting the movement he made to keep something concealed. On a hunch, he extended his senses towards the man, and wasn't surprised to find a demonic presence to him. Hardly concerning though, demons and their ilk tended to pop up everywhere on his world. He was probably a teifling or half demon of some sort. Nothing for him to be concerned over. He was extremely creepy however, that was moderately off putting. He remained standing between Drake and the others as best he could, before addressing the man. "I've no reason to put my guard up, besides, I'm not fond of fighting. I prefer friendly chats myself." he says with a shrug.
"As for who that is, he's another one that just arrived. I'll let him introduce himself if he wishes to do so. I for one don't like sharing information on other people that seem like decent folk without knowing they don't mind. Seems rude to me." he says with another shrug. Something about the manner in which Drake carried himself made Dante wary, and his crimson eyes never left him for more than a fraction of a second, occasionally sweeping the area around them. Routine paranoia checks had saved him from many an ambush in the past, but it didn't seem to be needed in this case. "So tell me Drake, what exactly are you? You're not entirely human, that's for sure. Coupled with the fact that you're keen to keep something hidden from us is enough to make someone suspicious, perhaps suspicious enough to skip formalities and go right to the killing." he says, his voice casual as his eyes watched him for any signs of an imminent assault. He'd find himself woefully outmatched in battle if he launched an assault on this group, unless that item he was keeping hidden was a grimoire of powerful and fell magic, and he was more than just lightly brushed with demonic energies. Even then, Dante had nothing but confidence that he could take him.

Wedge, rather than putting it away like he so planned, frowned at the data. The city was emitting some sort of energy that none of his instruments could understand. He pressed a button and turned off the sensor sweep data, and rotated the X-wing around to the trio. He was unwilling to step out of his X-wing, aware that more pilots have been lost to ground ops than many were willing to admit. He felt safest in his cockpit, where shields, durasteel, and his skills could keep him alive, rather than a flightsuit and luck.
All this commotion kept Wedge on edge. Something he never really liked, especially when a friendly could possibly be a threat. He had no desire to communicate his feelings to the newcomers, so he remained silent in his cockpit as his eyes and ships sensors scanned the people, watching and listening to their conversation.
Mynock blatted a harsh tone at Wedge for not going out to talk, and Wedge glared right back at him. "I'm not going to abandon you two that fast on a possibly hostile environment. I'd rather play it safe. Besides, I don't think that gunship can beat us in a fight, neither can those two people, as long as we remain inside. We'll be fine in here." Mynock whistled in disapproval to his tactic, but complied.

Drake listened quietly to each of the two's statements and questions they asked. Samus seemed a little bit more relaxed than Dante. He put his weight from one foot to the other letting his hip pop out to the left a bit. Drake's face behind his mask was changing from a dim smile to a more bitter stare at the one who called himself Dante, as he asked about Drake. "Tis true what you say. I am no human, but neither are you so I yield to you in any fight, as is my way. I am a demon from Hell. I was on a place called earth for about a thousand years, killed hundreds of thousands, maybe a million. I destroyed many great cities and ended empires. I am a Reaver Shapeshifter. I am a demon in human form, but I prefer this form it is much more safe, you know, with all these fighters and heros looking for a fight." Drake stopped and took a breath. He felt like he had taken a big burden off his chest and he closed his eyes to sigh. Then all of his senses returned and his eyes opened in a flash.
Drake's eyes darted around through small slits of his eye lids. He ran his tongue around the inside of his mouth thinking what his next move should be to Dante's questions. Yes, I have a secret, and I guess I should show it now." Drake took the book out from behind him and held it in front of his chest. "This is called 'The Book of the Damned' it is written in an ancient language and holds many dark secrets and much in the ways of dark magic" Drake kept the book clasped to his chest but letting them see what the cover looked like only.

The World that Never Was seemed to exist in the world of Somebodies. Interesting. What power could do this he had no Idea, but The Castle that Never Was was indeed vulnerable from attack now, but then again wasn't. The city around the castle was mixed and very hostile. Nobodies were a plague on this world.... and Somebodies never knew when they might be attacked by what they call "Monsters"
He was currently in the highest point of his castle, looking over the landscape of the merged worlds. Chaos and confusion seemed to reign and yet on the corner of his eye, a few specks on the horizon. People? perhaps so... and..... ships.... how many? Two? Wonderful. These thoughts made him look up at the unfinished Kingdom Hearts which loomed in the distant sky like a moon. He sighed and prepared a Corridor of Darkness... with its destination near the people
When he stepped from it his hood was up to conceal his face. He simply stood there watching them to figure why they were here of all places.
