Hi there. Shy, slightly socially awkward, nerdy writer here. But you're welcome to call me Comma, if you'd prefer. I know I prefer it, at least. ;D
I'm familiar enough with proboards set-ups and gradually getting more familiar with RPing...I'm a D&D novice with a very large campaign of my own in developmental stages; and I've RPed on a couple proboards sites, one of which I administrate (nothing to brag about, it's still a very small site that needs a bit of work, but I've had loads of fun there).
In short, I've discovered over the past few years that I love RPing. Paranoid as I often am of joining new sites, I figured I'd give this one a go, as it looks like quite a lot of fun. So, like I said...I'm shy, pretty awkward, definitely a complete nerd, and all my free time that isn't taken up by guitar tends to be taken up by writing (split about 50/50, I guess). I don't have a terrible amount of experience RPing, but I do love it very much and I'm always looking to learn.

Oh my, I wasn't expecting so many replies so quickly. And everyone's so...nice.  Well, it's definitely wonderful to meet everyone! This has put an abrupt end to my expectations of being chased off into the cyber-sunset with pitchforks and torches (which I expect any time I join a new site, so that's nothing strange for me...). It might be a short while before I post anywhere besides character creation, since I'm going to be studying everything closely to avoid looking like a complete idiot; but I definitely hope to be active here once I've learned the ropes. I've already read nearly everything in the links to the left on the welcome table, so...guess I'll see everyone around soon! ^_^ |
