Fact is there are other more qualified Republican candidates and should he, by some miracle, actually manage to become the prime candidate for his party in the 2012 Election he'll be crushed by President Obama at the rate he's going. We all know thats saying something. |

I wouldn't worry about it. Rick Perry has dropped down so much in the primaries that he doesn't even register on the radar screen anymore. This video is a clear last ditch effort to appeal to a very small minority of religious extremists because when it comes to serious debate on the issues at hand, he's out of his league. Fact is there are other more qualified Republican candidates and should he, by some miracle, actually manage to become the prime candidate for his party in the 2012 Election he'll be crushed by President Obama at the rate he's going. I am not 100% convinced that it's a fact of the other candidates being more qualified as it is his stance on illegal immigration. Once people found out his stance on illegal immigration, combined with his horrible debating skills, that ship sunk like the Titanic so now we have Rick Perry going, "Hey! Hey! I'm a Christian! I hate gay people too, vote for me!" And I agree with Amoura I don't think Obama's religious period, and if he is he certainly doesn't practice it. |

I was explaining the message he's trying to get across and I don't think people should just focus on what's being said here. But at the same time I understand exactly what it looks like and how it's hurting him. If you add his stance on illegal immigration, and the fact that he was given all this money by the government to help out with his state that just magically disappeared without a trace and not a single cent of it was spent on the reason he got it to begin with, it's a no brainier why the man has dropped so much in the polls. You see I don't like Rick Perry but it's not because of what he's saying in this video. It's because of the two things I just mentioned above. |
