Excluding handheld consoles.
So out of the three listed above which is your personal favorite? I only really played the 360. I tried the Wiimote, not a fan, though to be fair I didn't get much of a chance to get used to it and the PS3 looks great but the only game on there that really sticks out to me which I can't already get on the 360 is Metal Gear Solid 4 and $300.00 is not worth one game.
So by default, the XBOX360 gets my vote.

PlayStation 3. Definitely. From an objective standpoint it's a superior system to 360 since it has more power. IMO it has a better quality selection of games as opposed to 360's wide-selection of games, fun exclusives like Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone, Gran Turismo, God of Wars, etc. etc. and has a blu ray player to boot.
For me the PlayStation 3 wins by a large margin. The one thing I will give 360 that I think is better than the PS3 would be their online play. Although it costs a fee while the PS3 online is free, I've found it's of much better quality. You get what you pay for I guess.

Wii. I'm not a Hardcore Gamer by any stretch of the imagination so most of the titles found on either the 360 or ps3 don't interest me that much. The Wii on the other hand has satisfied most of my gaming needs when I have the urge to play something.  Which isn't too often. |

PlayStation 3. Kragen pretty much covered all the reasons I have for preferring it to the others. I also honestly like the ps3 controls better than the Wiimote and XBOX's.

I like all three but if I had to choose one then it'd be the PlayStation 3 for all the reasons mentioned above.

The 360.
It may not be as powerful as the ps3 or has the ability to play blu ray, but when it comes to my First Person Shooters, Third Person Shooters, online and the likes it's does the job perfectly and that's all I could ask for really. Not to mention while it's more expensive than a Wii it's still less expensive than the ps3, even now.

Glad to see the ps3 finally getting its due on a forum for a change. Microsoft Xbox and Microsoft Xbox 360 are so grossly overrated that I can't help but laugh with glee at how the fanboys masturbate to its very existence. The ps3 is heads over heels the superior console and I'd sooner buy a NINTENDO WII to that piece of shit. Although the PC is better than all three of them combined. I usually don't compare my video game consoles to the PC but since nowadays they're trying so hard to be a computer I like reminding them of the fact.

Despite a glitchy online play, losing a lot of their better exclusives to Microsoft and having a ridiculous launch price that wasn't worth coughing up the extra dough with or without blu ray, I still find the PlayStation 3 to be the most enjoyable of the three. Both systems have their fanboys that argue constantly about which is the superior system and I'm sure Nintendo has their fair share of fanboyism too, albeit I don't see that many for the Wii at present. |
