I think he plans on breaking her resistance to the point that she ends up either putting on the shroud as a last ditch effort. or breaks her to where she finally is defeated and accepts her fate.

He breaks her in a way that she begins to hate everything and everyone and takes the shroud upon herself in order to kill/destroy everyone and everything in existence. Thus that hate is what is what fuels the end's divine wrath.

Jesus. So many things have been going on across the board lately I almost missed this. Well done with Amoura's sire being underneath the mask. Makes the most sense too as I doubt even a close sibling like Zira or Michael would have had the same effect on her. Once again the shortest post in a thread does the most critical damage.
