The Last Will and Testament Of Leon Belmont
To my friends, who I fought beside, and gladly gave my life for. I knew that this would be a fight from which there was every chance I would not walk away. I traveled so far from my homeland to defend my people, and those of all realities, and was honoured to fight at your sides. Of you all, there was only one who cared enough to know me well, who pledged himself to my cause and followed me willingly to this battle. To my dear friend, Michael J. Caboose, I bequeath my earthly possessions, meager tough they be. I know not to what purpose you shall place them, but I have every faith that even though I am lost, my fight shall carry on, and you shall find someone worthy of bestowing them upon.
To the rest, I had not the chance to know you as well as I would have liked, but cherished the time we had, for all our trials and the darkness that hung over us. I can only hope that be meeting me, even in some small way, your life was bettered. I would make one request of you, if you would honor the wishes of the departed. I wish not song nor monument nor to be mourned, I only ask that you remember me in your years to come. If by chance you find yourselves one day thinking of me, I wish you all the happiness in the world, though surely it seems bleak now. Know that the darkness is but a passing fight which you shall gladly take up arms against, I'm sure, and that the day will come when the sun dawns on a bright and open future for you.
I hope that throughout the trials to come, and the dark, uncertain times before you, you maintain your bonds of friendship, for no demon nor devil, no god nor immortal, can ever truly take that from you. Yours is a friendship forged in trial, and tempered in battle. Those bonds shan't be broken by any who wish to do you harm. Remain true to yourselves and your beliefs, and know that though you may walk in darkness, the light shall ever be your guide. If I had but one hope for my death, it would be that it was not in vain, that it should have been to protect those of you I consider dear friends. Thank you all, for the brief, but cherished, memories.
