Personality: Laelith, like most Drow, is very selfish. She believes that every other race is inferior and even those of her own kind are often deemed 'lesser beings'. With Drow it is "every man for himself" as they only think about themselves being superior. She is also a very wise and perceptive person particularly when she hunts as she needs to have an eye for detail. Laelith can be quite jealous and will not hesitate to get rid of things or people blocking her objectives.
Special Abilities: High perception, able to shadowmeld due to dark skin.
Weapons: Bow and a steel short sword.
History: Laelith was born into House Arabund, the 'Daughters of the Spider's Kiss', a female only clan house in Cairnhelm. Her town is located in The Darklands in the Underdark, a realm hidden below ground consiting of various tunnels and caverns holding towns and even cities. Cairnhelm was only a small village.
When Drow parents give birth, their child is then taken into the care of a housemaiden, in Laelith's case she was raised by Arabund's housemaiden Azkirlita. Drow do not grow up with the human view of parents and so has never had that or a similar relationship. Once of age, Drow are put to work as priestesses for their deity Lolth, the spider queen, or as farmers and even concubines for the royalty in the Underdark.
Laelith took it upon herself to leave House Arabund and live the life she wanted and not what was to be forced upon her, ultimately this resulted in her being Exiled from her home with no prospect of returning. She had nowhere to go, being banished from your house was the most shameful thing that could happen to a Drow and so she left the Underdark in search for a new home.
